Mocha Granita - A mocha granita from PJ's Coffee of New Orleans is shown in a clear plastic cup with a domed lid, topped with whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. The drink is being held by a person inside a vehicle, with the car's dashboard and side mirror visible in the background. The cup features the PJ's Coffee logo, and the beverage appears cold and creamy, with a straw inserted through the lid.

My PJ's!!!!!!! I have come here forever. I love the drive thru for its efficiency, but I do sit in sometimes, and it's comfy. Sitting at an outside table when the weather is nice is fun too, and you get to see everyone coming and going which will probably include a neighbor or a friend's mom. I am almost wholly devoted to the mocha granita since there is simply nothing else like it. Their coffee is all around great though, so you can't really go wrong.

PJs is a staple in St.Tammany Parish. The stores are clean and cute, the service is always great, I'm usually in and out in no time. The only complaints I really have is that their drink portions are extremely small and a little overpriced. At least at Starbucks the portions are much larger, even though PJs is MUCH better. Also, I wish they had more of a selection in pastries and breakfast sandwiches. In the picture, that is the largest size they offer. An off brand 16oz water bottle has more in it.

I have traveled long and far in search of coffee. On a recent trip through Slidell I needed a cup and figured it would be easy to find. Boy was I wrong. The first place was closed and the second didn't even exist anymore. The reviews for this location looked good, so I plotted a course and off I went. Despite using GPS, I passed this place up. It is right along the road, but for some reason I didn't see it till I passed it. This location of PJ's is similar to many others I have visited. It is small inside, but has five tables with three chairs a piece. It seems like it would be a good place to sit and type out a review when it's slow. In fact, that's exactly what I am doing right now. (See photo). Thee are a few tables outside, but it doesn't seem like there are many people watching opportunities. The iced coffee is excellent. At $2.95 for a large it is also am excellent value. The staff that are working are friendly, but not overly so. I prefer my baristas to be more personable, but for my first trip I can't complain. If you're in Slidell and want a really good iced coffee, PJ's is a good place to visit.

This location is closed! I am heartbroken because I loved this location. This location is For Lease. I gave it 5 stars from my past experience, plus, I couldn't get my message to post without assigning stars. Would hate for someone to make a special trip here, only to find an empty building.

Average PJs coffee shop experience. I utilized the drive thru, I drive thru; always a plus. The cashier was very up beat and lively despite advising me that he himself was "caffeine-deprived" I don't think they have a loyalty system as nice as bucks, sooooo my visits here are limited. I do like their brewed coffee more, but the perks & availability of bucks gets my vote & my coins.

Hot Coffee!

The coffee was hot and the stuffed biscuit really hit the spot. I found this gem on YELP and it did not disappoint! Very reasonably priced and convenient location. I definitely recommend trying some of the pastry goodies!

Ran in quickly to grab a coffee to go since the hotel coffee was pretty yucky! It was easy in and out and super tasty coffee. I wish we had PJ's in Florida. I am a fan and they do have cold brew bottles to go!

I have only been here twice, but for a chain coffee shop, this us a great alternative to Starbucks. Coffee tastes way better and service is better and more real. I genuinely love the ice mocha - it's rich and light, without being too creamy. The hot latte (mocha and hazelnut) were good, but there's something I can't quite place about it. I still thoroughly enjoyed them both, and my overall experience there was great. I will continue visiting this coffee shop, and I will update this review accordingly.

Iced vanilla coffee! Not too strong, not too sweet!
Tara N.

GREAT iced coffee, near perfect actually (in my opinion) I always tend to find that iced coffee is WAY too sweet, or too strong. I got the vanilla iced coffee, and it has the perfect sweet taste, to take away the general bitterness of plain coffee (again in my opinion) without being over bearing. I opted for 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 bc the menu prices the large iced coffee at 2.70 and I was charged 3.65, so I'm not sure where that other dollar came from??? Also, I was hoping there would be more of a selection food wise as I was wanting something for breakfast, other than a calorie dense muffin, but it seems to be a small chain so I guess I understand not having hot food. All in all, very very good coffee, but I could get a venti at starbucks, which is larger than pj's, for around the same price.

The outside is unsuspecting, but plenty of parking. On the inside, super huge and plenty of space for individuals, couples, and groups! There's even a little kid/game corner across from the bar. The vibes are clean and casual, with a hint of locals and cozy. A very nice to space to catch up or to get some work done (although I didn't notice too many outlets to charge). The menu was simple but they also had some seasonal specials. The coffee and espresso weren't dark roast, so it didn't carry that bitterness which I liked. Honestly, it sounds like you can't go wrong with any of the menu options that they offer. I also picked up a breakfast sandwich, which could of be heated a little better. The center of it was still a bit cold, but way better than frozen. It did look like they prepare their breakfast sandwiches in house and then freeze - so kudos to that! They also sell some trinkets and other goods that you can pick up as gifts! If I'm ever in town again, definitely a stop for me. Every city can use a great local coffee shop and Sirincci is it for Slidell!

Ten, ten, ten across the board!!!!!!!…read more So I was passing through Slidell and asked a friend if he knew a good coffee spot that wasn't [insert coffee shop, you know the one]. And in that moment I was reminded why I rarely ask for recommendations because my taste runs a little too refined for most. Nevertheless I turned to Maps and typed in "coffee," and the first option was an immediate no. But the second one, the name alone, told me everything I needed to know. The only problem, it was the opposite direction I was headed and I was already running late. But I couldn't ignore that instinct. I had to see for myself. "Sorry boss, can't come in today. I was on my way to work and then a gentle fall breeze blew me in the direction of my destiny and reminded me it is a serious thing just to be alive on this fresh morning in this broken world!" Anywho, I'm so happy I stopped. The moment I walked in it felt like home, not in the corny sitcom way, but in that deeper unexpected kind of way. Like walking into a crowded room full of strangers and then seeing your homegirl that instantly makes you feel like yourself again and suddenly the day is yours. Mind you I hadn't even ordered at this point, but that's how good just walking inside made me feel. i felt like a mom that has been saying "you not getting that" all year then christmas day be grinning when baby open that present they been wanting!! Then there's the coffee, I'm still sipping my Beehive Latte now and it's fabulous. And I don't say fabulous often. I was going to go with a vanilla latte but since I sort of felt like I was in Adam and Eve's garden I wanted to try something new. The owner recommended the Crème Brûlée Latte but his wife overheard me going back and forth in my head (out loud) and suggested the Beehive since I like my coffee sweet but not overwhelming. This latte is perfect, pure perfection. I grabbed a chocolate croissant too because they looked delicious and they absolutely delivered. Flaky, golden and brown and no I'm not describing myself. The pastries all looked heavenly. Everything was perfect. Sure, I'm having an exceptionally good day already, maybe because of the weather, maybe because it's Friday, or maybe because I'm an attractive single 6'3 male and ready for eligible suitors. Either way, the service, their smiles, the coffee, the plants, everything was otherworldly. I'd go out of my way to come back. Wanna come with?

They were all hustling. Nobody was standing around. Consequently the line moved quickly and I got my tea faster than I expected. That's a plus, I suppose. They earned their gratuity. I don't know if they are redecorating or not, but the decor is very stark and the atmosphere is not inviting. No artworks on the walls, paint color is neutral and boring, no music playing. Hard surfaces and high ceiling makes it echo-y and the constant noise from the drive-thru adds to the din. Simply not a place I want to stay and hang around. This location does a TON of drive-thru business so maybe that's the idea - play to your audience. There is free wi-fi and hard tables and chairs to sit, but no stuffed couches or anything cushy. The parking lot at this location is poorly designed, so when the drive-thru line gets long it blocks all the parking spaces in front of the door, including the handicapped spaces. The alternative is to park on the drive-thru side of the building, but then you have to cut between the cars waiting in line and walk around the building. Not user-friendly in the best of circumstances, and if it's raining I'll go elsewhere. It's the closest one to my house and it's not ALWAYS lined up around the building so I keep going back. Not a faster service inside than outside, where our car would have been in the drive thru was in and out in less time than it took to get our drink. Took about 10 minutes from the drive thru. Expect about a 17 minute wait for our drink order if you order inside then. Unbelievable. We should have ordered from the drive thru. We wasted 25 minutes for a Starbucks average coffee on our drive today. Not so cool.
