This is the kind of place that makes you think there's still hope out there haha, dramatic, but kind of true! We ended up here after taking a wrong turn, and we were amazed at what we found. Everything is made with clean ingredients and best practices. We tried a yerba mate tea and a turmeric spice tea, and they were honestly the best teas we've ever had. They also had really good food, all made with clean ingredients and no seed oils. I really hope we start seeing more places like this around Metairie. This place is one of a kind and a must visit spot when in the area. The staff is very friendly and alway willing to help and provide outstanding courtesy. They offer a variety of samples to any teas you want to try. They are very knowledgeable about the teas and offer a variety of food options as well. They have ample seating inside and and usually have their outdoor window /Door is usually open operating outdoor space outside. They have their tea operations onsite and make it right there. Their products are phenomenal all with a variety for all preferences from caffeine to caffeine free. They have sustainable bottle and don't use plastic, they offer large portions and offer a refillable bottles for purchase and at a great price too. This place is certainly one of kind and the best spot I have ever been to. I certainly will be back to check it out and you should too. I've never been to a tea bar but this place is so cute. They let you try samples of different tea combinations and soup. Everything is all natural, no preservatives, all organic. Sweetened with natural agave nectar if needed. I walked away with a delicious, refreshing strawberry hibiscus with agave in a nice glass container with a cozy. I can't count how many times I've eaten here. I was addicted to the Turkey Chili for quite a while. But all of their signature soups are amazing ... and a must-try. Once you find one you like, it is QUITE the value to get the largest size. Which made for a great (quick) meal at home for the entire week whenever I needed something. read more

Rarely do I go out of my way to leave a review, but I had to for this gem. The concept is what intrigued me at first. Reusable glass bottles for high quality, delicious tea ON TAP. Then I was introduced to their homemade chicken salad (I've never had better). I make multiple trips per week to pick this up for lunch. They also have freshly baked gluten free muffins, insanely tasty soups, AND the yummiest avocado toast ever. To top it off, their coffee is 10/10. The staff and owner are all so kind and helpful. We love UR teas. All of the soups are outstanding. We get the soups at least once a week. We've also had their toasts which are excellent. My wife enjoys the different teas. I love this locally-owned, family run business. Their customer service is superb. You can tell how much they appreciate your business with every interaction. Drop in and taste one of their delicious fresh brewed teas. They have something for everyone. They offer samples too. So you can taste it before you buy. I love that they offer reusable glass bottles. When you return with your bottle for a refill, you'll receive a discounted rate. Love this! I'm so lucky to have UR teas in my area. I've been here probably 7 times in the past few months but I wish I could go once a week. I don't live here so I look forward to whenever I'm in town and can get my fill-up. This is exactly what I want out of a sustainable business. Instead of going to well-known drive through coffee places to get my caffeine hit for $7 in a big plastic cup, I go to UR teas to get way more of it for $3 in a reused glass bottle. If you haven't been, here's how it works; you buy a bottle or growler for a very small deposit fee, then forever more you only pay for refills, which are incredibly cheap. I never spend more than $15 here and my 3 personal-sized bottles last me a week. When you turn in your bottle, they give you a sanitized bottle that someone else has turned in and take yours to wash and give to someone else. This keeps the whole process super fast; faster than a drive thru, I promise you. They even give you an amazing little protective sleeve on your bottle with a loop you can attach to your backpack. They have a ton of options at all levels of caffeine that rotate often. And get this... all their tea is default unsweetened. They don't even sell sucrose there. You can get it sweetened with other less refined options if you choose. This is so good for my health and so many options taste naturally sweet and I don't even miss the sweetener. If you are trying to look out for your health or manage diabetes this is a great place to go. Finally, thank you to the staff and owner family for always being incredibly kind and genuine human beings. Y'all are so patient and passionate and I always leave smiling!!! Wow. Great place. There's a lot brewing over there. Some very interesting flavors and some good stand bys for the less adventurous. They use a refillable glass decanter - growler business model. This place is so cute! I drove up and parked at the front of the store. It was a beautiful sunny day and their garage door was open and it looked so inviting! Next, I went in instantly loved the decor! The decor is like desert meets refreshing water! I loved the vibe. Next the staff welcomed me in with a cheery, nice attitude. The guy asked what we would like and if we would like to try samples! I instantly said yes and said the one I was eyeing for about a 20 seconds of instantly looking at the menu. They have your three main categories: black teas, green teas, or herbal teas. I got a holiday special they had. The glass container with the sleeve is just precious! I had seen Ur Teas while shopping near by and decided to give it a try. it is by far the best tea I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of their goods. The quality of the teas and coffee far surpass anything you'll find at a grocery store or coffee shop. Everything is high quality and the store is environmentally contentious with reusable glass bottles (which makes it an excellent selection for those trying to lessen their impact on the environment). My absolute favorite places to get tea or hang out is definitely UR teas. Not only is the tea amazing, the staff is incredible! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They are environment friendly noting that all their bottles are glass so all customers can reuse them when getting another tea. Their prices are great and their tea is so refreshing. I love getting their tea because it is so smooth, like I'm drinking water, and it's very natural. They have 0 sugar and preservatives, and they don't use any plastic. I'm a person who doesn't really like unsweet tea, but I could drink these teas all day. The environment of the shop is also amazing. I love when I make a trip to the tea shop and I could stay there for hours whether I'm talking to the staff, sitting with friends, or just enjoying my tea in the store.
