    4/30/25 FYI. Cool. Beautiful

Scary, my daughter has been to Greece and sadly I have not yet... When you want your kids to have a better life, lol. Quality/Quantity - Thanks to the guest/couple that sat next to us at Aronhill Vineyard (See other Yelp review, 4 stars), we are now here. Word of mouth is the best advertisement! Another amazing experience. As usual, the only people here. Did the red tasting for $45, see pictures. All of which were good, but the 2019 EDV Cuvee Blend $59 was my favorite. Good looking bottles. The new owners will start putting the vintages and types of wines on the front of the bottles. More user friendly. Atmosphere - Another beautiful vineyard. Appreciate the different and cool Greek theme, thank you. If it was not for that, we would probably not come. And more to come, see the pictures of their future pools and cabanas. Everything still looks fairly new. Indoor and outdoor seating. We did both. We started outdoors and worked our way indoors, and then I worked my way to the bar. Clean restrooms. Plenty of parking. Did I say we were the only customers, lol...? They are also a resort, see website. Service - Athena, yes that is really her name, was so welcoming. Not sure if it helped that we were the only customers, lol. Price - $120 + cash tip. Owner Comment - I believe you have changed ownerships/partnerships a few times...? Anyways, congrats to the current team of 2022.

We stopped by on a rainy Saturday--and we're glad we did! As you drive up the long hill to the property, you're transported into a peaceful Greek hideaway. The views are absolutely stunning--easily a 10/10. The ladies behind the bar were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful. They're still renovating the outdoor areas, like the pool, but you can already feel the charm and potential. The parking lot is on the smaller side, so just keep that in mind during busier times. Whether you're here for the scenery, the wine, or just a unique experience, this place is worth a quick visit!

    Nothing good

Beautiful scenery, but that's about it. Came for a birthday wine tasting and the experience was disappointing. Our server, Ruby, was rude from the start--made us feel uncomfortable for taking photos out front even though no one was around. She started out saying "do you guys mind? We have guest coming in" we are guest... first of all especially with that price. Each wine pour felt short, and there was about a 20-minute wait between pours. The $40 tasting is paid upfront, and the service reflected that. Very little explanation of the wines, no offer of the fire pit or food, and the charcuterie boards looked like pre-packaged grocery store boards sitting in plastic in a fridge--not worth the price. They seemed understaffed, but other wineries in Paso Robles offer far better service and value. Come for the views, but don't expect a great tasting experience. They wines tasted bad, they only offer one white wine along with 5 red for the "mixed". One last I would add the bathrooms.... Say goodbye to warm water with that broken handle.

This review is for the winery on site. I had been eyeing this place for some time after tik tok blew it up. I will say I was surprised to see that it was a lot smaller than I expected or how it appeared online. However, it truly is a beautiful property for the photo ops. The wine itself was just okay but the ambiance and friendly staff really add that extra oomph that the wine was missing for me. Still think it's worth a visit and it wasn't overly crowded like we were expecting.

Sirena Vineyard Resort & Winery feels like a hidden jewel of the Adelaida Hills. Just five miles from downtown Paso Robles, it's perched at 1,800 feet in the Santa Lucia Mountains, with sweeping vineyard, canyon, and mountain vistas. Inspired by the sun-drenched charm of the Greek isles, its crisp white stucco walls, cobalt-blue accents, and circular courtyards whisk you straight to Santorini. Yet you're surrounded by world-class California wines! Inside the tasting room, knowledgeable host pour a rotating lineup of gold-medal vintages and small-batch gems. But what truly sets Sirena apart is its hospitality. From the moment Minnie greets you with insider tips and warm smiles, to the seamless blend of luxury lodging, fine wine, and dramatic sunset views, every detail feels thoughtfully curated. For anyone seeking beauty, serenity, and world-class wine in Paso Robles, Sirena Vineyard Resort & Winery is simply unmissable.

What an absolutely beautiful establishment! The views are stunning while sitting on the patio. I love the Greek looking buildings painted in white and blue. Our sommelier was so friendly and knowledgeable. The sparkling brut cuvée was delicious!

ZERO stars if I could. My stay at Sirena Vineyard Resort was an absolute disaster. For the insane price they charge, you'd expect at least basic comfort -- but instead I got one of the worst nights I've ever had in a hotel. They put us in a room with a mattress that squeaked with every tiny movement, and I mean every movement. Sleeping on it was impossible, and within a couple of hours I woke up with painful body aches. The level of "service" was just as disappointing. Nothing about this place matches the price or the hype. I left exhausted, annoyed, and honestly shocked that a resort would let guests sleep on something so uncomfortable. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. This place is extremely overpriced and completely overrated. Don't be fooled by the glowing reviews -- my experience was awful, and I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone.

Sirena beautiful winery reminded us of Greece with the white stucco color. Beautiful views and the selection of delicious wines was great. The customer service was amazing our server was a young lady sorry forgot her name . We visited on a Sunday midday and there were only 2 other guests besides ourselves. What a pleasant surprise which led to a great experience with our wine host. Our wine hist mentioned it was crazy busy Saturday all day so maybe a tip come on a Sunday :)

I just spent 3 days (again!) at the AMAZING Sirena Resort, and WOW! What a BEAUTIFUL place! My wife and I were here hosting my mother-in-law and we also met a couple of friends for wine tasting and checking out Paso Robles. We are Sirena wine members of the highest level and enjoyed a FREE night's stay in their pool villas. SO INCREDIBLE !! That's right, FREE night when you buy bottles in a fantastic room with SPECTACULAR views!! What a gem Sirena was for us, gorgeous "Greek Island" vibe, super friendly wine personnel and staff, and the views and surroundings are so peaceful, relaxing and calming after the trek from the L.A. area. And the wine is just delicious and tasty. We always order big and are NEVER disappointed with their reds, white and sparkling varietals. Highly recommended! Even if you only drive through the area once in a while, come check this place out and buy some wine! Become a wine member or just buy some wine and they offer superb free perks in their renovated mansion and we have never had a bad experience there. Even their breakfast is really tasty and hits the spot right before a day of tasting. You will love it here!

What a disappointment! Made a reservation back in February for Mother's Day weekend (2.5 months in advance). Received an email 2 days prior to my stay letting me know they had to make some unforeseen repairs to the specific room I booked so they had to cancel my reservation. The email was supposedly sent by the property owner and signed John Whitener. He offered a complimentary stay of booked within 6 months. I have emailed him twice with 0 reply. It was very stressful trying to find a hotel at the last minute on Mother's Day weekend but I get it John, that's not your problem but sending a fake offer is extremely dishonest. Don't book at this place, the Allegretto is fantastic for about the same price and their customer service was impeccable.

This place looks just like you are in Greece. I accidentally found this place from my way driving down Daou vineyards. The place was high on mountain top with great views of vineyards. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Stayed at Sirena for the weekend. Before choosing this location, I thoroughly looked up information about the property and its amenities. I did see very mixed reviews. My experience was great here. Guests get 1 complementary tasting for the stay. The ladies in the tasting room were great. Super friendly and although they were busy, they communicated this very well. I can appreciate a smaller operating business. I forgot to call in the day before for check in instructions but the morning of, I was able to call. I was coming from so cal and arrived earlier than anticipated. I was able to check in early, no problem. Upon check in I was also offered breakfast for $18 the next morning. We declined only because we had plans to dine somewhere but the food looked really tasty when we stopped by the next morning. Many people have left reviews saying that they didn't get the service they wanted from staying here but it is vey clear that there is not housekeeping on your stay daily. This is not a hotel type of stay. I would say staying here is more for a chill couple experience. The rooms are designed in a way for you to enjoy your partner. It is important to note that the tubs are in the bedroom area and the shower does not have a door or curtain. It would not be an ideal stay for a friends. For us, it was perfect and exactly what we were looking for as an anniversary trip. While I mentioned there is no daily housekeeping like you would get at a hotel, the room was very clean and if we needed more towels it was an easy call to the ladies in the tasting room. The views were amazing. The room we stayed in did not have a private patio or pool but it had a common patio area. It was quiet and pleasant. The only complaint that I have is that the description when booking states there is a television. The room did not have its own television. The television is in the common kitchen and dining area. It was not a big deal but this should be known when booking. So do not expect there to be a tv in your room. Also there are lots of lizzards, spiders and bugs outside. If that bothers you, I would not stay here but it's up in the hills of a vineyard, wild life is expected. It wasn't a big deal to us because we knew that. And again, the inside of the rooms and common areas were clean. Also I'm pretty sure when I booked the image was a rustic looking room so I expected that but my assumption is that they have finished renovating the rooms. Overall I would stay here again for an anniversary trip. It's 10 min away from the downtown area and it is beautifully decorated.

Being able to enjoy some of their older vintages this way makes the experience even more special for wine enthusiasts. They had gotten the bottle from their neighbors who must be club members. All I remember was it was one of the best wines I've had. I'm a cheap wine drinker, but things like the stag's Artemis and halter ranch Ancestor just leave lasting impressions in my mind. Checked in with the gentleman at the host stand in the beautiful building. Everything so clean and nice here. Chose to be seated outdoors on the beautiful day. It was quite crowded and busy with folks enjoying food and wines. Ms. Kristie was our server and she was fantastic! Working multiple tables with bottles in hands for all the tastings happening. She was super friendly and accommodating and helpful with explanations of each wine and so energetic to manage every table! Her energy helped stave off the fatigue from driving 4 hours since morning and the food coma from lunch before arriving. We already had lunch so opted for just the olives with the tastings of Ranch and Silver to maximize tasting all the different wines. Initially requested Ranch for both of us, since I expected to get 2 bottles of the wonderful ancestor to get one tasting waived. Shortly after, I noticed ancestor was also considered part of the silver label wines, so switched one to Silver flight (thought maybe ancestor was not silver, since it was part of the ranch flight, but Ms. Kristie said it's just on both flights since it's their signature wine). The olives were very salty, maybe should be rinsed out of it's brine before to reduce the salt. I expected olives to be from HR, but olives are not, and I guess just the olive oil in is is (on the olive oil later). Maybe the sourdough would have been better since it's served with the olive oil, but was just too full from lunch. After tasting all the wines from both flights, for my novice taste buds, I think Halter Ranch is just a master of blends! I actually preferred the blends over the single grape variety wines. Suspected as such after tasting the ancestor before, but my plans to get 2 bottles of ancestor went out the door once I tasted the Cuvee Alice! Wow, so smooth and complexity in depth, instantly scrambled my brain of thinking I came solely for the Ancestor. Ms. Kritie explained the Cuvee Alice was named after the owner's mom. That made perfect sense! It was a wine deserving of owner's pride, what a wonderful wine! Doubt came over me, now maybe I have to step up to buying the Cuvee Alice instead of Ancestor? Can't get better than the Cuvee. But the final round of Ancestor showed off why it's their signature wine, still was so wonderful, and couldn't make up my mind since I love the Ancestor, but I could not imagine not enjoying Cuvee again. Ended up splitting my decision and got a bottle of each to make sure I can have both again! Will introduce inlaws to the Cuvee since we all had Ancestor before. And will have Ancestor for my dad on Father's day then so I can have it then to see if I can decide then which is my fav, or just both :) On the way out, saw the bottles of olive oil by the entrance. Got tastings and loved it, wow! Some "real" olive oil! I preferred the ancestor over the tuscan. Wife got a bottle the Picual olive oil. It is so smooth with delightful flavors and a wonderful bitter bite to it. It's too good and pricey to use for food, so we just take a spoonful daily like a super antioxidant supplement! Already getting low on the bottle... These wines and olive oils are way above my pay grade, but why gotta be so good. Maybe I need to ask inlaw neighbor if they are club members to order me some:) I noticed there is a HR in Temecula closer to home...

My girlfriend and I visited Halter Ranch for a wine tasting and had a solid overall experience. She…read moredid the Ranch Flight, and I went with the Silver Flight. Both were good, but I felt the Silver Flight had the stronger overall lineup. I ended up buying two bottles of their Malbec before leaving, which says a lot about the quality. We had a 2 PM reservation and arrived about 10 minutes late due to a detour through the hills getting to the winery. Even so, they were very accommodating and seated us right away at an open table. There were quite a few open tables when we arrived, so on this particular Saturday in April, a reservation may not have been necessary, but it's still a good idea to have one just in case. Service was a bit inconsistent but still positive overall. We were initially greeted by another team member who brought water and got us started with our first pours while our assigned server, Janise, was tied up. She later served a couple of the middle pours, and another team member stepped in again for one of the later wines. It seemed like she was balancing multiple responsibilities, and while the handoff between staff kept things moving, it did feel a bit disjointed at times. That said, the overall tone was more casual and friendly rather than overly formal, which some people may prefer. One thing I did appreciate was that there was no hard push to join their wine club. At other wineries in Paso Robles, I've experienced a much stronger sales push, so it was nice to be able to enjoy the tasting without that pressure. The wines themselves were consistently good. We didn't have anything we disliked, and most of what we tried ranged from solid to very enjoyable. They also offer food, though we had already eaten beforehand and didn't try it. The property also has a small retail area near the front with apparel and other merchandise. There are EV chargers available at the far end of the parking lot, which is a nice feature, but accessing them can be a bit tricky. Larger vehicles like sprinter vans and limos tend to park in that same area, which can make maneuvering into the charging spots more difficult than it should be. Overall, I would come back. Good wine, a relaxed atmosphere, and a nice setting. If you're in Paso Robles and looking for a laid-back tasting experience with solid wines, Halter Ranch is worth a visit.
