Beautiful estate, gorgeous indoor and outdoor ambiance, great snacks and wines. We went with the silver flight which paired well with the charcuterie board. It was also lovely to see multiple planes take off and land from the strip. Great time, but the service was often slow in between pours which the waiter did acknowledge and apologize for and for which I appreciated. If you're looking for something with live music and a little more lively, this is the place to be.

Halter ranch is a very nice winery and vineyard! The drive is very scienic. On the way to the main building you drive under a covered bridge. You have a choice of sitting inside or outside for your tasting, since it was a nice day we opted to sit outside. Very nice patio with very good service! Since it was lunch time we shared a hot honey chicken sandwich and fries... absolutely delicious and shareable. Our celebratory wine tasting was special!

This place is stunning and rightly priced. My husband and I enjoyed a lovely cheese board on the patio and I did a white wine tasting. We ended up leaving with two bottles, it was so good! The service was great! They were pretty busy but Jasmine took care of us and was super friendly and had great recommendations. The outside was relaxing with beautiful sculptures and views and the inside was classy and modern. I highly recommend you visit but definitely make a reservation a couple of days in advance.

In the Adelaida region of Paso, well, this gets a wow. A little house on the road, go inside the property, and it has a bridge, vineyard, and one of the loveliest tasting rooms and properties you're gonna find. My gf, Mom, and I came here the other day for my birthday lunch. I didn't do the tasting (I will, I promise), but I just got a glass of their GSM (delish). But the food gets a lot of the praise here. Literally, several OMG moments were had. * Warm Sourdough [$12, 4.5 stars] * Smashed Fingerling Potatoes [$12, 5.0 stars] * Charred Summer Squash [$14, 5.0 stars] * Burrata salad with grilled Peaches [$22, 4.0 stars] * Halter Ranch Burger [$25, 5.0 stars] * Creme Brulee [$free for the birthday boy, 4.0 stars] Would I go back? Hell yes. When will I go back? Very very soon. How often will I go back? Often. Reservations strongly recommended.

The best service I have had ever at winery! Kristie was amazing. Food was delicious and ready when we arrived, as we called in advance, just prior to the kitchen closing! I recommend the Ranch flight - delicious selection and generous pours. Beautiful and comfortable outdoor patio with wonderful view of nature and winery! Burrata has fresh seasonal peaches as Chef Paul finds local ingredients. Gnocchi is a must-try especially if you love mushroom!

What an incredible vineyard! The property is truly breathtaking. We arrived right as their tasting room opened and despite being full with upcoming reservations, they accommodated our party and even gave us a guided tasting of their Ranch Flight. Our server, Liam, was amazing! He had great recommendations and was able to answer all our questions. His energy was also very upbeat and amiable. The wine of course was great and the food was surprisingly amazing too! We got the fries and fondue appetizers- both were delicious. We had to make ourselves members before leaving and are looking forward to returning soon.

One of my favorite wineries for their class, elegance and ambiance. Beautiful indoor and outdoor seating with live music, great breeze and large windows to feel the fresh outdoors. Their wine tastings are never a miss and they always have something special to surprise you with. The food flavor & variety is ok. As for variety the best would probably be the charcuterie and steak. The charcuterie has something for everyone and although not meat forward it is flavor forward with beautiful mixes of flavor. The steak is just straightforward cut of steak but it still is delicious. Love coming here!

I had been looking forward to visiting Halter Ranch's flagship location since being introduced to their wines when they bought Hart Winery here in Temecula in 2022 as their third location. This beautiful 2,700 acre nature estate includes vineyards that are 100% certified organic, a covered bridge, various art pieces/sculptures around the estate, olive groves & a culinary garden, a 15" gauge railroad with scale trains to tour the property, a number of historic lodging options on the property, and a private air strip as HR is the only fly-in winery in the world! Our server Liam entertained us with stories behind the wines and their names, such as our Ranch Flight's CDP Côte de Paso aka "the rambunctious nephew" vs the Silver Flight Cuvée Alice aka "the elegant aunt" There is so much to explore on this property and various tours that I'd love to come back for - the wine & cave tour, Defender tour and of course, the wine down train experience that I know our grandkids would be all about!

My favorite place in Paso Robles. The winery is absolutely gorgeous! The staff is knowledgeable and the wine is good. You have to enjoy a wine with minerality to like their wine.

Fell in love with their wine then when you get there you fall in love again. Wildlife and quiet. Saw eagles, hawks, grey and ground squirrels all sorts of birds and our hostess had the mostest She will be the reason we become members. Her knowledge and personality is rare and greatly appreciated Jenise you're awesome! The food is wonderful and the wines ...... well the wines stand alone and above.

We had such a lovely afternoon here. The estate is absolutely stunning, the wine was wonderful, and the food was fresh and delicious. Staff were great, albeit definitely on a more relaxed schedule, so if you're trying to make it to your next tasting on time, might want to keep an eye on your watch. We were in no rush, so we ended up spending about 3.5 hours here, which was absolutely divine. Cave tours are an awesome option, too!

From the moment we walked in, the views were absolutely stunning -- the big window overlooking the winery was just beautiful! The atmosphere was peaceful, low-key, and perfect for relaxing. Our host, Jenise, made the experience even better! She was funny, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. We really enjoyed her energy and how personal the service felt. It's a bit more intimate and closed-off than some of the larger wineries, but that's what we loved about it -- amazing vibes, great service, and gorgeous scenery.

I'm sure you've heard of and tasted many of their items. Today it's wine with lunch. I picked up six for an anniversary celebration. This group forced me to sit and enjoy lunch with them. I was told by the "wonderful owner (a few years back) that this property is the only winery and restaurant in the country with a Michelin Star. I know it's difficult to obtain, I'm not sure how long that star lasts either. 90% percent of the dining is done on the patio surrounding the main room Our server Carley, she was pleasant and tolerated the guests (us) she served. Now the menu is short and expensive, more places & restaurants seem to going in that direction. I really wanted the tomahawk pork chop but I settled with the spring salad and a small portion of King Salmon. Justin's is known for their Burger and a side of truffle fries will put you back a bit. if you have to ask.... The wine was brought out one white and one red. I don't drink but both flavors were applauded. I ordered a bottle of sparkling water. The stories flowed, I didn't really know these folks, they were good AG people from Bakersfield. So we got acquainted, the most annoying thing were the flies. They had those table top fly spinners but on another table so that didn't help us much. The food was delicious, no question although the pasta dish with chicken for L had a very long and dark hair on it you really couldn't miss it. Other than that excitement we all enjoyed our meal. I had a couple slices of the pork, not as tender as I would have thought but it tasted real good. Salad a tad small but flavorful. I missed out on dessert, the wine was enough. Overall a very nice setting with a casual pace, perfect for those special occasions. Reservations on line a must So another free lunch, they do happen occasionally, cash is preferred but hey I'm not complaining, I'll keep that to myself. Thanks Foodguy-Martin

There are way better wineries in Paso like Daou and Sculpterra. The people there care for your experience and every wine you taste is great and doesn't change with every sip. This place mostly was focused on extracting money. I went there because they were recommended by so many friends to me. That's probably where they are lucky. That's why people visit them and because they are so hyped the person visiting has to also like them. The employees here are not motivated enough to be nice or attend the guests properly during the end of the day. The lady on the front desk in front of the entry was super rude. In a 3 mins conversation she mentioned at least 4 times how they were about to close and they are unable to provide us anything except the wine tasting. We had an appointment for 3:30 and the winery closes at 5:00. I would have understood if it was 4:30. I was celebrating my birthday and I mentioned it. It literally meant nothing to her and she never mentioned it in her notes while she mentioned that they will do a chocolate flight with a candle. The guy who helped us with our wine tasting was good but visibly tired. He tried his best. Even arranged a charcuterie board for us. He did mention they were about to close but that made sense. He was genuinely happy to see us when we went inside to pay. The only good deed done to us was asking us if we needed waters for the road. Also I liked the breezy fan feature. The wines are not very appealing. A lot better can be done with the taste, recipes and fermentation process. The prices are very high for the experience and the wines. Next day we went to another winery with Amazing views. They were so welcoming and warm and the moment I mentioned I was celebrating my birthday they were extra pampering. There wine flights were appropriately priced.Every wine we tasted was great and even after my wine purchase I did not feel robbed. That was some unforgettable experience. At Justin our experience was DULL and TIRING and not good at all. I am never going to recommend Justin to anyone. PS- Don't go there because people are mentioning it the moment they hear Paso Robles. There wines are no better than the wines you get at the medium shelf of the drugstore. Views are just OK. Use your money at a better winery.

We checked in at the tasting room and were greeted by Greg, the owner and our host for the day, then grabbed a spot outside. Greg brought the wines from the tasting menu out 1 at a time and told us a little about each. We even got an extra pour of an off menu wine.
