A group of 5 of us made reservations for 1pm on a Sunday. We were seated right away but the server was slow to approach and take our drink orders (not unexpected on the weekend). The music was very loud-to the point that we couldn't really hear each other over the rap, hip hop and R&B selection. I'm all for a party atmosphere but I don't want to have to read my friends' lips for Sunday brunch. The food was quick to come out and tastes great. The food was great! Everything else felt Eh unfortunately. I got the smoked Gouda Mac n cheese and it was delicious, very rich tasting. The lighting here is nice and cool! There were two servers/bartenders between the whole restaurant and we came towards the end of the night so it felt like their focus was elsewhere. read more

Energetic staff that was excited to assist us, big plus in today's environment. Good music playing but still had game on if you wanted to check in on the score. Love the wait staff but did not realize there is a DJ at Sunday brunch today 9/3 at noon. Much too loud for afternoon brunch. Definitely too much for the over 50 crowd. And the food took over 30 minutes to get to the table. But Jaclynn made it right. My suggestion- You need to indicate more prominently on your website there is DJ on Sunday. We had brunch there and it was great! We ordered the ricotta lemon pancakes as a side to share. I had the pork belly breakfast sandwich and my husband had the avocado breakfast sandwich. All three things were delicious! We tried 4 different mimosas. My husband's favorite was the huckleberry mimosa. Service was very good. It was busy but staff did a good job of taking care of us. I was visiting my husband who is on a job in Council Bluffs. We were looking for a place to get something to eat and have a Bloody Mary. I searched through Yelp and Sips on 10th had good reviews and was close to his apartment so we decided to give it a try. Hubby ordered the Get in My Belly and I ordered the Morning Dilemma with bacon. Both came with seasoned tater tots. The Bloody Mary's were great but those egg sandwiches were so good. The tater tots were crispy with a really good seasoning. I'm back home on the East side of Iowa and still thinking about that egg sandwich. I'd love to know the secret to that sweet egg sauce. Service was excellent. The bartender chatted with us and when he found out we were from out of town gave us some suggestions of other things to do. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. I enjoyed Sips, particularly the food and the waitress/bartender Bri/Bre. We had the chicken wings (fire), flatbread (pretty good), and Mac (also pretty good). I think the only thing that could improve somewhat easily is the ambiance. I wish the music was less loud, more current and modern and that there were no tvs. The tvs are giving sports bar, when Sips could clearly be a trendy place akin to Little Bo and Via/Saro next door. Fun , upbeat atmosphere! They have a DJ too!! The food was great. We tried the lemon ricotta pancakes, which had a strawberry on top. If you take a bite of the pancakes with the strawberry, it tastes like a pink starburst. They were out of rosemary truffle tots, so they substituted with a curled wedge fry ( very crispy and delicious). The staff was friendly as well. I recommend making a reservation for sure! read more

This place is beautiful! Great Vibe. Classy but casual. Got the Big Bavarian chef style for our appetizer. It's like a charcuterie board built around a big soft pretzel. Really cool idea! There was some bacon pepper jelly stuff that was freakn amazing. Cocktails were lovely. Great wine list. Very grateful we have a place like this in Omaha read more
