We were seated outside which was okay but there was nothing protecting us from the sun. We did not prepare and bring sunscreen so my friend got sun burn. We sat inside which was on the smaller side but cozy. Would recommend doing a reservation because of this. I visited Sips on 10th with a friend for brunch. We made reservations and were seated outside. The outdoor area was nice, especially the green space as a spot for games. Inside was a bit loud, though outside was quieter and easy to have a conversation across the table. The host was very nice and sat us quickly. The deck is nice, though has no sun covering or shade, so it got pretty hot, even early in the morning. We ordered the mimosa tree to share which was fun. One of the mimosas we ordered was the peach Bellini which I would normally love, though instead of peach puree they must have used peach schnapps or something similar and wasn't great. The food took a while to come out, though our waitress was nice and apologetic. I ordered the Little Italy benedict which was good, though not hot by the time it came out. Overall I had a good time, but would request indoor seating in the summer or would love to have a sun shade/umbrella next time if outside. read more

Food was delicious. The menu is small, I loved that. It has uniquely crafted dishes. I LOVED the mimosa cocktail tower. Beautiful ambiance. The hostess was able to get us in swiftly. You have to ask for water though or they will not bring any to you. So we went our meal without water, we didn't know. My first mimosa came out very clearly dirty, with lipstick caked on the glass. The atmosphere here is amazing. The vibes are always riding high. Every time I come, I have so much fun! The first time I went, I ordered a fun drink with the sliders and my friend ordered the flatbread. The next time I went we ordered a few apps to share and the brie cheese app tasted more like cheso than brie but the soft pretzel and the pork belly tacos were absolutely incredible! The drinks as always were amazing! Recently, my friends and I went to one of their themed brunches and it was so much fun! We were not expecting it to be so incredible! The owner and her family here are so sweet. I came in for brunch on a Sunday morning and she was accommodating to myself and a friend (I had sent a message via Facebook the night before asking for a special request). The food is hot and fresh, the menu isn't overwhelming, prices are $10-$15, they have a good variety for both food and drinks, and their inside/outside set-up is welcoming. Sips on 10th is a cute little space where Banana Joe's used to be. I don't know what that was like, but Sips has combined a cocktail bar with an upscale brunch space-- a winning combination. The space is bright with large windows looking out to a deck and grassy area for al fresco dining. Brunch is only on the weekends, but their bar food for regular hours looks great. I ordered a cocktail called Ranch Water that was a real thirst quencher made of Tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, and soda water. My entree was a generous stack of pancakes topped with house-made ricotta cheese and lemon-infused syrup. It was a rich, delicious, and generous portion. Bookguy ordered the charcuterie which had mini bagels, cream cheese, feta, smoked salmon, fruit, and nuts. Except for the feta, he really enjoyed it. These dishes were a departure for us since we usually have traditional egg and meat dishes, which are also available here. Really fun vibe on a recent Saturday night with great music - think old school 50 cent, snoop and Will Smith (pre-slap). The owners of Sips also have Social and Blackstone Social. I am quickly becoming a big fan on everything on 10th street, and Sips on 10th is a big reason why. One of my favorite things about a spot like this is the vibes and atmosphere quickly transport me to another place, another city, it's incredible. I came in for a girls night out and I was sporting some champagne flute earrings and our server immediately gave me kudos, she was such a impactful part of our evening. She was so fun and personable. We started with wine and I love their Sauvignon blanc, it was delicious. We also ordered our #girldinner aka a charcuterie board. The bread that came was it was toasted, but not too crispy, and the fig jam was sensational. I loved the different kind of semi soft cheeses and almonds. The music they play is great! There was a lot of singing along to certain songs. It was a popular spot on a Friday night, but I can see why! They offer so many different kind of drinks and libations, the bartenders move quickly, and the seating is very inviting. Very quick with orders, drinks, and getting food out. The venue was SUPER cute! Seats at the bar, and multiple tables on the second lower level. They also have garage doors on the north side of the building but no patio yet, I can only imagine they will be building out a small patio with seats! There is no better sound than hearing the pop of a champaign bottom in the middle of the day. I am so glad to have found a bubbly cocktail bar. The drinks are fantastic and affordable. 10 out of 10!!!! The friendly staff makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Not a bad place to eat. We came here late on a Saturday night looking for food, and came out feeling good! The butternut squash ravioli was great! The truffle chips were very crunchy. The beef bread was ok. And the tuna rice chip thing (can't remember the name) I wouldn't get again. The rice was hard and inedible. The vibe there is great and we were able to watch the Nebraska volleyball game as well! And they have multiple options for espresso martinis, which is a big win!! They claimed they were unable to split our bill per seat and had to split it "evenly." The waiter came up to our table and made a snark remark, "it's almost as if you guys don't have Venmo." This was impossible as some of us had food and some only had drinks. Absolutely lazy behavior. Poor management. 40 minutes before our drinks were served... meaning they forgot. Negligence through and through. Restaurant knew our party was there for a birthday. They brought us shots unprovoked, and then we got charged for it ultimately. We were so sick of the confusion we just ended up paying for it. The EXCHANGE provided better customer service than this dud of a bar. 0/10.
