The doctor himself was very easy to talk to, straight-forward and was not at all sales pitchy. He explained everything thoroughly and in terms I could understand. I, like I assume most people, have a "thing" about touching my eye. So when the doctor suggest contacts my defenses immediately went up. Fortunate and unfortunately my vision is poor enough to warrant contact lenses free of charge. So the doctor and has team offered to help me, as long as required, learn to put in and take out contacts it's as much ease as I could possibly allow myself. I wish I had seen Dr. Vansuch much sooner. He is definitely someone I would recommend to anyone concerned with not only their vision, but the Heath of their eyes.

I brought in my contact box for them to see BC fit. When finished they let me know that for contact prescription I would need to pay a fitting fee of $215 to $289. (in 50 years of contact wearing I've never heard of a fitting fee for current contact users). I asked them to just give me the new contact prescription for the contact I currently wear and was told they can't give me a contact prescription without me paying the fitting fee. I've now my insurance paid 1 eye exam for the year and have to either pay their fee of go to another doctor for a full exam (which is half the price of their fitting fee) and get my contact prescription, contacts and glasses. I should have paid more attention to the poor reviews!!! I will say Everyone is really nice while they tell you their extorsion rules as they apologize and try to say it's your fault... so nice that I think having disgruntled clients is a very common thing... poor employees

Dr Yomtoob came in after all the examination and measurements were done by the optometrist. Though I no longer live close to her office, I will make the 2 hour drive every year. Before I met Dr Sharieff, I had a hard time finding an optometrist to provide me the "right" prescription. Most of the prescriptions I received left me blurry vision but she gets it right. She's very thorough and dials down your prescription twice, once at the beginning and then at the end just to make sure she gets it right. Even though the surgery went perfectly, and my vision was technically better than perfect at 20/15, my brain had difficulty "working with" the new clarity and contrast of the lenses. I suffered from flickering or shimmering in my peripheral vision, unwanted rapid eye movement and a sense that my vision was not my own--like everything seemed to be showing up in my mind as if through a camera. None of the ophthalmologist I was working with knew what to do. They kept telling me I would "get over it." But after searching with ChatGPT, I learned that patients like me with extremely highly developed visual acuity and visual processing skills, will suffer from far more difficult and protracted adaption phases. We are in the small minority, but nonetheless a well documented medical subset who need special help, guidance and care. I found this clinic and the superb Doctor who runs it, who has begun treatment (aka rehab) and I'm expecting excellent results based on what I've seen thus far. I will create an update in due course

I called North Tustin Optometric Center, and they were able to get us an appointment right away. The front desk stayed in touch with me until appointment day, and they took our insurance! Our appointments went smoothly, I liked that they gave us times for each back to back appointments, because the three of us were able to go in at our exact time. The whole staff and Dr. Hsieh made the testing very smooth, thorough, and enjoyable! Dr. Hsieh is knowledgeable and personable, as with her entire team. We were able to get our glasses and contacts quickly. Even after the appointments were done, the front desk still kept in touch and updated us about our eyewear status.
