    Messed up computer that to them was "fixed"

    Spent $811 for them to fix my laptop as the backlight was out. Picked it up today and my computer was messed up. Do they not test computers before they send them out the door? Ridiculous, just don't go to this location. Also the computer gets a pop ad that won't go away. Im so glad I dropped $800 for professionals to mess up my computer. Update: Went in this morning for the guy to tell me my computer has malware and that they don't even have my password, even though they do. This is a manager. Also I have never had an issue with "malware" specially not before taking my computer here. The manager also stated that the screen can glitch and that is totally normal. Which in my 4 years of owning my MacBook I have never had this issue. I can't stress this enough, just don't take your products here. Horrible service.

I brought in my laptop for a simple case/hinge repair. Everything still worked, the case was just cracked from overuse (no, I never dropped it). I paid them $200 for the parts and labor, and the laptop looked good when they handed it back to me. Unfortunately, I brought it home and noticed that the screen wouldn't turn on. I feel stupid for not turning it on in-store, but why would I assume I needed to? I brought it back in to them the next day and told them about the issue. They kept asking if I'd dropped it. They looked it over and admitted that they must have displaced something (broken it) during the case repair. I was under the impression that they wanted to make it right, so I was flexible and forgiving. To cut a very very long story short, I ended up driving back and forth to this place a total of nine times for a variety of reasons (they ordered the wrong part, the part was "dead on arrival," they were out of office for hours at a time, etc). In the end, they told me that more expensive parts would need replacing (i.e. I might as well buy a new computer). They did not offer to fix it or refund me. I was so frustrated I just walked out. Wish I had stood my ground and at least asked for a refund on the case. TLDR: my laptop worked before they touched it, and now it doesn't. Now I'm out $200 and I'm stuck with a broken laptop. Mathew seemed proud of his inane remark that they wouldn't be able to deliver anything without an address; he was utterly ignorant of why a customer might want to know what additional costs would be charged before handing over their personal information, and refused to give details on/an estimate of delivery and installation charges. In addition, no one ever came to help me in the appliance section though I waited for some time. Many staff members walked by without making eye contact, while joking with their coworkers.

I paid for an item that is incomplete. I will be reaching out to the BBB for further assistance. This store is three hours from my residence. FYI. Don't buy any open box items from this store.
