I was very pleased. My nails were a mess, it had been 7 weeks since they had been done . They were held on by glue. Gina did an amazing job. I love fun nails and she does too. Had a pedicure as well. I've booked my next 2 appointments. Being from LA area &the same nail girl for 25years I very spoiled and picky. Cathy also very nice and fun personality. We chatted while waiting for her client. The shop was clean, it's an older shop and not as fancy dancy as some but that isn't what's important. This the place for me. She scheduled me with Tyhler for a cut. I have really fine hair, but Tyhler gave me a great cut! I went back today to have her do my color. My hair looks the best it has in years! She listens to what you want, and makes sure she has 100% understanding about what you want before she even touches your hair. I really enjoyed my first trip to Simply Design Studio in Bend. As a first-timer I was apprehensive about trying yet another salon. The last one ruined my cut and color, which is especially horrible on long hair. I booked with Amber and found her to be easy to talk to. She spent the needed time listening to my concerns and then addressing them one by one. She is working with me now and in future visits to correct my hair issues. First impression will always be the last! I made an appointment with Amber (I think she's the owner of the hair studio) for a consultation. When I walked into her studio, she did not make eye contact and did not even smile, but some of the hairstylist said hello to me and they were pleasant. She knows that i have an appointment at 4:00 pm to see her. After a few minutes she asked me to sit and she looked at my hair and told me what she wanted to do with it and I made an appointment to see her after a few days. I thought at first that she was just shy. The day of my appointment came, I walked in, she was doing a client's hair. Mind you, I'm 5 minutes early. Her dog started barking so she knows that I'm there. Again, she did not make eye contact nor said hello, she just completely ignored me. One of the hair stylist ask me if I've been help and I said that I have an appointment with Amber. After 15 minutes of waiting, I just asked her if she wants me to come back and that was when she looked at me and said if I have some errands to do and to come back in 30 minutes. I told her that my appointment is at 11:30 and said that I'm not coming back. No apology whatsoever. To be an Owner of a Spa and doesn't know what customer service is all about, that is SAD! read more
