Yesterday my mom and I went to use our gift certificate for a salt float and we were greeted by a not overly friendly receptionist. We were almost charged $170 again for the service despite my mom insisting that we had already paid. The receptionist found that we did have a gift card and were good to go and even then was not super apologetic. The float experience was wonderful! However, my mom did find chunks of dirt or something else in her tub, although mine was perfectly clean. I showered directly after the float but am still finding salt in my ears, which still has water in it and has become painful. Overall the experience was slightly tainted by the service and the irritation afterward.

Despite my arriving 5 minutes early for my appt, Dr. Baker stood at her front desk doing notes 40 minutes into my scheduled appointment leaving me to just wait there as if my time was not as important as hers. During this time I also witnessed her belittling her front office staff which was deeply disturbing. When she finally called me back to a room she then only spent 25 minutes with me (despite advertising a 60 minute appointment) and simply took the time to input everything I had already written onto her intake form into her computer. No consultation was provided, no advice was given. This was a complete waste of time and money. Then to top it all off I have just received a bill from her - 10 months after my original appointment saying they could not bill my insurance because it is out of state. Whaaat!!!?? This is a national insurance company who's headquarters are in Portland. I received this bill on March 21 and then received a 2nd notice "past due" 2 weeks later. So she finds it acceptable to not bill me for 10 months for a visit that was useless and should be reported to her licensing board and then expects me to have a payment in the mail in under 2 weeks. I absolutely can only tell people to stay away from this terrible person, naturopath, and business owner.
