Had a facial that was ok but the esthetician told me to use toothpaste on my blemishes and only worked on my face, no neck or chest work. Also had a manicure and pedicure which consisted of soaking and paint. No cuticle work (even though I requested it), did not clean under the nails and did a poor job shaping the nails and polish looked like my daughter did it. Just enjoyed the whole package here and very pleased. Super nice people, Michelle did my mani pedi and was so sweet and really wanted to make sure it was perfect. I also had a massage and facial, which we're both very relaxing. This was not the best massage I've every had but I found the services to be well priced, with a very nice staff. This business is under new ownership as of June1, and boy am I glad that I went in. My regular person wasn't available to do my waxing, and so I called to see if they could accommodate me. Amy, the new owner is Wonderful, and she really knows what she is doing. I got my legs waxed and a pedicure, and my legs are really smooth. Her enthusiasm for her business is contagious, and she really knows what she is doing. I asked her if she took walk ins, and she said she did! This is great to hear, because my schedule makes it difficult to make appointments too far in advance. Please give her a shot, I think you will be pleased. read more

I went and had a facial a few weeks ago and I wanted to see how things went before writing a review. Overall, I was not impressed. Being new to town, I can expect to make these "poor" decisions. I got a nice facial and then got my lip and brows waxed- normally I don't break out after a wax, but this time- it was bad. I was not pleased with the overall outcome of the wax. The estetician didn't seem to be very knowlegable. Overall the session was ackward. I won't be back and it was pretty expensive. Updating my review. The owner of Face to Face Day Spa reached out to me, apologized for my wife's poor experience and offered to make things right. My wife gave them a chance to make up for her poor experience and she was very pleased with the response and service she received. Everyone makes mistakes, but it is how you respond to them that really matters. The owner at Face to Face Day Spa showed she cared and took action to make things right and that is to be commended. My wife will be back in the future. Old review: My wife had made an appointment with one of the hairstylists at her last appointment several weeks ago. She showed up today for her appointment and was told that the stylist no longer works there. She showed her appointment card and they said "The owner must not have looked at her future appointments.". My wife then asked if anyone was able to help her and she was told in a very condescending way "oh, no, not today". All they did was give her the stylists forwarding number, so apparently they no longer want her business as a customer. What is the point of making an appointment if when you show up the stylist is no longer there and no one else can help you? Very poor customer service and attitude. Needless to say, my wife will be looking for a new place. read more

My husband bought me "The Royal Spoil" spa package here for my birthday. Scheduling was super easy and staff very nice on the phone. I arrived and they were able to swap a service out for equal value so that was a relief. My massage was just ok... I'd hoped for and indicated I wanted a pretty deep pressure on my back and the therapist was obviously feeling under the weather so I just didn't get what I'd expected. I don't recall her name Bc she was so quiet when she introduced herself . Luckily my facial and pedicure were fantastic with Tara. She was polite and conversational making for a pleasant afternoon. She also did an amazing job on both my hydrating facial and reviving pedicure. I'd definitely come back for these services. read more

My husband had given me a gift certificate back in October to this spa, to goto after I recovered from my surgery. Well I had misplaced it , thankfully they had the info on the computer and I was still able to use it. I got a deep tissue massage, it was amazing. My sister, mother and I did the Royal Spoil while in town visiting. The front desk did a great job accommodating our multiple treatments into one afternoon. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. - The lady who did 2 of our nails really made the entire day for us. She was so funny and we left with a smile. Although the massage and facials were fine, the people giving them weren't nearly as entertaining or friendly as she was. read more

So sad to say this place was not good. Went in to get a pedicure....they told me they couldn't fit me in which I get I didn't have an appointment but they could not give me a recommendation at all. She went so far as to say there is a place in old mill but I would not recommend them at all. No help. I found crescent nails over by the old rays and am so happy! They were amazing! read more

No appointment - crisis mode after one shellac nail decided to pop off hours before I was heading to a family rehearsal dinner and wedding weekend. It was my fourth stop downtown, and on a day she wasn't even set to work, the owner's mom took me to a nail station and set me up with the closest matching color we could find. I have gone to face to face day spa quite a few times over the last year. I have had everything done from massages to a hair cut. I was very disappointed by the poor customer service today (and to be honest on a few other trips). My complain is not to the wonderful staff who provide the beauty services but to the horrible front desk (and sadly, my two complaints are against to differnent receptionists). On my first visit, the credit card machine wasn't working correctly. So after a day of pampering my friend and I had to wait for 20 minutes to run her credit card. That receptionist seemed quite flighty and unaware of what was going on. During the change of ownership I believe that she was let go, and I personally thought that this was a step in the right direction. However, it seems that the string of bad front desk staff just seems to continue. Today I called the salon to try to schedule a massage, my back was killing me and I was needing some tlc. So when I called in, I was place on hold. However, instead of actually being place on hold the phone seemed to simply be placed on the desk because I could hear the mufflings of conversation. The young woman (if I remember correctly was named Jody) must have forgot that I was on the phone because she didn't pick me up from "hold" for at least 5 minutes. She then proceeded to tell me that they were having issues with the credit card machine (With the continuous issues that they have with this machine I think it is time to get a new one). She told me that she would call me back when this whole mess was figured out, already soar and a little irritated I told her that I would go ahead and find another place to get a massage. What shocked me the most is that she said, okay sounds good. Seriously? So I did call another place to get a masage, and they did get my business. Sadly until this salon gets a new credit card machine and front desk, I don't think I will be going back. read more

We have a tradition of getting pedicures wile visiting Bend each spring break. We tried this place this year--a total bummer. It was the most expensive pedicure I've ever had ($50??) and was pretty quick work. Almost no massage and a mediocre job. For 50 bucks, I'd expect a thorough job and relaxing massage. Plus, there is no drier and no space to sit once your pedicure is finished. Won't be back. read more

Incredible deep-tissue massage & very nice staff but I had a horrible eyebrow wax. She ripped skin off & left my other eyebrow uneven & overly plucked. I called but I was bit shocked that no one returned the call with an apology. Seems strange, especially under new ownership & with plenty of local competition. I do see a number of poor reviews, which I cannot comment on, but will offer my personal experience during late August 2017 (perhaps there have been some changes). I dropped in to Face to Face Day Spa for a manicure and they were able to fit me in within an hour (a nice bonus but I realize not always possible). Very friendly and accommodating to this tourist. It is the best manicure I have ever had! I would recommend them to anyone based on my experience, and will say it is worth booking ahead for a manicure if you know you are heading to Bend -- I know I will be back during my next visit! I wouldn't recommend you waste money on an over priced massage that was just so so. I've had lots of massages and this was about the worst. Try another location in Bend. Can't speak to their other services. read more
