I emailed them for an appointment a while before we came to Sunriver and boy am I glad they did. We were able to pick the perfect time for me to take a break and get a hot stone massage. Prices were reasonable and the massage therapist is fantastic. They're easy to find it downtown Sunriver just across from the shopping all. The Decour is very peaceful and overall it was a lovely time to take a break and much more reasonable than going to Sunriver's resorts spa and with better service to boot! read more

I utilized Sunriver Massage on our golf vacation in Sunriver two weeks ago for a 90 minute massage. My massage therapist, Cindy, was outstanding. I get massages almost everywhere we go and at home on a regular basis. I have severe tension issues and am pretty particular about my therapist and his/her technique. I would rank the massage I received from Cindy in my top five ever. She has a unique blend of sensitivity, intelligence, and anatomical knowledge that makes her approach to massage extremely effective. I prefer a deep tissue massage and was at first a bit put off by her seemingly lack of pressure. However, what I eventually understood was that she was particularly accurate in finding the important affected muscle areas and working them from sore point through origins with the right amount of pressure. I am often sore the next day from a "deep tissue" massage. However, in this case, my tension was efficiently addressed and I was not in any discomfort the next day. The facility is clean and inviting. It is small, giving it a feeling of personal appointment/service without feeling like you are the only one there. My partner went with me for a shorter massage (60 minute). She is not usually anxious to get a massage, but found her therapist responsive to her needs and she left extremely satisfied with the attention and the quality of her massage as well. IN both cases, the prices were good and much more reasonable than the surrounding "resort" oriented facilities. I highly recommend Sunriver Massage. read more

Usually I look at all the reviews and take "with a grain of salt" both the really good reviews and the really bad reviews. I read Robert's review, but still decided to go ahead and give it a try. I am so glad I did. I know Massage Sunriver has a few therapists, and I received mine from Cindy. I have an extremely tight neck, and Cindy slowly and methodically stretched it and massaged away a lot of the tension before moving on to the rest of me. She was extremely professional and a great masseuse. I would definitely go back. If in doubt, request Cindy or if she isn't available, ask for her recommendation. I went online and left a message about getting a massage. That same evening I received a nice email saying we got your message and we will get back to you soon. Two days later, I called and got someone on the phone who was abuot to board a plane. Worst massage ever. Said my lower back needed attention, what did they do? Avoided my lower back. There was/is a knot in my left shoulder, what did they do? Find the knot and then move away. It was a couple massage and she felt the same way. We get massages often and this was by far the worst. They were nice and all but we didn't pay for nice, we paid for a massage and we didn't get one. I would have given it a two star but I don't want anyone to experience this huge disappointment. Skip the massage and wait to you get back home. read more

Being that there was 50+ mph winds on Mt. Bachelor yesterday, we decided not to brave it, and went for a massage instead. We tried out Massage Sunriver. It was a warm environment, friendly, and quiet. My massage was fantastic. I have a bit of a tight neck and shoulders and Cindy had the most intricate way to massage both small and large muscle groups...better than anyone I have gone to before. If she lived closer to me, I would go regularly. The only draw back would be if you wanted more amenities, but 5 stars for the massage. read more
