So sad...such close minds with such an expansive suggested vibe.
Corianne T.

I have been going to shibui spa since 2012. It has been a source of respite and relaxation. When I spoke on the phone this year however, shibui has gone super political. The reception has said "we have to wear masks...Unfortunately." when we asked if employees for facials were vaccinated, they said "my body my choice." It is super awkward and weird to have such an intimate setting with a giant buddha statue inside to be so self absorbed and non world conscious. Sadly will never be coming back. And wonder what the people of Thailand, Sri Llanka, and other Buddhist monks would think of this spa touting rhetoric while the people of those countries lie in severe danger without vaccine. :( Stuff I did not want to consider while relaxing at a spa.

What a wonderful spa experience! I was already relaxed and feeling great because Sisters is so beautiful and Five Pine Lodge is my favorite place to stay in the country, but the spa elevated that experience even more. The staff are great - both at the front desk and the masseuses. The ambiance is very chill, quiet, calming, and serene. The facilities and locker room were well stocked, clean, and spacious. My massage was a strong one but my back felt like a million bucks afterward. No complaints here. The pricing was what I would have expected, and fair for the service I received.

The magic greets you when you come through the door at Shibui.

Our cabin was beautiful, clean, cozy, comfortable and better than we were even expecting or hoping for. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, punctual, and accommodating. One of the things we appreciate the most is their attention to detail and the high quality products they provide you. For example, their soap is from the Bend Soap Company. Their coffee is from Sisters coffee. The syrups at the coffee bar are organic and high quality. The scones at the included breakfast are made fresh in house from scratch. Everything is top notch, high quality and you absolutely get what you pay for at this resort in the best way possible. The location is also 10/10. Somehow this place manages to be walking distance from Sisters yet still feels secluded. Overall FivePine was incredible, relaxing, serene and an overall amazing experience that we were sad to leave. We will absolutely be staying here again and ownership if you're reading this please don't change a thing, it's perfect!!!

I just had the most restorative and lovely three night stay here for a yoga retreat…read more Let me break it down: - fabulous spa on site that's reminiscent of a Japanese onsen (steam rooms, hot tub, the whole shebang). -access to the Sister Athletic Club next door that features an indoor pool, weight room and a variety of classes -emphasis on using local ingredients- I couldn't get enough of the local cardamom simple syrup with local coffee each morning (breakfast also includes oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, hard boiled eggs and local granola) -super clean and well appointed cabins amongst the pines -a hiking trail behind the property that connects to other trails -walkable to downtown Sisters - they also have complimentary bikes -nightly complimentary wine and beer (some of the best Pinot I've ever had) The minute I stepped out of the taxi, I could smell the Pines. This place is magical, ya'll.
