Best massage ever! Friendly people in a very clean environment. I can't wait to go back!

After a few days of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, three very tired and trail-worn friends wandered into this place -- and walked out feeling like new people. We all agreed: this was hands-down the best 90-minute massage of our lives. Every detail was perfect -- from the warm welcome at the front desk to the soothing atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. Each therapist seemed to intuitively know exactly what our sore, tight muscles needed after carrying heavy packs and trekking mile after mile. They worked out the knots, melted away the tension, and left us feeling restored, relaxed, and ready for the next adventure. We've all had massages before, but this experience was on another level. If you're a hiker, traveler, or just someone in need of true body care, do yourself a favor and book a session here. We'd give it more than five stars if we could! Also? I had a 30 min chair massage to relieve a horrible kink in my neck. My masseuse was amazing and very kind! She helped relieve the pain and gave me a wonderfully relaxing massage. I will be back and booked my husband a massage as well. Great ambiance when you walk in and very clean! The most intense massage I have ever gotten. I've had a few massages before but none like this. You do the norm, get undressed to your level laydown and they go to work. She didn't ask where I needed work. She found the spots and got rid of the tight muscles. I will say if you are not use to massages get a light one. I got medium pressure and omg, I did have red marks for a day or two after. This is not to say it wasted a great massage. She got out pain I've had in one of my shoulders that PT wasn't helping. The staff was super nice, and gave us much needed water after. I would totally go again! One note: the rooms are very dark, if you have issues with low lighting. read more

This was my second time in, and like most the other reviews, they just get down to business! Both times were good, this one was the better massage, good enough for me to get on and give a review. I did not find it was too hard at all (as some of the other reviews said) and I asked for a hard when they asked if I wanted soft/medium/hard. Very kind and fun people. Will be back. read more

After spending our vacation hiking, white water rafting and horseback riding, a massage was definitely much needed. My husband and I were eager to get the 90 minute massage. Their prices at May Spa were so reasonable, we paid $115 each for 90 minutes. That's such a steal when other places are charging $120 for only 50mins. But if you're looking for a fancy schmancy day spa, lower your expectations when coming here. This place is more about working your body to get all the knots out rather than creating a relaxing space. It's definitely hard to let your mind wander and relax when you can hear everything behind the walls of your room. Also, if you're not a fan of being exposed, let your masseuse know beforehand to not lower the blanket down to where you are least comfortable. I usually wear underwear when I get massages but I might as well have been naked because my masseuse pulled them down almost half way to get to the very lower part of my back. Personally, I don't really care about having my butt out. If you do, definitely speak up. With all that being said, my husband and I had one of the best massages of our lives here. He got a stepping massage that he thought was excellent. He said his masseuse targeted all the problem areas he asked her to focus on. I opted for a pretty standard full body massage with medium to hard pressure. It was fantastic. I woke up this morning feeling less sore after all the physical activities of our trip. My favorite part of the massage was actually the facial and scalp massage. It was so relaxing. I would definitely choose May Spa over any fancy day spas. One of the best massages I have had! We walked in to a cute waiting room. Everything was VERY clean. There is a separate section for foot massages and a few rooms for full body. I did the 90 minute combo massage. My masseuse listened and excited a medium firm pressure. Will be back. read more

I experienced the one-hour, full body massage, and it was wonderful. You can count on this being a deep tissue massage. I have shoulder knots that were more relaxed after the massage. My LMT found additional muscles in my calves I didn't know were sore and worked them to relaxation. You'll get the full treatment including dry massage, hot oil massage, and hot stone massage, with a focus on your backside. May Spa charges a credit card fee which is reasonable, and some of the staff are limited in their English skills, but still competent and professional. read more

Absolutely amazing. I did a walk in 30 minute chair massage for 37$ just to try them out. They got me right in and the masseuse went to work immediately. Not one second of the 30 minutes was wasted and I feel better than when I've gotten traditional hour massages. She used so many techniques that I didn't expect since I was only doing 30 minutes. I feel like I got lymphatic drainage, reflexology, deep tissue, and stretching all in one although she never named what she was doing just went about it. Totally recommend. I tried two massage different spots during my week-long stay in Bend. Both were highly-rated on Yelp, but May Spa was far superior. My friend and I were Friday afternoon walk-ins, and they took us right away. We opted for the foot reflexology massage. The facility and foot spa room was quiet, clean, and the chairs were very comfy. We had Candy and Pam and were happy with the skill/quality of the foot massage. I received tremendous relief from TMJ after a 90 min massage with Eva. She was very persistent, gentle but very firm working out the knots in my neck and jaw. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his deep tissue massage Hot stones (part of their regular massage) are his favorite part. read more

I came in for my first time and it was amazing. I am a potter and practice about 3-5 hours every day hunched over, and my neck and shoulders feel it!! I recently got back home (to Bend) from visiting Austin where I had such a great experience at a traditional Chinese massage parlor. I was wondering if Bend had anything similar, and came across this place. I was SO impressed and already made an appt to return. I did the 60 minute full body, but they have so many options! I called at 6:30pm and they accommodated me for a 7pm appointment. I had a man for a massage and he was very good. He spent most of the 60 minutes on my back but it was very extensive. There were some hot stones half way through. It was a very relaxing massage. The only thing I would complain about is that I got charged $77 when later I saw their pricing was $75. After a massage you feel pretty out of it and I just paid it but after the fact I found out they charged me $2 more, which is very strange.
