They combine Western and Chinese techniques in a way that feels both physically therapeutic and relaxing. I got the "30 Min Foot Massage + 30 Min Back Massage + Hot Stone" package from ClassPass. The session included: - Good pressure along all my muscle tissue (and they double-passed each body part ). - Targeted stretching for the hips and shoulders. - Full scalp and face massage (even my jaw, which has been clenching lately). - Optional hot stones at good temp. - A wipe-down of all oils at the end. Every moment felt intentional and customized to what my body actually needed. I've never been a regular at massage places in North America. Most feel like soft (sometimes painful) assembly-line treatments where you don't feel truly refreshed at the end. But Jing and her team treat you with care, skill, and attention. I felt seen, relaxed, and restored. Note: Entrance is from main road front of building. You can either park in the lot, go the first floor stairs and exit to re-enter into Summit Spa, or walk around the sidewalk.

We all agreed: this was hands-down the best 90-minute massage of our lives. Every detail was perfect -- from the warm welcome at the front desk to the soothing atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. Each therapist seemed to intuitively know exactly what our sore, tight muscles needed after carrying heavy packs and trekking mile after mile. They worked out the knots, melted away the tension, and left us feeling restored, relaxed, and ready for the next adventure. We've all had massages before, but this experience was on another level. If you're a hiker, traveler, or just someone in need of true body care, do yourself a favor and book a session here. We'd give it more than five stars if we could! Also? It was totally without intent that I booked with Susan, but so very pleased that I did. Her work is quite frankly exceptional. I went with a specific issue, gave Susan my history, information from my doctor and she got to work. I was so impressed with my initial visit that I booked another appointment for two weeks later. Since then, I have been going every other week, my doctor has seen a noticeable difference in my condition. Thrilled that Susan listened and had the expertise to help. Clearly her education and experience go beyond what one might consider in a traditional masseuse. It's interesting as the patient, to tell her what's going on, see how she approaches the situation and works the problem. She totally gets how everything is totally interrelated. She has been totally engaged in tracking my progress and receiving the feedback from my doctor. Office is clean, bright, COVID friendly and I am always seen on time.

As someone who's received rolfing for close to 30 years, this form of myofascial release massage was a wonderful blend of rolfing and massage. I could feel my fascia release several times throughout the massage and I'm excited to regularly incorporate this type of therapy into my massage treatments! I also saw Isata recently for a craniosacral massage and it was also amazing! It was so good that while I was on the table I thought to myself I must have paid for a 90 minute massage because it felt like I had been there for that long, but it was only 60 minutes! Lol. I've been struggling with neck and head tension that's affecting cranial nerves and this massage definitely helped. Headed back this weekend for a follow up! 2023: I went to see Sam when I was having serious shoulder and neck tightness that was causing tension headaches. She was great! She used the perfect amount of pressure and deep tissue therapy while also not making it too painful. A skill that is sometimes hard to come by. She is one of the better massage therapists I've seen in my 25 years of getting regular massage. I was stunned to learn she's only been doing massage for a couple years. A true intuitive natural body worker!! I'll definitely being seeing her again!

But I had to get on here and leave a good review because of my experience with the staff at Anjou Spa. We were on our way to Bend from California early Saturday morning and 2 hours into our drive we hit a deer that ran right front of us at 70+ mph totaling out car. After making sure everyone was ok and we contacted insurance and tow company one of the first things I thought of was the air bnb and massages at a spa we booked and paid for. I also work as a cosmetologist at a salon and spa so I immediately wanted to let the spa know we weren't gonna be able to make it as soon as possible. The reception Was very understanding and checked to make sure we were all ok and apologized that it happened to us and so graciously (without argument ) refunded our "non refundable" deposit. They definitely did NOT have to do that as i agreed to the deposit and the salons terms and completely understand since I am I service provider myself who works at a salon that also enforces a cancellation policy. Their compassion for our situation was truly amazing and I am very grateful for their understanding and willingness to refund our deposit making our situation a little less painful.. I will absolutely be happy to book With them again in the near future when we can finally make it to bend. Top tier customer service and we are so appreciative. Thank you Anjou Spa! See you soon
