The clinic is very nice, clean, and easy to locate. All of the equipment is also top notch. This is a very small business being run by a husband and wife team so they are very attentive and willing to walk you through the whole process. Cryotherapy is a really interesting form of therapy. I did it for the first time with low expectations. I think I'll have to try it a few more times to see if it actually works for me and my specific injuries. I also tried Normatec compression therapy which was also a first and seems affective. If you have pain or are a high level athlete you should give it a try. It's really neat and worst case scenario you'll have a cool story.

I absolutely LOVE this place. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable! They have amazing memberships as well at very reasonable prices and after trying them I signed up. They offer a variety of service and I can't wait to come back for a b-12 injection and to utilize the rest of the available options. If you have never tried cryo, this is the place to stay, and if you have, you'll love it!

I came here for an infrared sauna session and Garrett and Rachel were super friendly and helpful. The place was clean and had a very relaxing vibe. I had a wonderful experience here and I will definitely be visiting again.

So excited to see Cryotherapy make its way to Bend, Oregon! This was our first time trying Cryotherapy, and to say we loved it is an understatement. All around an amazing experience! The office is clean and cozy. Garret and Rachel were very professional and knowledgeable about all the benefits of cryotherapy. We loved the cute slipper options to wear. We look forward to making this a monthly thing because we love working out regularly and we really felt a difference after our appointment! Thank you Rachel and Garret for the first of many cryotherapy sessions! We look forward to doing it again next month!!

Great staff and the offerings are varied and easy to do. Highly recommend cryotherapy and the PEMF bed.

Poor communication on monthly agreements and overcharges. There was no accountability as the owner blamed it on his staff.

This gym is basically a daycare center mixed with an old people's home. They are always having events and closing the pools. They close early without notice and the hours here are horrible. There are homeless people lurking in the parking lots and come into use the facilities. Things get stolen as well. I cannot wait for there to be real adult fitness club in bend. Go at least ten min early though it fills up. I like the home made granola bars at the desk snacks. Also the lap swim is great. Both 25 and 50 meters. I think 25 is easier and allows more swimmers to have their own lanes but they switch it up. I'm thin and the outdoor pool is a few degrees too cold for me. I'm uploading pictures of the indoor pools only which are great temperatures.

While I consider the ability to travel a great blessing, I have to admit that certain complications…read moretypically ensue from being away from home. One of those challenges can be how to continue your workout routine when on the road. While I don't have specific recommendations for how to alleviate this situation in all cities, I can certainly provide some assistance when it comes to Bend, Oregon. The Athletic Club of Bend offers numerous opportunities for you to get that workout in when you're in town for a visit. Their amenities include 7 indoor tennis courts, an indoor running track, indoor and outdoor pools, a large spa, cardio equipment, weight room, a full basketball court, and 4 racquetball/squash courts. While those amenities don't necessarily make this place unique, there are two characteristics that do set this place apart. First, they openly accept visitors to the club. Many clubs are very closed minded about this, but not so here. Sure, you'll have to pay a guest fee, but it was very reasonable. Second, I found the members here to be genuinely welcoming. I chose to utilize the club for some tennis and I felt immediately accepted by a group of members who have a standing weekly match. After just 2 hours together I felt like a part of the group and left with names and phone numbers for the next time that I visit Bend. Sure, you can come up with an excuse to not workout while in Bend, but that excuse can't be that there's no facilities that you have access to or there are no friendly people here to connect with. And that's...Henry's Take. #bendexcercise #bendtennis #bendgym

She did a fine job, but left out some steps (like the add-on that I paid for online before the appointment and the hand and arm massage). I have a feeling she ran out of time. But when I signed up for the facial online, it was allotted for an hour and a half. But she finished in an hour. When I asked her about the add-on, she was unaware of it and admitted that she "did not check (her) notes" before my appointment. That is probably something I wouldn't admit to the client. And I found it odd that I filled out an intake form online and then had to fill out another (paper) intake upon arrival. And while the esthetician did an ok job, she needs to finesse her massage technique. I am former licensed massage therapist and wanted to coach her on some simple and effective massage techniques. Her massage strokes were incomplete and her hands felt a little clumsy. But I feel she will get there, in time, as she gains more confidence with each client. Otherwise, it's a peaceful and well-curated space - a lovely oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Bend. I will definitely be back for the Japanese scalp treatment!

I love the bunk+brew but this time it wasn't one the best stays. I wonder what has changed recently? I hope to stay again so I'm calling forward some of the bigger things that made this experience different than others. The general spaces felt dirty. Not how I would ever welcome guests into my own home. A few examples; I went around and put dirty dishes left out by others throughout the night in the sink. The outside bathroom was out of toilet paper with no restock available. Seeing as the bathroom trash had been left overflowing for the 2 days I was there I took it upon myself to bring 2 rolls of toilet paper out there so others didn't have to encounter that same dilemma. I went to bed around 11:30 and left my food that I purchased from the food cart in the fridge. IT WAS STOLEN! I couldn't believe it even after writing my name and a date on it. I've never had that experience before. One thing that I felt was really not aligned with bunk+brew was a conversation I overheard between staff. They said " I don't like gay people". This made me feel really yucky hearing such outright homophobia that I had to excuse myself from that space. I know change isn't possible if the issues are not addressed. Bunk+brew has been a safe place in the past for me while out traveling. I hope others can feel that way.
