I've often ended up with hair shorter than I wanted in the past, but Dani really listened to what I was asking for. She delivered a beautiful long, layered cut that felt true to my goals while still giving my hair shape and movement. Even weeks later, I'm still loving it and constantly happy with how it looks. The atmosphere in the shop is calm and relaxing, which really sets the tone for a comfortable, easy, and unhurried experience. I'm already looking forward to going back to her for future services.

I went to Lemon Drop Salon with a very specific inspiration photo and had already discussed the…read morelook with my stylist, Josie, during a consultation. I wanted a short silver pixie with visible dimension and texture, and I was very clear that I was comfortable with having more hair cut off. I paid about $300, but unfortunately the result did not resemble what I had asked for enough for me to feel satisfied with either the color or the cut. The color came out much flatter and grayer than the dimensional silver look in my reference photo, and the haircut was much more conservative than I expected. What disappointed me most was the salon's response when I contacted them afterward. I was told that my hair was already very similar to the inspiration photo, that highlights could not be done because my hair was too short, and that once my natural color grew in I would have the "exact look." That explanation did not match what I was seeing in the mirror, and it also left me wondering why those limitations were not discussed clearly before the service was performed and charged at that price. I understand that inspiration photos are not guarantees and that every person's hair is different. I did not expect a carbon copy. I did expect the consultation to result in a shared understanding of what was realistically achievable before a $300 service began. I will be going elsewhere to have the cut and color corrected.

Stylist took 1.5 hour to put in foils for low light - not a big complicated ask and some of them were so bleached, the toner couldn't correct, I had to ask for them to do another full round of toner. By 3.5 hours I didn't have a hair cut, conditioner or blow out. I asked for roots, lowlights and toner. For a "high brow" space, do not put a single dollar here. I'm a local and I have shamelessly tried it twice shame on me to try them again.

After multiple rounds of bleach/foils/color my hair is healthier than it was before! Erin took the time to really understand what I was looking for, and she delivered on beautiful color.
