As you can imagine, my hair had become pretty funky alright. I picked Juliana through a Yelp search of Bend hair salons. I read her reviews (which are all positive), looked at her client photos, and confidently booked an appointment, knowing she was going to be great--- BEST CHOICE EVER!! I was looking for someone who had some edge about them, you know, not afraid to think outside the box. Her and I seemed to hit it off instantly. Her personality along with her amazing cutting skills melded perfectly for one awesome salon experience. We easily joked about how good of a hair cutter I have become~~~ haha!! I also understand that there is a time and a place to take a hard line and when to compromise. Megan Sedres chose wrong...hence, you chose wrong. Your response shows a lack of understanding as to the situation and its tenets. I could agree with it for most people but I know my wife and so do many other people in this area. You didn't do your due diligence to contact her before (reminder call/text) or during her missed appt time. If it is a 3-hour block there was plenty of time for you all to reach out but you didn't. With regard to charging people X% of their expected service for a missed appt, that's a whole different discussion altogether. Make a policy that you all will call/message people a day prior as a 'courtesy' to remind them of their appt otherwise you will be forced to charge them a % of your over-priced services. We will happily take our business elsewhere and not direct business in your direction. Again, it was Megan Sedres' approach as well as yours that is so off-putting.
