Very nice but I noticed I had to point out extra cuticle that wasn't cut, and areas of nail not painted. She was nice, but within 24 hours the nail started to chip. I also was a little overwhelmed that as I was walking in (three min past appt time) I was already getting a phone call reminder about my appointment. I understand I was three minutes late, but maybe when getting booking confirmations, there should be a notice about arriving 15 minutes early or the booking window maybe include a small grace period. I noticed the phone call was made to several other customers who are also on their way in. I would go back and overall would give 4.5 stars if I could.

They do charge you extra if you don't bring your own files...it's an Oregon law to help things stay clean. Vibe is standard-long and narrow space. Location was downtown so it was convenient to shop around afterwards.

First, the space is beautiful, it's comfortable and not the "hip sterile environment" that a lot of spas go for (don't get me wrong, it's incredibly clean!). Both ladies were very kind and welcoming as soon as I walked in the door. Jill was very attentive and her bubbly personality is sincere and is so refreshing. I had a deluxe facial and loved every minute! This is by far the best facial I've had! I was so relaxed I could hardly believe it. Her technique is on point and the products she used left my skin feeling and looking amazingly fresh. I will definitely be coming in for regular facials! Thank you Jill!

I have struggled to find someone in Bend that does Brazilian's, and does them well. I'm happy to…read moresay, the search has ended. Thank you, thank you, Jill!! I've moved around a great deal and have always utilized this type of service. Thus, I've had plenty of experience (sugar, hard, cloth strips, tweezing...all that fun stuff). It seems that most of those "waxing" in Bend, use hard wax versus wax with cloth strips. The end result (in my experience) has been it takes longer (one must wait for the wax to harden), it leaves more wax residue (ugh...), it doesn't pull out the hair as well (I was told it works better for those "hard to get" areas...meh!), and really isn't any more comfortable (I've been told it's not supposed to hurt as much...there's just no getting past that part). Luckily, Jill uses cloth strips (what I'm used to, and has always seemed to work the best) and I must say....there was not one bit of waxy residue and there wasn't a single stray hair to be found. I was in and out in a jiffy and couldn't be happier. I can't recommend Jill highly enough! If a Brazilian is what you're looking for...well....this is the place!

I feel like my nails are still looking "fresh". The appointment process on their website was so easy and I actually prefer this method. I absolutely hate making phone calls. I just ended up getting cash for tip for the day of. The location is fairly easy to find with GPS even though I drove past it and has to make a u-turn but that was my fault for not paying attention. I went to Lemon Drop Salon with a very specific inspiration photo and had already discussed the…read morelook with my stylist, Josie, during a consultation. I wanted a short silver pixie with visible dimension and texture, and I was very clear that I was comfortable with having more hair cut off. I paid about $300, but unfortunately the result did not resemble what I had asked for enough for me to feel satisfied with either the color or the cut. The color came out much flatter and grayer than the dimensional silver look in my reference photo, and the haircut was much more conservative than I expected. What disappointed me most was the salon's response when I contacted them afterward. I was told that my hair was already very similar to the inspiration photo, that highlights could not be done because my hair was too short, and that once my natural color grew in I would have the "exact look." That explanation did not match what I was seeing in the mirror, and it also left me wondering why those limitations were not discussed clearly before the service was performed and charged at that price. I understand that inspiration photos are not guarantees and that every person's hair is different. I did not expect a carbon copy. I did expect the consultation to result in a shared understanding of what was realistically achievable before a $300 service began. I will be going elsewhere to have the cut and color corrected.
