I'm an OG at Lush Salon, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's hands down the most welcoming and beautiful salon in town. Courtney, the owner, has been doing an incredible job with my hair for the past 15 years, and now my older daughter goes to her as well and is learning from her. Made an appointment for my hair and twice the stylist cancelled on me within an hr of my appointment. She would message me and then not respond for days and then Stated that she no longer felt comfortable doing my hair because she felt it would pull too warm? I went back and forth on whether I would write a review but maybe it will help someone avoid the troubles I dealt with. Anna did a good job with my hair the first time, although very hit or miss with her responses she got me rescheduled for 6 weeks out only to cancel one hour before my appointment. No big deal - things happen and I understand life can get busy. She rescheduled me for a couple days later to then cancel on me one hour before again and completely ignore me after. Very disappointed in the unprofessionalism since this affected me shifting my work schedule around twice in one week. I've never had a stylist disrespect my time or feelings like this and wouldn't recommend wasting your time. read more

Inexperienced colorist and stylist the salon owners hire students right from beauty school who have very little "hands on" experience or knowledge. The person who colored, cut my hair TRASHED my hair after 6 months. Know what you're getting into, I would NEVER recommend this place. read more

By far the best salon in Central Oregon and beyond! I've been a client at Lush Salon for 6 years and could not be happier. The new location now also offers more services, which I love! I'm able to get my hair, lashes, and nails all taken care of in one place by a top tier team. I love the salon atmosphere, it's gorgeous! I have been seeing Bre for my hair needs for about 2 and a half years now, I live in Portland but will head over the mountains a few times a year for her! She is so fantastic and intuitive about what will look good on me! I have had so much trouble finding a good stylist since my hair is so thick and there is so much of it but Bre listened to exactly what I needed and set aside extra time for me, I always felt rushed when I was getting my hair done but not at Lush! Bre not only cuts and colors my hair she also did mine and all my bridesmaids hair for my wedding and my best friend sees her too. I recommend her to everyone I know. I had a terrible experience here. First, their location is wrong on google maps. Google took me to their former location from a year and a half ago. I called them 5 times to find out where they were located, over an hours time, and no answer to the call or return call from voicemail. I finally found the place after 45 minutes of driving and walking. Their sign reads "Cush" more than it does "Lush", so that threw me off a bit..I stood there 3-4 minuets before anyone even made eye contact with me. I made my appt a week ago. But somehow they've never heard of me. I was told their waxing person "was not familiar with my appointment ". When I asked what about my cut and color, she said flatly, "everyone is busy". No offer to reschedule me. No apology for wasting my time and stressing me out because they can't keep their location accurate on line. So I went to the salon at their former location and got what I needed, as a walk-in (Lush does not take walk ins) I give a two thumbs down review if this place on every facet of my experience. They were snarky and snooty and elitist. I felt belittled and unworthy after my experience with Lush. Very disappointed. read more

I am newer to Bend and have been looking for a salon. We were on our way to Aspect today (Friday afternoon), so thought this would be the perfect opportunity to take a peek. For once we were in the neighborhood when the salon looked open and buzzing. A client had just walked out with her new do and we could see another inside, so we went to pull the door open and it was locked. Bummer... And it wasn't near the reported closing time on Yelp, Lush's website or even very late in the day. What was even more sad was that no one even looked over though the glass or anything... They just kept chatting. Obviously someone trying to open the door would be doing so either because they have an appointment or would like to learn more. Too bad Lush is no longer on my list of prospects for my new Bend hair salon. Hope others have better luck and definitely call first because this place never looks like it's open. Cheers! read more

I received several certificates through a charity fundraiser. These had been donated several months in advance, and they expired soon after I received them. I realized this just a day or two in advance and immediately called all three stylists in an attempt to get in with one or even extend the date of expiration. Not a single one had the courtesy to return the calls. I suspect when they heard the certificates were expiring soon, they saw free money and weren't at all interested in communicating with me, not even to apologize for being unable to help. With customer service so bad that three out of three stylists would not make a courtesy call in regards to a commitment made in their name to a fundraiser, I have to say these are rude and even dishonest people. Can they cut hair? Maybe, but after spending $225, I still don't know. read more
