He finally tried to set up an appointment in my old house in Fresno...where I have never had their service. I asked to speak to a supervisor, got a guy who could not speak English. They refused to refund any of the time when the service didn't work. But what my biggest beef with them was is that they continued to bill me, stating that it took 60 days to cancel the account, and I had to continue to pay another two months, even through my service didn't work. I called them and went in circles for an hour and a half, but got nowhere. TL;DR: Look elsewhere for an alarm service.

They scheduled me for today and to my surprise, the tech was late about 30 minutes. David, the tech, was red and sweating profusely. I could tell he had just come from a job and was busting his behind. He apologized several times which I accepted and was very helpful. He found a solution to the problem that did not require replacing the lock which saved me a few bucks. Honesty is hard to find... unfortunately, so I truly appreciated it. He double checked the lock worked and was just a nice guy with well developed customer service skills. Please don't sign a contract with them, find a pay as you go provide --UPDATE--- A rep gave me a call and was able to let me buy out of the contract if I paid about 30% of the remaining balance which isn't cheap but it is a lot less than I would have paid over the next couple years.
