Acia Bowl with coconut and goji berries
    Jordan A.

Açaí bowl was so good. "Dry fruit" means nuts so just a warning as it was not labeled on their menu and I am allergic to walnuts and had to send back my bowl originally. But the bowl was amazing still!! The vanilla latte was also so good. Staff was quick and the establishment is so cute. So many gluten free options as well

Torta (orange & almond) + cappuccino = really good

I passed by this cafe and liked the cozy vibe! Stopped for a coffee to go but saw they have Torta (orange and almond) and I stayed! And I'm glad I did...it was perfect!

This restaurant has two parts two it - pizza and other dishes. If you want pizza from the wood fire oven, then it's separate seating. We were seated almost immediately and given a menu to order. Honestly I felt a bit rushed and pressured to decide if we wanted to eat here and get a table. But as soon as we got a table, no one was interested in taking our order. I had to flag down a waitress and finally put in an order. We got one pizza to share (Which apparently is taboo in Italy but whatever). We ended up getting the eggplant pizza which was honestly quite good. The people next to us got tiramisu and but they weren't to impressed with it when I asked them. The waiters were kind enough to let us try some times of olive oil they had - there was a spicy once I loved but unfortunately we couldn't purchase it. At the end, we noticed a cover charge on the bill and asked about it - at which point the waitress got extremely irritated and told us - this is a cover charge, its normally for every food place in Italy, you have to pay it, there's nothing we can do about it. I'm aware of a cover charge but also aware that they are supposed to inform us about it - I told her as such and she pointed out the extremely fine print at the bottom of the back side of the menu. We were fine to pay it but didn't like how irritated she got and the deception of hiding the cover charge in fine print. Also just the overall rush with how they wanted us seated and wouldn't give us a minute to decide if we actually wanted to eat there or not. The food was really good but the service could have been much better.

    Vegetables Pizza

Super good! This restaurant has so many options. From a cafe with healthy breakfast/brunch options, to lunch with charcuterie boards, pastas, etc, to a pizzeria! I got the vegetables pizza with tomato, mozzarella, eggplant, zucchini, olives, and mushrooms and it was SO GOOD. Also very reasonably priced (€10)! I got it to-go on my way home and it was ready in less than 10 minutes after ordering. The staff was super nice, friendly, and organized/efficient with takeaway orders. I would definitely try more of their pizzas as well as their full restaurant for pasta and other dishes!

Stopped into SimBIOsi on a late evening around 8-9 pm, was recommended to us by our hotel! Also, it was one of the few restaurants that wasnt booked up that we wanted to eat at. We were able to sit right away. Had a cute little table facing the street looking through some opened doors. They were out of the ravioli which was disappointing, but we tried some other dishes. Everything was made fresh to order and all their pasta was hand made. The stress fresh local ingredients and being environmentally Friendly! The food was good!! At the end of the meal they even gave us a little bag os pasta to try and make at home!

Delicimoso! Very accommodating staff, conveniently a 10 minute walk from the duomo, they were so gracious to seat our large and flamboyantly American group of 10. Wonderful ambiance, not a scrap of za remained on the table!

We stayed close by this cafe when staying in Florence and was our go-to spot for a quick cappuccino in the morning. They open at 8am and we were there most times right after they opened before heading off to tours or sightseeing. This was one of my favorite cappuccinos I had on the trip! They had an assortment of pastries that looked amazing. Great little cafe in Florence walking distance to the Duomo!

Trendy place to have brunch. Everything was delicious and the service kind. Retuning soon.

Absolutely delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere. We sat at the restaurant site we did order lamb and veal, and it was amazing!

    Very nice wine.

Not too happy. They should specify in their website menu as well as in the regular menu. I was looking for a pizza with figs and truffles which they have in the menu. Given that this is Florence, I was EXPECTING fresh fig fruit (not jam), and fresh truffles (not sauce). Needless to say I ordered a regular cheese pizza with the truffle sauce (oh well). The pizza was ok. I mean, compared to USA it was excellent. Compared to other places I have eaten in Perugia and Florence, it was underwhelming. Service was ok. I've been treated better with more attention at other places.

This place looks good and busy as you walk by, and while the ambiance is certainly nice, save yourself some time and money because this place is not worth it. The portions are small, the pasta is hard (al dente has its limits), the sauce was oddly sweet (fantasia), and the service was a bit pushy and neglectful. I'm sure you can find a better restaurant close by.

Our first dinner in Florence and it was delicious! Just doors down from our Airbnb and it was our good fortune to try because the organic pizza here was amazing! There were 7 of us and we tried 4 of their pizzas- so yummy! Our waitress was sweet and attentive. They checked on us a few times which showed great customer service. It isn't always easy seating a group as big as ours but we were very comfortable. If you're on Via de Ginori, I hope you stumble upon this restaurant, too!

This place was below average pizza. I didn't know it was one chain made of three different restaurants next to each other, one is a cafè, one is just for pizza, and the other is for pasta and meat. The service was fine but you can definitely get much better pizza in Florence for cheaper.

The owner and staff were fantastic, very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. The wine bar itself is a small quaint little place. Probably seats about 12 to 15 people total and has plenty of windows so you can see passersby and people watch. The cheeseboard? Get the cheeseboard. They do a fantastic job of pairing everything together to really bring so many flavors to your tastebuds. Their house wine is phenomenal and they take great pride in finding the grapes/different varietals to make it come to life. They have a both a red and a white house wine option. The second time we went - and yes, we went more than once in the four days we were there - we enjoyed one of the sandwiches and it was absolutely amazing. The bread, I can't even explain, the bread it's so flavorful and so good and so light. That paired with the delicious meats and cheeses were 100% worth it. I definitely recommend this location to anybody who is visiting Florence regularly or for their first time.

November 9, 2024 2:30PM…read more It does appear they have two stalls on the same street that you can order from. One side seemed to have more alcohol on display and the side I was on was more sandwich focused, but I'm pretty sure you can order the same things from both windows. Initially I was going to get the 21 - Fresh Sausage and Eggplant because I'm an eggplant lover... the lady at the counter was kind enough to let me know that the fresh sausage is actually rare, uncooked sausage and gave me a small piece to try. I was getting ready to get on a train that day and didn't want something that might not sit well with me, so I moved on to number 27 spicy salami and cream cheese. My partner got the number 1, ham, cream cheese and rocket salad. Both are very good sized and oh so delicious. The line moved quickly, so many options for decision paralysis. This is the place for schiacciate Florentine as recommended from friends who used to live here. Definitely would recommend to study up their menu before coming so it's easier to pick what you want. This is more of a stall and you grab and go, we stood around the sidewalk and inhaled our sandwiches. Watch out for the pigeons getting ready to take your crumbs too, you can see them on the ledge of the building getting ready to attack. A must visit for Florence.
