They do a fantastic job of pairing everything together to really bring so many flavors to your tastebuds. Their house wine is phenomenal and they take great pride in finding the grapes/different varietals to make it come to life. They have a both a red and a white house wine option. The second time we went - and yes, we went more than once in the four days we were there - we enjoyed one of the sandwiches and it was absolutely amazing. The bread, I can't even explain, the bread it's so flavorful and so good and so light. That paired with the delicious meats and cheeses were 100% worth it. A taste of the states in Florence, Italy…read more Believe it or not, when you're traveling in Italy for 12 days and pretty much only drinking prosecco and aperol spritz's this was a WELCOME change of pace. P.S. if you didn't know, cocktail culture in Italy is not a thing. This was one of the ONLY cocktail bars we stumbled upon during our trip and the atmosphere brought us in from the street. The atmosphere is hipster, retro, memorable and fun! The cocktail list is TO DIE FOR. The owner who was serving us, spent two years in the states mastering the art to bring it back. The list was super creative and well balanced for the season and heat. I opted for a cocktail with fresh squeed Grapefruit, Gin, fresh JUNIPER BERRIES, rosemary and elderflower tonic. It was served in a giant wine glass with ice and they give you the tonic on the side so you can make it as strong as you want. I thought this presentation was lovely, whimsical and fun. The cocktail was one of the best I've ever had and that is saying A LOT. Since I've been back I cannot stop thinking about it. For my second I got a blackberry, sage drink. It was good, but not nearly as memorable as the first. The hubs got an aperol spritz again, and to finish we got some sparkling rose - perfect for a hot night. It is exactly what I like to have in a comfortable coffee shop... a lot of eclectic decorations, comfortable furniture and variety of places to sit. It has a lot of windows for sunlight and a second floor for those who like to enjoy a loft-like experience. My wife and I had cappuccino's and pastries, both were great. You get a prepaid card, anything from 5 euros up to 50 (may go higher, but I didn't ask), or you can leave your credit card with the staff upfront and pay at the end. They have several wine 'vending machines' that you stick the card into and get to try out the wine in various amounts. You can have a sample, half glass, or full glass. The screens will tell you how much each sample will cost. Each 'Vending Machine' is sorted into categories like bubbles, whites, reds, dessert wine, etc. It's a great way to try different wines in various regions! If you like the wine you try, you can buy the bottle to take home.They have big leather couches and chairs to hang out, sip, and relax. Ever try a $100+ bottle of wine? Now is your chance :)
