if I could give it zero stars I would. I took it for a small check. They told me it would take no more than 30 minutes. I came back in 45 minutes. My car was not done. Suddenly, a young lady got the seat of my car and took off with my car. I asked them where she went with my car and the owner said their small check was broken. I told them they should've mentioned that someone was going to take my car somewhere else because I would've came back since I was on my lunch break. They never apologize. All they did was make excuses. I told them that they're lucky I didn't call and make a report with the police department for stealing my car. No one informed me they were taking my car to another auto place to get a smog check. also, the smog check was $80 which is the most I've ever paid for a smog check. I came here for my smog check earlier on in the year around January. I left my car and keys with confidence with johnny. Johnny told me to come back in 2-3 hours for pick up. Came back and paid and all good to go, so I thought. 4 months later when it is time for me to change my tires (which I can't get done yet without stripping my security lugs) I had my wheel lock key stolen out of my glove compartment. I can not find it in my car anywhere nor in my garage, clearly stolen out of my little bag where there is extra lug nuts and the wheel lock key. Only time I did not have positive control of my car or keys is when I handed my keys over to Johnny back in January. Yesterday Saturday at about 5 PM I drive up to this business after tire shopping and realizing what happened so that I could assess/confront/complain in a respectful manner that I am missing my wheel lock key. I spoke to Johnny specifically and he said it is impossible because they would not use it during a smog check. But they did have access to my car and glove compartment for 2-3 hours out of my eye site. Johnny admitted he is the only one that does smog tests so for everyone out there be forewarned that if you leave your vehicle here don't leave any sort of mechanic related item that can get swooped up and stolen. What sucks is that I trusted this guy and handed over my keys because my brother recommended this business. When I left my keys with this guy back in January he literally left them on a messy ass table, unsecured, and I even said something like hey you're just going to leave my keys there? He responds with it's okay, they're safe. Now I have to go on a wild goose chase and purchase another set of a wheel lock key and lugs which all look like they are made in China, all cheap looking and sh*t. Or wait to call my dealership on Monday to see if they provide/sell an original set. So annoying. I'll be the first to apologize if I find my wheel lock key but I know I didn't lose it. It was stolen for whatever reason. I recommend to go elsewhere if you can't stand thieves. I read these guys reviews on here, they have a track record for being dishonest. read more

the dealers has its own auto shop. It appeared he had three workers, who fixed minor kinks (door latch and hydraulic brace for the hood). So far it looks like they did a great job on those quick fixes. I hustled with Gus, who showed me 5-6 trucks. I had to drive to another one of their lots two see two other similarly priced trucks. They were nice, but this black titan fit my needs best. So far the Trucks running really well! I've done 6 transports so far, zero issues. I told Gus, I had read reviews that he helps fix anything if their are immediate issues. Gus told me, he would honor that. If the trucks takes a dump, guarantee I'll be back to change this review. I purchased my vehicle back in February of this year. I had went through the union program at my work and they were on the list of dealers. I originally went in to buy a chevy uplander, I called the evening before to confirm that the vehicle was in stock. They confirmed that it was. When I arrived they said they just sold it. And convinced me to purchase a Buick Terraza. I was happy with my purchase. 3 months later the vehicle began to overheat. I paid to have the radiator flushed. Here we are only 6 months after purchase and the vehicle completely overheated. It needed the water pump, thermostat, and radiator replaced. I could not afford the total cost of repairs and had to cut my losses. I sold the car to Carmax for a fraction of what I paid for it. NEVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM HERE! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! A so-called financial manager answered the phone when I called in asking about a car. I repeated 5 times over the phone but she couldn't get my email right. She got frustrated and told me to wait 15mins for the receptionist because it was her job. And she couldn't understand me because of my accent. First of all, what kind of a manager couldn't get an email address right and had to ask a customer to wait so the receptionist can do it? I hope whoever runs this shop hires someone who has received some kind of education. Secondly, with that attitude, you are not any getting any customers. She's rude, arrogant and insulting. This is the worst dealership ever. I went in looking for a car and thought I was getting lucky that I found one. Took it for a test drive. We noticed the air wasn't working and something with the power steering. Guy said it would be fixed by the next weekend when I put down the rest of the down payment. Next week it wasn't ready said he needed a couple more days. Well after waiting for two weeks and too many excuses he tells me something else is wrong and unless I still want it he's not fixing it. But that would take a few more weeks. I said no I want my money back. My husband said he'd go get the money back so we could look elsewhere. The guy said there were no funds available to pick up. But he would return the funds back to his bank account but it would be a couple of days. That means this place doesn't even look over the cars before they put them up for sale and unless you notice something they don't fix it. read more

Don't buy here! After a disastrous head-on in our home town of San Diego we saw a similar, older Mercedes like our now totaled MB for sale at Silver Star. We made several calls to Silver Star's Michael and Gus about the MB, ML350's condition. At each call, we were assured the car had never been in an accident and was in tip top shape. We decided to rent a transportation vehicle to get from San Diego to San Bernardino, about 115 miles each way. We traveled there in a terrible rain storm based mostly what Michael had told us about the terrific condition of this car. When I approached the car, I noticed numerous, serious cracks in the plastic front bumper cover. Checking further, the radiator moved back and forth quite easily. The fan shroud was free to move about. All the fasteners were broken. I reached over and spun the cooling fan. The fan clutch was not engaging at all. When I started the engine, the drive belt screamed. I stopped the motor and checked the belt. It appeared to be out of alignment and severely cracked. I have great doubt that it would have made it back to San Diego intact. After putting these facts and others together, I am very sure this car was in a fairly serious head on collision. When confronted with this, Michael got very angry. He obviously lied to us about several problems with this car. In addition, many of the interior dash items did not work. Things like the sound system, nav system and more were inoperable. This car did not even have operable stop lights! In fact, there was loose wiring where someone had removed the stop light on the roof in front of the rear gate. The car leaked hydraulic fluid from at least 2 places in the steering system. When the steering wheel was moved a small amount at rest, a terrible rattle appeared until you stopped all movement. All this and much, much more on a car that Michael told us many times was in "PERFECT" condition! read more

I called before i came in to buy a car, they told me on the phone that the car i wanted was ready to be sold. I went in to buy the car and they told me it wasn't ready yet, they still had to look at it and to call them in 3 days. I called them and they said it still wasn't ready. I called again 2 days later and it was finally done so I went and bought it. After the car was paid for, they took me outside to wait for a full scan of the car to be done. I waited for the plugged in device to finish for 10 minutes before i had to go to the bathroom. When i came back it was suddenly done and all clear. I left with no check engine light and only 4 days after that, it turned on. I took it to my cousin, who is the manager at an auto shop, and he told me that they reset the light, which is illegal and will mean that their license to sell cars will be revoked. They also cracked the gas tank and the car needed a new catalytic converter. They "fixed those problems but now it is only 2 months after i bought the car and 1month after they "fixed" it. GUEST WHAT IS LEAKING AGAIN? My gas tank. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well as a lawyer. read more

Dear Steve or ANYONE working there, this is Adam, on Friday I bought the Maserati. I had to leave my Jaguar and come back for it the next day and you took the keys and promised to keep it safely indoors. When I came back Saturday I decided to also buy the Audi A3 that was on the lot but it needed a lot of work and wasn't ready to drive home. SO, I drove back my Jaguar only to find that you dented the fender and cracked the mirror housing. I called immediately but no one answered the phone. I turned around and you already locked up. Today it's Monday and I have placed 6 phone calls, two text messages and two voicemails with no call back. You have possession of my Audi which I paid for in full, and I need to talk to someone about rectifying the damage to my Jaguar before I report this to the insurance company. Your phone number is just a cell belonging to the owner and he ignored my texts and then turned off his phone. All phone numbers associated with your company lead to that cell phone number. I am within my 2-day cancellation period and if I do not get a call back by 1pm today then I will file the claim with my insurance (I already filed a police report) and they will make the $3700 repair and then collect it from you and there will be a small claims suit for this violation of consumer rights and a report to the BAR and DMV. PLEASE DON'T FORCE MY HAND - all I wanted was to talk with you about completing the 90k mile service on the Audi which would cost you $80 in parts and I would have called it even! I am not looking for conflict, but NO ONE is calling me back! You don't even have an alternate landline number or even an email address so I am forced to publicly post this here! You have my car, you have my money, and you damaged my Jaguar - I think I am OWED the basic courtesy of a phone call. You have two hours to resolve this for about $100 in parts on the Audi before I move forward and create HELL ON EARTH for your dealership. read more

This place has horrible service took our truck in here only cause the warranty company said that's where I had to go. Would have not been my choice. They replaced the transmission and after about 5000 miles it started doing the same thing. So I had to take it back Steve told me it was just a filter. Then going over things he decided to warranty the transmission. Then tells me that there is no further warranty. I said so you kept our truck 4 days longer for what then.. we go to pick up the truck today and our truck is not there... they were out joy riding in our truck. So of course we get mad. The owner get in our face and starts yelling then proceeds to say I'll go get my gun. Really!!!! With the kids watching everything!!!! And put over 200 miles on our truck and to top it all off there is damage to the front of the truck ( a dent next to the licence plate and plate is bent). Worst place ever!!!!!!!! read more
