Finally decided to write a review since I've brought my car here 5 different times in a 2 year span. I've had different things fixed here from my control arms, front & back breaks, wheel bearings, right & left axle and radiator fan. Each time, I have been pleased with the process and the price. Simon which is the owner will go above and beyond to get you the best price. My car parts all came with a year warranty which is a plus. The mechanic Rick who has worked on my car always does an amazing job. I'm happy that I've found a reliable mechanic that will fix it for a good price. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! The service is terrible. My husband had a great relationship with these guys until they decided to take his money and not replace the product he paid for. After showing proof that he paid to have a part replaced they refused and told him to "take me to small claims court". He has had his brakes replaced with them in the past also and had issues with the quality of work they did but decided to give them another chance. Simon listened & looked under the hood & immediately brought it to one of his mechanics. He told me it was idling way too high & put me ahead of other cars, because he felt it was unsafe to drive. 30 minutes later - it was done. Been coming here for years. We have been taking our cars to Simon for years and years. They've done great work and haven't tried to up sale with unnecessary work. Simon and Jesse are both very kind and trustworthy, and they answer all my various and crazy questions. The mechanics do quality work and are helpful and kind as well. Recently, I was nearing Las Vegas on a road trip, when the transitioner to my air-conditioning belt broke. I didn't know what happened. But I described the noise, told him we lost air, and he walked me through what to look for, and diagnosed over the phone. He's always been great at diagnosing. Knowing I can call and ask him questions from anywhere and that he'll take the time to answer them, makes him not just our auto guy, but a friend. I definitely recommend A&A. read more

Took my vehicle here a while ago about 6 or 7 months ago but am barely deciding to write a review due to the fact if how annoyed I am with how my car ended up turning out for the money I paid. Took my car in for a few things coil pack, spark plugs , outer tie rods, upper control arms and to change the Valve cover gaskets. First and foremost the work turned out fine initially no more leaking gaskets and of course with any suspension work you need an alignment afterward. But what I was upset with was first of all when I got my car back my transmission was acting funny doing a low RPM droning noise and vibration that i never felt before especially before taking it in. I took it back to them the next day or so and they couldn't figure out the issue even though the issue wasn't there before when I first brought it in. They don't do transmission work so they couldn't even really tell me what the issue was so that was kind of frustrating because was Mechanic shop cant do transmission work so I ended up giving up on that. Then no less than a month later I noticed my Valve cover gasket had started leaking which shows their shotty workmen ship of course they don't warranty their work so I was left to have to get it redone and you can't blame the gaskets because I went with OEM parts. All and all it was a feeling a bitterness toward this shop and I definitely will not be returning. Best thing about this place is Jessie and his dad really respectful and great customer service so that is why this place is getting a 3 star review and not one. I no longer have the car otherwise I would have posted picture of leaking gasket and due to the droning noise and leaking gasket I could not sell the car for as much money. read more

They know me. Simon and his crew have been my go to place for car service for 11+ years and 2 cars. RIP Joe. I have really grown to hate car dealership service departments. Volkswagen dealerships will never service my car again--even for warranty work. It is a shame that I have to order parts from the dealership but at least I can have Simon and his crew do the installation. Simon and his crew know I drive a lot and don't always pay attention to every little fluid or dipstick in the car. Every time I'm in for basic service like oil changes or tire rotations they check my fluids, top them as needed and send me on my way. If I have to have major service done Simon will give me options and answer the millions of questions I have about what the issue is. He gives me recommendations based on what needs to be done and I trust him. The majority of his business is done by word of mouth and I have never been disappointed with his service. In fact the reason I started using him was for a routine oil change. I had the dealer doing my oil changes since my car was relatively new at the time and the dealers never seem to want to pay for warranty stuff unless their mechanics do the service. I was pretty far away from the dealer and was about to go on a road trip to Northern California. I had been to A & A Auto before as they removed a nail from my tire weeks before and they were close by. Simon told me the threads on my oil pan were stripped and the plug was put in with silicon. I was pissed off. All my oil changes were done by VW dealerships. The dealership said nothing after my last oil change about anything being wrong with my oil pan. If I hadn't gone to Simon for the oil change for my trip the oil plug could've come out along with all the oil and my engine would've burned up. Simon saved the pan, plug and all for me so I could pursue action against the dealership. Amazingly enough the dealership was closed and Acura had moved in the spot. You can best be sure I will recommend Simon and his staff for maintenance and repairs. I've never before had an Auto mechanic I could trust until now. Simon and his guys are golden. read more

Simon is a crook! I took my car to him on 2 different occasions for the SAME problem. My car was fixed temporarily but not even 3 weeks later from the last time I picked up my car it was having the same problem. I then call him to tell him this info and he says there's nothing he can do about it and gives me another story on why I'm having these problems with my car! Plus he tried to overcharge me in parts! He told me he was "good quality" . But found the same brand, same parts between ore illy and auto zone for reasonable prices! He is an overall liar, manipulator, scammer and thief! Worst customer service I received ever in my life. I hope he goes out of business one day and gets the karma he deserves! read more

Having moved into the area several years ago, I had to do what everyone dreads- find local places to do all your regular service needs. Dr's, dentists, barbers, home services, and auto services. I used one local mechanic before trying A&A and the whole situation/outcome was frustrating and costly! After calling around, Simon/A&A were the most reasonably priced- a good or bad thing depending on the quality. After talking to someone who has lived in the area their whole life, they recommended Simon/A&A without my prompting. I've been taking my cars there ever since. I've gone from my sedan, to a smaller SUV, to a larger SUV with our family. Any car I've had, Simon has always been fair and honest about. Update: The transmission A&A put in sounds like I'm hitting potholes on a smooth road. I'm going to have to use that 90 day warranty and see how responsive they are. Will post again when they have responded. ---------------------- These guys seem to know what they are doing, but will do more than is needed. I just had a transmission put in, and Simon said I needed both front axles and two motor mounts. When I asked to see the parts, the mounts were clearly shot, but there was nothing wrong with the axles except one of the bushings was cracked. Well they are old. No, rubber gets old; metal gets worn and there was no sign of slop or wear. The job took over a week and was claimed to be almost finished two afternoons in a row, and when I arranged to pick it up, I found it still on the jack being worked on. I had to remind them to write in my gearbox warranty or I wouldn't have had that either. read more

the WORST customer service ever i was lied to and took for my money i took my van in to this shop and they told me it was one thing i paid them almost 400 to diagnose it and fix the problem about 3 days later my van started doing the SAME EXACT thing over again i took it back to this place because i had a warenty and he of course told me that its a diff. problem but yet my van was doing the same exact thing it was when i took it to him the first time...he said because my check engine light was not on that it had to be something else so i left my van there over night and he calls the next morning to quote me at another 600 to fix my van.. now i just did a diagnoses check the week prior to this and he should have found this NEW problem but he of course didn't...i turned him into the BBB it seems he doesn't like it when ppl bring their cars back and he gets questioned...i was called a liar and laughed at.. and also need to say that about 6 months prior to this my fuel pump was replaced so it was new...they are the ones that are liars!!!! read more
