Mom has a sprawling 100 year old Spanish style home in Redlands with thick plaster and concrete walls. The Wi-Fi did not penetrate farther than the next room. Finkeltron was a great choice for us, and Sam was, shall I say it, a DELIGHT to work with! We have a building with nine apartments which desperately needed an Internet upgrade - slow speeds, inconsistent service - we were getting many complaints from our tenants. Sam looked at the current installation, and provided a quote for the upgraded service, the very next day. As soon as the ordered equipment arrived, he made arrangements to come to the building for the installation. The job had some unexpected problems, mainly bad wiring, which Sam replaced. He installed the equipment, made it look great, in fact, one of his before-and-after pictures shows how bad our equipment looked before he arrived, and how organized and clean it looked when he finished! Documentation was provided with pictures and arrows, a really top-notch job done on docs. I really have an appreciation of that because this is an area most techs drop the ball on. Sam concluded the job by meeting with me by phone to go over details of the job, show me data of how the tenants were already enjoying the new Internet speeds, and go over the router controls. Sam has been helping my wife and me with our small home office for the last year or so. We met him by referral from trusted colleagues who highly recommended him and they were absolutely right on. This review is way over due for Sam! We opened our medical office last year and the IT wiring and telecommunications wiring was A MESS to say the least. We picked Sam because of his stellar Yelp reviews and his cool business name. He brought down the rats nest of wires from the ceiling and converted a closet in our break room into our server room. He worked tireless hours (on New Year's Eve!) to get everything up and ready installations that were to take place the next week. Hey showed composure when having to deal with hot messes in the "IT department" for AT&T. He also problem solved a wireless issue by installing a sleek and modern wall unit to help boost the signal (which gets a lot of compliments for how aestetically pleasing it looks..it does look great!). For being a small office, we do use 5 computers, 3 wireless devices and a digital x-ray machine. Everything has worked flawlessly and we even added a SONOS system and upgraded our ISP to Comcast and everything switched over without any sweat.
