I contacted this business on Yelp and Jerry was super responsive. I decided to go down to Main Street (I avoid this area like the plague bc it's so busy) but it was well worth the trip. His booth is inside a building with multiple businesses and his is on the left side about halfway in. It was a Saturday so it was busy. He was so friendly, personable and honest. He cut the anklet, added the clasp and it came out very good. He finished within 25 min or so while I waited. I loved giving my business to this small business and nice guy. Thank you!

My mom found a crystal bracelet which she bought me 20 years ago in Chinatown (same store in Chinatown NYC), and she put in a silver box nicely (my mom gave me the silver has a their logo "芳" on it pls see attach. This is my proof that we did got the bracelet from them in Chinatown NYC). I cut the old bracelet apart and put old and new crystal together to make one bracelet (I used all new crystals, only added few old pieces). I went to them today to get them clean. they said one of the crystal is not being to them, they cannot clean them for me. The lady was keep touching my bracelet and big black crystal. I confronted them, we did bought it from them 20 years ago. They keep saying no, so I don't want to argue anymore bc I lost my paper(proof). I asked them what do u want me to do, buying more crystals. They didn't say anything. They gave me bad attitude. When you spend $$$$ with them they are nicer with you. They suppose let us to do after service cleaning for the buyer. Now they make up excuses not to. Their stuffs are expensive. I spent $300+, abt $400 and didn't do anything. The doorman was very friendly with my friend(who was white) but the minute me and my wife(both black) walked in, he suddenly changed his face and asked if we're all together. Then I had a hat on and the woman said, can you please take your hat off and when I asked why, they said it's "policy" and then said to my wife no sunglasses allowed which is interesting because my wife had taken off her glasses prior to entering the store. What took the cake was that right behind me was an Asian man with his hat on. Me, my wife and my friend immediately left. I'm not sure what kind of show they're running over there but I will highly recommend that people look else where if you don't want to deal with racist antics.

I bought one big stone moonstone bracelet from them and they gave me a tiger's eye bracelet for free with the buy $35 or more and receive a bracelet for free sale that was going on. What I like is that they let you try on everything beforehand and actually encourage their clients and customers to touch their products (for energy work purposes/to see how it looks on you), which made me feel more at ease with the whole shopping experience. They also went above and beyond for me because the bracelets I bought were initially a little too small for my wrist so they took the time to re-string both of them. They also let me cleanse the bracelets on their big amethyst stone. Supposedly they also do incense cleansing for stones too. What I also like is that they also do repair on jewelry. Their prices also are pretty just/reasonable in comparison to Manhattan/other crystal shops. Absolute would come here again to get more products.

My usual go-to place down the block (near McDonald's on 82nd) is temporarily closed and so I came here. The man behind the counter is definitely brusque; I am inferring he is Sammy the Owner. He first told me it would take 15 minutes to replace the battery and so I waited. A few minutes later, he came back and said he needed to have his "watchman" take a look at it. So I put down a non-refundable deposit and left. That was Monday. By the following Monday, I had not heard back and I was nervous because I would be departing NY. So I called and the same man (I recognized his voice) told me someone would be getting back to me. Within an hour or two, a woman phoned me and said I would need to come down and put a $20 deposit toward getting the watch fixed. She quoted me $100 for final cost. I ended up zelle-ing her the $20. She also told me the watch would be ready by Thursday. The woman was very nice. On Wednesday, the woman called and said my watch was ready. I went in to the store and paid the remaining balance--80 dollars. All in all, the whole cost-of-repair was $115. My watch works fine. I am not sure if this was a reasonable price and time for repair. It's crazy how the watch hardly breaks down in Bakersfield, CA, where the cost is significantly lower. Always in NY, sigh ...

My experience at Silver Image for my initial piercings was quite satisfactory. The ladies at the front desk were consistently respectful and professional, and Sam was competent and efficient. The staff can seem slightly intimidating at first glance, but I've never personally had a negative experience with them. As long as you respect them, they will respect you. All of my piercings have been done using a needle, as it's less traumatic to the skin and promotes faster healing (no one wants an extended recovery period). While the needle option might come at a higher cost, I highly recommend it for its long-term benefits. The clamping tool used to pinpoint the exact location for the piercing is arguably more uncomfortable than the piercing itself (think of it as a miniature medieval device). I've had experiences with another piercer where the process was entirely painless (aside from the brief poke, which is quite manageable). Additionally, their selection of basic jewelry could use improvement. It's rather difficult to remove on your own since you have to twist it off. I recommend opting for a push-pin flat labret, which is much easier to take off and doesn't get entangled with your hair (a small luxury, but appreciated). Upon getting pierced, they use a longer post to accommodate swelling, but it's advisable to downsize after a few months to ensure the piercing doesn't deviate over time. Sam doesn't provide guidance on downsizing, but I highly recommend consulting an APP-certified piercer for this step (you can do so here: https://safepiercing.org/find-a-piercer/). During this time, you might also explore high-quality jewelry options from brands like BVLA or Junipurr. The best advice for piercing aftercare is to LITHA: "Leave It The Hell Alone." For aftercare, I relied solely on saline spray, which facilitated the healing of my eight piercings quite effectively. Since the very first time i got interested in piercings, I've been googling and asking everyone and everything about them. After some time and strolling around in flushing with my cousin, I found SIlver Image and decided to get my first piercing done there. When i first got there, he was taking care of two other people who were getting pierced. After they were done, he helped me. I was sooo nervous since it was my first non earlobe piercing but he made everything look and sound simple. I picked out what kind of jewelry I wanted then he marked my ear and asked if i liked the spot. I didn't really like that spot so he kindly remarked it until i was satisfied. After he pierced my ear, he explained how to clean and take care of my new piercing. After a couple of weeks, I thought that it was healed so i played with it a lot by twisting and turning the earring. Boy was i wrong, a little bump grew on the back of my piercing. I was so scared it was an infection and went back to the store to ask him why there was a bump and what i should do. Even though it was my mistake, he helped me and recommended another way of cleaning and he didn't even charge me anything. The bump on my ear got a lot smaller but didn't fully go away yet. I went back to him and he helped me again and again, did not charge me anything. At last the bump went away and my cartilage piercing is finally healed! After that, I went back to him again for another piercing along with my cousin. We both had our ears pierced and had absolutely no problem with it. Whats even better is that if you follow him on facebook, he posts up sales on different types of piercings as well as jewelry! He has definitely earned a happy customer!! Also, even without the sales, his pricing is so much cheaper than most of the other places I checked out. By the way, I travel all the way from Long Island just to get my ears done by him. Hands down the best piercing shop I've gone to! I've been to a store called Valentine's, a local jewelry store, and the jewelry/piercing store (that comes before Sam's place, NEVER go there btw) to get my other piercings but nothing beats Sam's Silver Image. I would definitely recommend contacting the place before you go because there are times when it's not open. The first time I went I ended up getting my ears pierced at the place in front of Sam's but two out of the four piercings (including cartilage which was a BIG MISTAKE) I got there (all with a gun) got infected. I recently went to get my tragus and rook done (with a needle) and so far they haven't gotten infected. Sam is really good at explaining all the procedure to you while he preps along with solid instructions on cleaning. The process is pretty quick and painless and the prices are great too! The location itself is pretty convenient from the LIRR or the 7; less than a 10 min walk. **In terms of piercing, I think I have a pretty high pain tolerance so if I were to rank the piercings (I currently have) from low to high I'd say: 1) Standard (can't even compare to the others:)) 2) Upper lobe 3) Outer conch 4) Tragus 5) Helix (NEVER get it with gun, you'll end up getting a small bump behind the piercing because of the impact) 6) Rook (didn't hurt as much when Sam did it, but you feel the pain after the adrenaline wears off) Hope this helps! read more

I cannot recommend Silver Image Piercing enough, especially if you are lucky enough to get Sam. As a parent, hygiene is my number one concern, and I was so relieved to see Sam don a fresh, clean pair of gloves right in front of us. That small action instantly put my mind at ease. My daughter was extremely nervous for her first ear piercing, but Sam was incredibly patient. He took the time to explain every step of the aftercare process in detail--something I've never experienced at other shops where they just rush you out the door. He even marked the placement with a dot and made sure my daughter was 100% happy with the position before he started. That level of care and confidence really reassured her that she was in good hands. The woman at the front counter was equally friendly and helped make the whole experience less nerve-wracking. If you are a newbie or a regular, this is the place to go. My only tip? Try to go on a weekday when it's less busy so Sam can really take his time with you. Worth every star! read more

Unlike the other reviews I have no problems with Sam or his piercings. He gives you accurate information on healing process. Until this day I haven't had anything that hasn't heal properly. All my piercing have been performed by Sam. He is not rude at all he is a very nice person and talks to the customer strict so they are aware of the risks if proper post care is not followed. Since it's a simple piercing, I didn't want to shell out big bucks to go to a specialized piercing parlor but I also didn't want an infection from somewhere inexperienced or uncertified. Thanks to Yelp I found the perfect middle ground at Just Pierce It. Located right at the Queens Boulevard entrance of Queens Center Mall, Just Pierce It is a kiosk that's bright, clean and easy to find. They also do some creative rearrangement of the display cases to have a small, semi-private piercing area. They take appointments on Yelp and when I did, I got a very pleasant worker who called me to confirm the time. It definitely didn't seem necessary to make an appointment but it does get busy. My piercing was done by a female piercer who took a great deal of time to examine my ear and explain the process. She was gentle, patient and knowledgable and even noticed that my original piercing had split some cartilage because it was far up my lobe, which is why the re-piercing was tougher than usual. After the piercing, she did a great job talking about aftercare and mentioned a follow up in 2 weeks if needed. Prices are very reasonable and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Another thing I really liked about Just Pierce It is how open they are to telling customers if a particular piercing they're asking for would require them to visit one of their other locations instead of the kiosk because of the extra set up and equipment needed for safety. I will definitely be recommending it to others.

Needless to say to say we have been back several times since then. Took her in the other day to get her tragus pierced. She said it was her most painful piercing yet. We've only gotten pierced by Harry. I usually call now to make sure he's there because we really enjoy his energy. Always very kind and gentle as possible. He does a great job explaining after care and making sure you are comfortable before the piercing is done. He even showed my daughter how to reduce a keloid she developed from a previous piercing done elsewhere. It's a very laid back vibe there. Even the bathroom decor is well thought out. Whole place is very clean! I'm not a big tattoo person but when I'm ready for another one I'll definitely be going to them as well!

I made an appointment and paid the $100 reservation fee online. I was reminded several times of my appointment. There is a website and Ms. Smith has an Instagram account with many photos of her work. There are many 5-star reviews here on Yelp. I live in New Mexico, where piercings are done in tattoo parlors by rough-looking men. That wasn't the experience I wanted. Ms. Smith is thoroughly professional and competent. She spent time with me concerning my previous earlobe piercings, which had closed up over time. She went over the earrings choices with details about stones and white vs. yellow gold. I never felt rushed. I ended up purchasing two sets of lightning bolt earrings with tiny stones, one pair in each gold color. She was meticulous in positioning and marking my lobes. The actual piercing of both ears was quick and almost painless. I was given an instruction card detailing home care of the new piercings. Clinical Ear Piercing by Rachel Smith offers a very professional and comfortable client experience. I highly recommend this business.

His patience and concern really won me over…read more When he was showing me the earrings for my baby girl, I was looking for a specific one that he didn't have in stock. He literally checked every single drawer to find it for me. After searching, he only found 1 and offered me a discount if I wanted to wait a few days for him to order it for me. Not only did he take his time to mark my daughter's ears, he double and tripled checked it before showing me. After my daughter was screaming, he told me to take my time to calm her and don't rush out. While I was calming her, we had a great conversation. I learned a lot about his background and love for piercing. He truly is the perfect person for this job. I would definitely recommend this spot.
