Themis is a master jeweler that approaches the most difficult projects with expert experience. The shop provides reasonable choices and a wide selection of quality pieces. Truly a jewelers jeweler !!!! Don't think going to 47th street will be better when this shop is right here in beautiful Bayside !!!! Convenient, professional , reasonable. read more

I had four rings sized, two of the rings broke! One missing as sizing was done wrong. The second one, the ring broke in half where he cut to size. He then told me he wasn't responsible. I wouldn't buy a thing here as the staff look unwelcoming and give off a bad vibe. The jeweler is dishonest, he claimed the rings weren't fixed there but he repaired it free anyway, who's lying? I've lived here all my life and I will ban dishonest businesses. He ruined my diamond ring, he should have fixed that too. What a diabolical place@!!! read more

Nice service, quick repairs, often while-you-wait. Have not purchased jewelry here but a lovely selection. Have had watch batteries and straps replaced and small repairs. Reasonable prices - much better than others on Bell Blvd. The jeweler came out from back each time I've been there to thank me for my business which I appreciate. Glad to support! read more

Do you know how you go somewhere to get a little something done like a watch repair, and you walk into a very empty store and everybody stares at you like why are you walking into our business. That's sort of the feeling that I got coming here. I'm not going to say that it's not a good store they did a fantastic job on what I needed done but I can't say that I felt welcome. Sales girls were busy having personal conversations and I just felt a little out of place. The gentleman that worked on my watch was very nice unfortunately he's not the one that greets you when you walk through the door read more

True professionals. Timely, courteous, extremely fair price for work, and warm welcome. Will definitely be back with future pieces. Thank you! read more

Had a necklace repaired at Athena Jewelry. Excellent, fast service, and a reasonable price, would definitely use them again.

Themis and Nena are truly two of the most beautiful people I've ever met. When you walk into their store, to say they make you feel welcomed is an understatement. Their selection is amazing and if you want something they don't have, they will get it for you. The workmanship is the best I've ever seen and I never have to question the quality. They have a range from simple to extravagant as well as very unique pieces. I've been a customer for years and will always go there for my jewelry needs. Best people and best jewelers around! read more

Excellent, excellent jeweler! Brought in a necklace to be engraved because the original engraver did a horrible job! Picked it up today and could not believe what an awesome job Themis did on it! He even put a new chain not to mention how reasonable the price was! I cannot say enough about him and his workmanship! I would highly recommend Athena Jewelry to anyone who's looking for fine jewelry and repairs!!!! Thank you again, Themis! read more

Went here to get my engagement ring done due to the size being a little too big. I went there on a Saturday afternoon and requested the resizing balls be installed in my ring so that it would fit better. They gave me the option to either come back in the later afternoon or on Monday to come pick up my ring. I choice to come back on Monday, not only did they call me when it was ready but they also did a fantastic job on my ring. They also cleaned it which they didn't have to do. I definitely recommend this jewelry store for repairs. I trusted them enough to repair my ring and they did a great job. I will definitely be returning for more business. read more

Athena Jewelry - Resizing balls done by Athena's Jewelry.. - Jewelry Near Me - Bayside, New York

The best!!! Super honest!!! My husband bought my engagement ring here and when I got it resized I feel in love with their selection of jewlary. They import styles from Greece so you find things that you won't find in other shops. They don't pressure you to buy anything or give attitude if you look and don't buy anything. I think it's family owned and run, which I love. I've ordered a custom made name plate and bracelet... beautiful!!!! If you have an idea of creating something they don't say no it can't be done ( like other places I tried). Cant say enough good things. Also I come from Williamsburg Brooklyn for them... so enough said. read more

Excellent craftsmanship and customer service. My family has been patrons of Athena since the owner made house calls in the early 80's. Very proud to see it doing so well. Highly recommended and trustworthy. read more

I really like the place! Even though it is not really convinient location for me ( I have jewelry stores locatetd closer to the place where I live), I always go there to repair some jewelry, or fix the watch, or do some memorable engraving on the gift, or change the batteries. Whatever I need, I always find it there. I like the place itself, I like the owners, I like the fee they charge, their service is never overpriced. For all the times I come there , which is more than 5 years already, I was never dissapointed. Hope it will stays the same way. Will recomend it to everybody; now my son comes there too, and he is also happy with the jewelry store, he never complained. Thank you "Athena Jewelry"! read more

I already been here twice for repair/resize on the jewelry I already own and I have to say, they do an amazing job. Yes, DEPENDING on what you have done, it can be pricey, but for a good reason. People have to understand that not all jobs are easy. My watch had to get special screws after they all randomly fell out. The man who does the repairs took time to show me the different screws and why it couldn't just have any screw (also, its an expensive watch, so I was willing to wait and pay). When I got the watch back, he could have charged me more because he had mentioned that it could be higher than what he originally quoted me before we found out about the special screws - but he didn't. Then I came here to get my necklace readjusted. The price he gave me was a little expensive but he explained why it wasn't a easy job and it made sense about the chain links being very small he had to make sure it was perfect and it was! I'm always very satisfied and super happy with their work. It could be cheap if they do a shitty ass job BUT they don't. I would highly recommend this place for jewelry adjustment and repairs because the "short sales pitch guy" knows what he's talking about and definitely knows what he is doing. read more

I've been going to Athena for over 10 years, they were highly recommended by my neighbors and I see why. I can't recommend the staff at Athena enough! I've had batteries replaced, watches cleaned, jewelry repaired, purchased unique beautiful jewelry and have used their books to have pieces custom made. Prices have always been reasonable, workmanship perfect and I couldn't be happier. In my eyes there is no other jewelry store! read more

Went in with a watch that needed links removed to fit. Was done very quickly and prices were great. The owner did the work and he was very nice. Would recommend. read more

*edit* *also SUPER convenient how you claim to have loyal customers doing business with you 20 years, but not one Yelp review except mine, and none of these "loyal customers" coming to your defense* convenient how you failed to mention the man told me the tight wedding band would give me heart problems (not the other issues that you mentioned here in your response) which is 100% false, tight wedding bands have NEVER caused heart problems. also super convenient how you failed to mention the man told me how it was "necessary" to rhodium plate my ring due to the discoloration that would occur during the heating process, which does NOT occur in PLAT stamped rings that aren't mixed with cobalt, but platinum and iridium like mine. I only wanted the exterior of my ring polished, and said so, but was told "IT MUST BE PLATED!" which is also false. oh, by the way, I looked on the inside of my ring the other day after I wrote my original review and realized the original wedding engraving and date inside aren't there anymore. you said above that the items you produce "are of quality not rubbish". so what do you call it when a man comes in to have his wedding band sized, is given false health advise about tight rings causing heart problems, then given back a ring where the rhodium playing wears off in about 3 months, then realizes the engraving on the inside of his ring is gone??? what do you call that? I call that, RUBBISH! read more
