They told me someone would call in about a week, after about three weeks, I tried to call and that's what happened. This morning, I tried again, and the same ordeal. It seems like one can only go in person. They also don't give cash or credit back. So , I hope my deposit isn't lost. I'm really disappointed that they don't reach out to the customer and that when I try to reach out to them they're unattainable. Seems like a shady business. I hope this review helps them to realize my frustration and respond. My invoice number is 0443. The DCA number is 2068341. Please give me a call and leave a message if you don't reach me directly. Oh, and I also tried texting their number. My texts went through, but no responses were given.

If you have a vintage stem-winder Timex watch, you know that it's very difficult -- and potentially…read moreexpensive -- to find someone to repair it. When I contacted Timex about fixing my father's Marlin (circa the '70s-'80s, I was told) they recommended a former employee in Florida. He initially did a great job of restoring the watch's second hand and repairing the water damage. The watch worked fine for months, but late last year, while still working, stopped keeping proper time. When I contacted the same repairman, he did not respond to several messages. (He was in his 80s, so he may have thrown in the towel.) I thought I was sunk -- until I learned about Marcel at Grand Jewelry. When I brought the watch to him, he said he would look at it but made no promises that he could fix it. "Call me in two weeks," he said. I did, and the Marlin now keeps remarkably excellent time for a stem-winder. It's rarely more than a minute off the mark. And he charged me less than $100 for his work. I am a very happy customer can't recommend Marcel more highly.
