Broccoli Beef lunch special with soup, steam rice, and egg roll.

Had the lunch special. Reasonable price, generous portion, good Chinese food. Would come back in the area.

Like always, great service and great food. I like there new location, which is bigger. This place gets busy but yet, they get you seated pretty quick.

A solid 3. Nothing too unique about this place, but the standard lunch specials are always a good deal. It is good that, even though this is their new location, they have not changed their recipes. While the food is fairly typical, the hot and sour soup is some of the best in Sacramento. My little sister and I would always get the hot and sour soup when sick...or raining...or days ending in "y." Good news!!! The recipe is the same. Still delicious soup. Overall, nothing too extraordinary, but a good, reliable Chinese food lunch meal. Definitely be sure to order yourself some hot and sour soup

I did not love this place. We've been looking for a new Chinese restaurant buy the house and unfortunately this one disappointed. The first issue was that it was way too hot in the restaurant, it actually felt warmer inside that it was outside. We did not care for the food at all. The Mongolian beef was cooked fresh, just bland. The rice has a very odd taste to it. I have to say that the restaurant was busy, so maybe we were just the odd balls out.

New location!

My parents would take us to the Silver Dragon since we were little kids, and we grew up loving their sizzling rice soup, sesame chicken, mushu, and fried rice. We visited so often that the restaurant family all recognized us as we grew up. Tonight I went to pick up takeout for my family during a visit home to see my mom, who is terminally ill. :( We're trying to give her all her favorite meals in her last months. The owner remembered me and said I looked just like my mom. When I shared the sad news about her, he looked heartbroken and told me of his own stories of family loss in the past year, sharing his sincere personal advice. It was heartwarming. Our family got to enjoy the food together at home in the backyard, all grateful that the recipes and quality have stayed the same all these years. Hopefully they will be around for the next few decades!

Amazing food soo soo good the General Chicken is my favorite..super hot and the chicken and pork chow mien are full of flavor nat salt..You can tell they care about there quality here at Silver Dragon..Plus they give you so much each time you have a bonus meal to take home..The water and hot tea are complimentary....The service is A1 they come and check up on you constantly and refill your water..This place is great..plus the new location is upgraded and very nice..

The fabulous and hearty wor wonton soup... just the thing for a winter's day. The sizes are VERY generous.

The service was impeccable from the moment that we walked in. That includes being greeted right away. The waitstaff was incredibly attentive and on top of the details. We ordered some pretty standard items off the menu to please everyone-vegetable chow mein, lemon chicken and pot stickers. I ended up ordering 2 of the same bowls because it was a limited time only kind of bowl which was a Chili Garlic Ramen noodle bowl. Side note, the 2 for $12 deal didn't include the proteins since that costs extra so the deal was only if I didn't add any protein to my bowls. Since I ordered from the app, I was able to go in and grab my order then drive back home. My food was still hot by the time I got home even after driving in the cold and pouring rain. When I got home and started eating my bowl which had the seasoned tofu protein, I noticed that they didn't put much of it compared to my husband's bowl that had the grilled chicken protein. On top of that, the noodles were extra oily and greasy and too salty for my liking. I had to drink something sweet after to get rid of all the saltiness. I understand that noodle bowls are typically oily and salty but I just felt like it was too much for my tasting with this bowl. I mostly wished I had more of the seasoned tofu protein though. I guess if I were to order here again next time, I would probably get a bowl with the grilled chicken protein rather than the seasoned tofu protein since it seemed like they add more protein if you opt for the grilled chicken.

I should've known better but I still took the chance. It came out nice with a good sear but I knew well that it was cooked frozen. It was hard to cut, had the frozen taste after being cooked, and it was still very rare inside. I gave my opinion to Krystal and she knew immediately that the cook messed up. She took it back for it to come back five minutes with the same steak that was refried. Now it tasted even more horrible since it was leathery and the after taste was sour. I'm pretty sure that if the customer is not satisfied, they should at least replace the steak instead of reusing it. It tasted horrible. I am never eating here again and I would love to share that you can find better diners around the area than this. Props to the server for being patient but they need to update their cook and their policy when it comes to unsatisfying meals. (The picture is from the front so the full steak wasn't photographed well, I only took a bite so that is pretty much the size of it considering it being a 6 ounce but as you can see it is burnt after being given back to me the second time around) What a NIGHTMARE!
