Disappointed. Stayed at Silver Cloud Inns at Mukilteo, Broadway, University, Stadium and Bellevue. This one appears newer but also smaller. The armoire is rather small. The room seems smaller and closed in. Only Mukilteo rooms are smaller. It is clean and modern. No problem with breakfast. Went early one morning, late the next and there was plenty. I found the front desk staff pleasant and helpful. Could not hear the construction site on the backside of the hotel. Heard from a friend working onsite that it's a Google building. If you think it will disturb you, reserve a room with a view on the far side away from the construction. The laundry "room" is a closet with a double decker washer/dryer! Other Silver Clouds had the washer and dryer in a room opened by room key. How can your laundry be secure when the washer dryer is in the hallway behind an unlocked door? Any perve can get at your undies! But worst is the thin floors, also like Mukilteo. It's bad enough hearing someone walking around early in the morning when you want to sleep in. But tonight there are elephants partying above me. The pounding is more than aggravating. BRING EARPLUGS. Although other guests can be noisy, the "neighborhood," an industrial area, is rather quiet at night and not too noisy in the daytime. It's an area devoid of other niceties such as shops, supermarkets, restaurants, banks, but Seattle city center and Capitol Hill are not too far away. PS, parking is no longer free, $25/night. It's now Saturday morning and the stampeding elephants are at it again, running back and forth, back and forth. Must be kids. I never understand why hotels, restaurants, airline don't maintain separate sections for families, like they used to for smoking and non-smoking. My wife and I stayed here for the Stones concert, in part because the said they offer a shuttle. Per the staff the majority of the guests that night were there for the concert. However the hotel was not willing to provide any of us with shuttle service. The century link is not on their list (I guess they don't want football fans either). The next morning no shuttle drivers but they did offer uber but not to the train station but they would pay for us to go further in the wrong direction. WTF. So the shuttle can only go to 3 spots and they don't care if you spent hundreds on one of their suites, or if 90% of the guests want to go to the same spot. Is this a 5 stare hotel? Nope. But, it's a solid 4! Great location and a friendly staff at a terrific price. Spend a bit more for the rooms with lake view. It sounds like rooms on the other side might get some freeway noise. We had a nice and clean King room. It had a nice sofa, mini frig, microwave, coffee maker and second sink. The free parking was a nice bonus. I felt my car was safe locked in the gated garage. The spaces are a bit tight so if you have a large suv you might find it challenging or impossible if busy. The shuttle service (space needle, pike place market and West Lake) was very convenient. It runs about every 30-60 min from Morning till 10 pm. Contact the desk to reserve seats for drop off and pick up. If the shuttle won't work with your schedule an Uber from WestLake was $8. The free breakfast was also a nice bonus. We ate there every morning. The usual assorted pastry, toast, fruit, cereal, coffee and juice were joined by three kinds of eggs, sausage, bacon and self cooked waffles. By far, one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Not only did they let us check in 3 hours prior to check in, but they were extremely friendly! Every single employee in the hotel would greet us with a friendly hello! We booked this hotel last minute for 4 nights. A little back story; we are from Nevada and booked a trip to Seattle for my husband and my 10 year anniversary. We booked our trip through a 3rd party, hotel/flight. They recommended a hotel in Renton for our stay. The first night we came in super late due to our flight being delayed. The moment we walked into our room, a strong smell of mildew/mold was present. Asked to switch rooms, which they kindly did, however, this one reeked of marijuana(not against it, just don't do it myself). It was 2:30am when we got to our second room, husband booked Silver Clouds for the remainder of our stay. The room we booked had a beautiful view of Lake Union. The room smelt very clean and was super roomy. We had a nice fire place, microwave, fridge and coffee maker and a mini sink. The location was perfect! Walking distance to restaurants, not directly downtown but close enough for a short drive. The complimentary breakfast was AMAZING! Wide variety of choices from hot to cold meals. Highly highly recommend! Will definitely be staying here again in the near future! read more

Nice spacious and clean rooms, not overly luxurious but great for the price. The staff downstairs are friendly and they have a complimentary apple bowl. Sora and Jeremiah were incredibly nice and made me feel so at home, it was very refreshing because you don't find that hospitality from young people anymore. There is parking on the premise and a very good continental breakfast with hot items like eggs, sausage and quiches served every morning. The hot is across the street from Lake Union and is a great place to stay if you're attending the Kois Institute. I have stayed here many times and have always been happy with my decision. read more

My wife and I enjoyed a 3 day stay at the Silver Cloud Inn. We opted for the suites overlooking Lake Union at a very reasonable $200 per night. Though a bit over a mile away from downtown, it offers many amenities at no cost that are mostly unavailable at the downtown properties. Free secured parking and free laundry rooms on each floor. A free shuttle to some popular spots and the free breakfast which is available at 6:30 am. We found the breakfast to be quite good with many choices. No matter your preference, you will likely find a good variety to satisfy your morning requirements. The rooms are furnished comfortably. The beds are very good. There are two 55" TV's in the suites. A sliding wooden door in the suites can separate the living area and the bedroom for privacy and quiet, if needed. If you bring the children, that setup might be helpful. A sofa folds out that can sleep two. A room in the lobby with refrigerated microwave dinners, candies, chips and beverages is available if you need to stay inside. 4 blocks away you can find Dukes Seafood and Chowder, a very well regarded local restaurant. I was debating to book here because the price is a little higher than other hotels in the area, and farther off from town, but I'm glad I did because they have so many accommodations that other hotels may not provide, it was worth staying at: First, the room was very clean compared to other hotel rooms. Although there was no living room space, the room was a pretty big size to move around and pack your bags. The queen bed was slightly bigger than other hotels, and the pillows were soft. We had a nice sleep in this room. There are also two sinks - one inside the bath and one conveniently outside. They also have a combination lock safe in the room so we didn't have to always go to a lock box. Second, they have a hot breakfast buffet with a waffle maker. They featured either blueberry or cinnamon waffles in addition to the plain batter. They also had scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, and on certain days, breakfast burritos in addition to yogurt, cereals, bread, bagels, etc. which pays for the extra amount that you're paying for your room. There are windows that overlook lake union to sort of enjoy since the trees are partly in the way. Third, Newspaper is hung on your room door every morning for reading while eating breakfast. Fourth - their courtesy shuttle - two of the drivers were very friendly, but one was a little grouchy, but even if we were a little late, they were courteous and waited for us. This is a highlight because although they're not directly in town, it saved us the trouble of walking far from one place to another, or finding parking. They drop you off very close to either pike's place, the space needle or pioneer plaza, and will pick you up up to a half hour max of calling. Fifth, their pool is 24 hours, so when we returned late, we were still able to go to the pool and swim. Sixth, if you plan to drive to other places other than downtown, it's a convenient place away from the downtown traffic, so easy to drive in and out of the hotel without too much traffic. Seventh - parking is included, so it becomes worth the price you pay. Eighth - They have free wi-fi but if you can't connect, they will provide you with a direct cable connection. Last, if you sign up for their membership, you can get a free room after processing for 7 - 10 days. They were so accommodating to expedite the points so when we returned after almost a week later, we were able to use the points. I highly recommend this place. This place was okay. The room was clean - dark though. Without the blinds open the light didn't seem to radiate through the room from the entry and the rest of the wall lights were rather dim. The breakfast was decent and on time which is nice when you are traveling with children. The seating was hard to find at peak breakfast times. Although they have bins and trash cans set up for people to clear their own tables, most didn't which meant the staff had to. There wasn't enough staff to clean up from all the lazy patrons. The pool was closed while we were there. Which was a bummer, but were notified many times via email prior to our stay. The parking lot - they have two levels which were terrific. We used the shuttle, but only one way. We were told to call when we needed a pickup. We called around 7PM and were told it would 8:15PM before they could get to us. We ended up stopping for drinks and walking back before 8:15PM. It's a pretty easy walk back to the hotel from downtown. The customer service at check-in could be better. I wasn't informed of the shuttle, the parking or breakfast. I had to ask, read the book in the room and figure the parking out on my own. The entire check-in (with no one waiting behind us) lasted maybe 3 minutes. The staff wasn't rude, just not helpful. Overall, if you are bringing or renting a car and want to be nearish to downtown this is worth a look. read more

A romantic location, with our room viewing the harbor and water. The rooms only have double beds so take away a star on romance. Rooms are small and the bathroom is tight with the vanity outside of the bathroom. Free Wifi in the room. The secured inside parking has very tight spaces but the lobby is inviting with a TV, 24 hr store where you can buy snacks and things you might have forgotten on the trip. The breakfast was very good, plenty of seating, with a fire place and coffee bar and outside covered patio overlooking the water. The breakfast was more then continental, with build your own waffles, hard boiled eggs and such. Checked in with some confusion on the room, should have been waterfront view, was fixed but had to be made up. Online with hotels.com for $180. I stay in this Silver Cloud at least once a quarter for business. Nice views of Lake Union toward the west, including from the breakfast area. The rooms are clean and lacking a strong chemical odor. Newspaper in the morning. Good wifi from every room I have stayed in. Aveda products. Full cable selection - if that is what you want. Breakfast in the morning is better than Lenny's, I mean... well, you know. My biggest complaint about Silver Cloud is their gate-secured parking. Micro lot sizes and very low clearance. Silver Cloud Lake Union hotel has 7 floors in a quiet area that caters to families and business travelers. Silver Cloud offers good rates clean rooms and lots of amenities. Overall great value! And there's 2 other locations in Seattle. Stayed here in mid-July 2011; rate for 2 queen beds was $169 per night before taxes. Hotel stay includes: - gated covered parking; space is a little tight in some spots if you drive a large car - in room free wifi with good connection for you tube videos - breakfast goes beyond typical continental as there's make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, muffins, fresh fruit (though this one goes fast in the morning), cereal, oatmeal, toast, English muffins, juice and coffee - shuttle bus to three locations (space needle, pike place market and pioneer square). Pretty much pick up and drop off are almost every 30 mins depending on how busy they are and traffic - paper in the morning (Seattle Time) - coffee and tea available all the time - Aveda bath products - free use of business centre with two desk top computers and printers Other nice things: microwave and fridge in the room. Washer and dryer available for guests to do their own laundry. Service was friendly from front desk staff to shuttle drivers. Separate and additional sink outside of the bathroom. Breakfast was free and quite good. Room was decent. The real downer: TV entertainment options were quite limited. And I could not use my Chromecast with it. Motels/hotels need to get with the reality of the modern age. I have stayed at places that have various options (e.g. log in to Netflix, allow the use of Chromecast/Roku, etc). In this day and age, regular cable TV is worse than what most people have at home - it's not a plus, but a minus. Regular cable subscription is declining every year. They did have pay per view options, but they were too pricey - $20 a movie. I'll grant they had some very recent movies, but $20? On top of all that, there was no guide for the TV (listings, what's on, etc). To get that, you needed to download an app on your phone, and pay $1 to access the listings. I have never in my life stayed anywhere where they expect you to pay money just to see what's on TV (and then find out the stations they have suck and there is nothing worth watching!) My wife and I just wanted to relax and have some entertainment. This hotel did not deliver. read more

We had a wonderful stay here. Easy walk to the Space Needle and water view. The staff was extremely accommodating. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The room was large and very clean. We enjoyed to opportunity to leave the car in the covered garage and use the shuttle and Uber rides provided to guests. We had never heard of this hotel and booked it by chance. We were in a wedding that took place at the LUC and this establishment was booked for the those that wanted to stay close so we took advantage of it since we knew we would be partying it up and didn't want to drive all the way back to T-town. Checking in they offer a ton of free amenties: parking, breakfast, 24 hr access to pool and more. Walking into our room, it was pretty large, loved that it had 2 sinks and 1 outside the actual bathroom so we could get ready quicker! Large flat screen and seating area was a plus! I'm not sure about the wardrobe get-up versus having an actual closet as the space was small and barely fit my dress and I'm only 5'3 on a good day.... Cleanliness scale from 1-5 was a 3, ok maybe a 2.5. The parking for larger vehicles on the 2nd floor was a little sketch, I would think the ground floor would be more accessible for large vehicles and also the spots were super tiny? anywho... we tried to use the shuttle since LUC is literally 1.5 miles away but they only offer the shuttle to the Space Needle and Pike's place, so Uber it was. Here's why the 3 star....... 6am on Sunday morning I'm in bed and all I can hear is foot stomps, not steps up and down the ceiling? After celebrating the union of my cousins and a bunch of libations, the sound of running foot stomps SO early was NOT ok! I swear our room was under a hallway and kids were running up and down! After dozing in and out for the next couple hours, I wake to a gurgling sound???? I get up and see that the sink that's outside the bathroom is half full of a black dredge/soot, GROSS!!! WTH? I call the front desk and they tell me that they are going to send someone up, 45 minutes later no one, so we high tail it to breakfast as we had waited long enough. Breakfast was pretty legit, on the better end of complimentary breakfast's so that was a plus, thankfully! Checking out was different as I waited my turn the receptionist asked the patrons prior to us how there stay was etc and proceeded to check them out. Walking up,she doesn't ask us how our stay was and proceeds to verify payment card and before I can mention the issue with the sink and no one coming up and the stomping of feet, she's already processed my payment!!???? At this point I'm ready to go home, she says she will talk to the manager who is on the phone and will credit my account if they can? I tell her I have pics to show and she asks to look at them...... hmmmm? really? Thankfully we got reimbursed a little bit but the whole transaction and stay was FAR from what I expect from a Silver Cloud Inn..... read more

Stayed last weekend for training at a local hospital. This hotel has very nice price points for being a hotel in the city. Free parking is a big one; in addition it is in a secured area. Wow! The hot breakfast was very good and complimentary. The room was very nicely appointed with a gas fireplace, really cozy. If this stay wasn't work related, it would have definitely been part of a fun weekend. Nonetheless, it was very relaxing after training all day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My brother stayed at their Broadway location, last year, and loved it. Will definitely book again, except in the future it will be for a short staycation. read more

I stayed here this past week for work and unfortunately there was a pipe that busted in the neighborhood that left the hotel without water. All guests were left without water when we all woke up - most of us having to get ready to go to work. Therefore we all had to remedy the issue by using bottle waters to brush our teeth and rinse ourselves to best of our ability to get ready for the day. We couldn't even flush the toilets as well. I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a great experience. The front desk staff and general manager were all very friendly and helpful. The front desk is staffed all night, parking is free, breakfast is free and delicious, the view is amazing an the hotel is CLEAN! All for a very good price in the city of Seattle. This was a great deal. I have been to higher rated hotels, spent more and received less in terms of amenities and customer service. The TVs are large, the free coffee in the lobby is hot, the gym is decent. I will definitely return. read more

I am seriously still sitting in my hotel room at the Silver Cloud Lake Union, accessing the free wireless Internet, watching the boats and planes on the lake and writing this review. My family and I arrived late last night and were quickly checked into our room; yeah for free, locked parking. When we arrived in the room I realized it was not the one I requested and quickly went downstairs to get the correct room. Unfortunately the employee who had made our reservation had not given us the right room (deluxe king suite with water view) but the employee on duty upgraded us at no extra charge and apologized for the mistake. Take my advice, pay a little extra and get the deluxe king suite with a water view if you are traveling with a child! The living room (which has a pull out sofa bed) has french doors (with locks) separating the bedroom. It is so nice to put my daughter down to bed or a nap in the bedroom and be able to sit and read, watch TV, etc in the living room. Did I mention two 42 inch plasma screen TVs in the room? All the other stuff is great as well: good complimentary buffet breakfast, aveda bath products, nice indoor pool and spa (open 24 hours), central to a lot of activities in Seattle and nice friendly staff willing to help you find things in Seattle and make recommendations. The hotel even offers a free daily shuttle to downtown every half hour, just make sure to reserve early as they fill up quickly. I will definitely make this my home away home when in Seattle. read more

I was planning a trip to Seattle, and was reminded of the dreadful stay we had here a few years ago during my nephew's graduation. I had read wonderful reviews about this hotel--the view! the breakfasts! the free parking! the pleasant accommodations! and was looking forward to a nice relaxing visit. We arrived from out of state after a LONG flight with my elderly mother in tow, looking forward to a clean room and a hot shower. I showed my email confirmation and reservation number but Oooops! no room. After a while, they did locate it, but the room they had for us was not the room we asked for. Well, mistakes do happen. I didn't care about a view and I know mistakes happen; I just wanted a clean room that would work for an old lady in a wheelchair. Okay, so we asked to speak with the manager. We waited, and waited and ... After 20 minutes he finally emerged, clearly annoyed that we were taking up his valuable time. I've traveled throughout Europe & China & never been treated so RUDELY by the manager. So over an hour after we arrived, he offloaded us to a dark noisy hole with a noxious cigarette smoke odor. Worse, the room was dirty. My mom couldn't use the bathroom. We asked about moving to another room and it was basically: take it or leave it. By now it was late and we just wanted to sleep. The next day I looked for rooms at other hotels, which was difficult because it was around graduation. The hotel is moderately priced, the views were nice, as was the breakfast, but our room smelled and looked like a flophouse. Coincidentally (or not) I also developed a staph infection on my skin (that was a first). I eventually wrote to the corporate office of the hotel chain and expressed my disappointment. I got back a two sentence letter saying they are a great hotel chain and they were sorry I didn't enjoy my stay. Clearly the "we don't care, we don't have to" attitude goes all the way to the top. So ... if you book here,you might have a nice time. You might not. It's a crap shoot. Just hope you don't get crap. read more

I normally try to stay downtown when I'm in Seattle, as most everything I need to do when I'm there is between Spring and Pike. On this trip, I screwed around and waited until the very last second to book, so I had to suck it up and crash at this Silver Cloud hotel on the south banks of Lake Union. As with most of the Silver Cloud family, this is a well maintained and fairly attractive property. I only have two beefs: 1. There's not much happening nearby, unless you're into cancer research. If that's the case, you're in heaven. 2. The central elevator sucks. They kindly implore you to use the other (faster) elevators, but I found that kind of annoying. If you need close access to downtown and the other alternatives are too pricey or already booked, you could do a lot worse than this one. read more

This honestly might be one of my favorite hotels in the country. It's not a 5 star resort, but it sincerely punches above it's weight in every aspect. Some highlights include; - 24 hour pool and hot tub - extremely nice spacious rooms - very comfortable bed - 24 hour pool AND hot tub - right on the beach/marina - free breakfast (that is actually good) - free coffee and tea service all day/night - 24 HOUR POOL AND HOT TUB! I ate 21 cupcakes from Cupcake Royale during the 5 days I was in town, and the hotel's staff did not make fun of me once for being a disgusting gluttonous cupcake monster, so to say they were friendly and accommodating would be an understatement. Also, my room had a fireplace in it. A real fireplace. With like logs and fire and shit. Big fan of this place. read more

I really enjoyed my recent stay at the Silver Cloud inn. My friends' wedding was nearby so the whole bridal party stayed here. The free parking at the on site parking garage was close and convenient. We spent $160 and got an in room jacuzzi tub. It was huge and fun. The view for this room is not as good as some of the others, but it was worth the trade off. A friend's room had a view of the space needle, but I had to literally stick my head outside the window to see it. It was still nice even though kind of distance. The price was very affordable compared to a lot of hotels in Seattle, although there is not a lot to walk to from the hotel. Breakfast was included and everyone was digging the waffles. I enjoyed an apple and a cup of coffee. All the rooms have a mini fridge which was awesome except we forgot our unopened expensive bottle of Champagne in there :( read more

I stayed here for 3 nights on a work trip and i was pleasantly surprised! The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was super comfortable! The fitness center is huge! They serve breakfast in a breakfast room that overlooks lake union. The breakfast is pretty good. While the hotel has some great views of lake Union it is a bit off the beaten path of everything to do in Seattle. They do have a shuttle service though which is nice! read more

I will stay here again for sure on our many trips to Seattle, and here is why: 1. Front desk staff was super friendly. Back in the day I worked at a front desk, so I expect a high level of service, and I got it. We pulled up and I jumped out to ask where to park, and the front desk attendant said he'd just check us in quickly, and he did in a friendly yet professional manner. Quality customer service ranks very high for me! 2. The room was just what I expected from the Internet pictures. We had a non-view room, so we looked right into another building, but I knew this when I booked. It's $20 more for a view of Lake Union. 3. The pool was perfect for the kids, and hot tub was nice too, although on our visit there seemed to be a lot of chemicals in the hot tub so my eyes were irritated. But there were plenty of towels, and there is an elevator nearby to get you back to your room quickly without tramping through the lobby. The shallowest section is 3 feet, so I did have to hold my 3 year old son, but my 9 year old had a blast! 4. Breakfast is included in the price of your room! There was make-your-own waffles, hot eggs and sausage, and then of course your typical continental breakfast selection. The room was big and clean with a view of Lake Union. I've been to other hotels where the breakfast room is dark and small...not the case here! 5. Free gated parking! 6. Honesty. We left our camera in the room. They found it and mailed it back to us. They could have easily kept it, but no, they were honest. Hard to find these days. 7. Quick service. In addition to the friendly desk, I had to call to get more shampoo because my 3 year old decided the shampoo was bubble bath. I had 3 more bottles in 5-10 minutes delivered to my room. 8. FREE WI-FI! I paid $119 for the non-view room standard room, so with tax about $138. With a family of four, I could have easily paid $38 just to go out to breakfast with what we ate and drank, so this was a great deal. We will most certainly stay here again on our next Seattle adventure! We were there end of March 2011. read more

It's about $130 a night and you get free parking (in downtown, parking can be up to $30 a night), free high speed wifi, free breakfast, fitness center, communal deck where you can see the Space Needle (this was perfect for New Year's fireworks), indoor pool, AND a shuttle that takes you to and from downtown. I just got back from a last minute road trip to Seattle where I had the pleasure of staying at the Silver Cloud Inn at Lake Union. Not aware of Seattle's super busy summer tourist season, I had searched every site available for a hotel that met both my vacation needs and my budget. I usually look for hotels with at least a 4-star rating, marble tubs, on-site dining, and a bar. And during Seattle's high season, these rooms were waaay over my budget. The Silver Cloud was the most affordable, decent looking place...So although I was grateful for the last minute room at the price paid, I wasn't totally sold on the place. Until I got there. We arrived for a late check in and were greeted warmly by the front desk, instructed as to the best place to park the car in the garage FOR FREE, and were told of the time and place of the complimentary breakfast. We also were told about the FREE SHUTTLE at our disposal. My room, had a Space Needle view, two queen beds, a sofa, desk, microwave and fridge. The room was spotless, modern and comfortable. The bathroom, although small, had a shower/tub combo, and the water pressure was amazing. In the mornings, my room did a get a little loud, as it was right next to the free breakfast hall. Undeterred by the noise, I simply woke up, put on some sweats, walked next door and grabbed some grub, then came back to my room and ate on the balcony overlooking the lake. After my free waffle breakfast, I'd shower and hop on the shuttle to go one of it's three stops: the Seattle Center, Pike Place Market, or Pioneer Square. After a day of meandering through the city, I'd simply call the shuttle for a pickup and they'd come get me usually within 15 minutes. A great deal, considering a cab to and from Pioneer Square ran about $12. So, how did I deal with no onsite restaurant or bar, you ask? Well, the hotel is located across the street from a little marina area that has not 1 but 3 pubs that I found and a good selection of small restaurants...none of those national chains, either. There's also a high end steak place, Daniels, that Paul the shuttle driver recommended to me. When he asked if I had reservations, which I didn't, he called for me and set up my dinner plans. Thanks Paul! Bottom line, if you're driving into Seattle for some touristy action, stay at the Silver Cloud. You can park your car for free in a secured garage, use the free shuttle service to take you to where you want to go, and be treated very well by a professional, helpful staff. Just got back from Seattle and I was super happy with Silver Cloud. We booked it for the price, free parking, wifi, room fridge, microwave and breakfast and I didn't have high expectations on the room decor since the pics on their site don't really do it justice. I was pleasantly surprised with the room, it wasn't as outdated as I anticipated. The staff were super nice and we couldn't have stayed at a better place. True there's not much going on around there but you can drive like 7 mins and be in the Queen Anne area, it's still conveniently located and not totally traffic laden like it is downtown. Silver cloud inn Lake Union was awesome! We stayed here for 9 nights and the location is perfect. Right by the freeway on/off ramps and right outside of downtown. They have a free shuttle to take you to space needle and downtown. We had a car for some of the days - so the free parking was a plus for us. The other days we didn't have a car - we explored downtown area and activities and used the free shuttle. The other plus was the free breakfast daily! The sausage they served was delicious. They had yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, ham and sausage, waffles, toast/bagels and fruit. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The shuttle drivers had the best personality and were the nicest and most helpful. They were always willing to go the extra mile to help and so cheerful and friendly! We ate at the 2 restaurants nearby - Daniels broiler (best steak and jumbo shrimp cocktail ever - but expensive) they have a happy hour but couldn't take advantage since we had 2 kids. Also ate at Joey's - that was pretty good also. We had a suite room where there was a fireplace and pull out sofa bed - the room was very spacious. The extra room came in handy with the kids. We will definitely be back here when we visit Seattle again. read more

Clean, decorated in modern colors, right across from the lake. Priced reasonable. Very quiet. Free breakfast comes with and indoor garage parking is inexpensive with in and out privileges. Wifi is fast and free. It's in an area that you need to pay attention to with directions as the streets change names and there are one ways and two ways and forced turns etc. The gas fireplace is a nice touch. Room was roomy. Front desk was accomodating. There's an Indoor pool and hot tub. It was open 24 hours which is also nice. Not too far from downtown. It's a chain so mostly predictable but they seemed to have thought of all the extra amenities. Safe area. I personally like locally owned, one of a kind hotels better but that's just me. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I really wanted to rave about this place. The staff was really chill, and they all seemed really friendly. I stayed with some friends for one night and the room was pretty awesome, very roomy and comfortable. I love the included parking, I never even used my car after we checked in, and there's a pretty large parking lot right outside of the hotel that wasn't too expensive. I also really liked how the hotel itself was away from a lot of hustle and bustle, but it was still walking distance from the Seattle Center. In fact my friends and I just walked over and used the monorail to get downtown. It was really nice not having to worry about parking, and it's definitely doable, as long as you're dressed for the weather. I think what really sold me on the place though, was what happened when we were about to go out for the night. We asked them if they could call a cab for us, and instead they offered to just drive us over to where we wanted to go. It definitely saved us a couple bucks and they were really cool about it too. This is definitely my go-to hotel from now on! read more
