    This Quest Diagnostics Lab was very delayed. Patients were very upset. Patients have been waiting…read morefor 30+ minutes past their appointment times. The waiting room was not very comfortable. But there was an outlet if you need to charge a device but there was only ONE. Bring a jacket, it's cold in the waiting room. They required masks but they didn't offer any. The check-in kiosks were not reliable, you need to make sure that your name appears on the TV screen that says who has checked in. I needed to check in multiple times before my name popped up. If you are even 5 minutes late, they will skip you and then you will be considered a walk in. So come on time. They will call your name when they are ready for you. It can be very quiet so pay attention. Overall...I came here because I didn't have a choice. I will check if I have other options in the future. Just be mindful to be on time and don't schedule anything immediately afterwards because it can be very delayed.

On this particular…read moreday, I was feeling very worried about my condition and really wanted to get an ultrasound in order to make an emergency decision. With the weekend coming up, I was unable to reach my own doctor and even Urgent care was booked for the rest of the week. I checked on Yelp and found Josephs great reviews and sent him a message about my condition. He immediately responded and told me he could make time at the end of his work day to help me do the ultrasound (knowing my condition). Whats really great is that I could pay out of the pocket at a great price without worrying about my medical insurance limitability, which most places will not take. On the same day, I drove to his office in the afternoon and met him. I told him about my worries and he was just so understanding, comforting and told me he would do his best to find any issues and would even provide a note to emergency in case he found something that needed immediate attention. As we went through the ultrasound he kept reassuring me about things, and did a super thorough scan of the area I was concerned about. He provided me with a lot of information, including images I could take home and a report that was sent to me within a few hours. I learned a lot about the scan and felt like I was under the care of someone who really wanted me to pull through. I feel he goes 100% in the work he does! I'm very grateful Joseph was there for me on this day and I don't know how I would have coped if I didn't find him here on Yelp. He is one of a kind and one of the Best there is in service and caring for patients. All around super cool person and truly a gem, Blessings!

He was very informative,answered all my questions, and explained the images with details. Smart Health Screening is an out-of-network provider under my insurance but I decided to go with it because nowadays honest and genuine customer care is hard to find. Keep up the great work Joseph. I highly recommend this business.

    I visited the Mountain View LabCorp site over the summer for a blood draw. I had ordered the test…read morethrough Ulta and I was very confused as to why LabCorp's Phlebotomist was drawing blood for Ulta? Inside the blood draw room, there were over 100 vials of patient's blood in sealed test tubes sitting upright in racks. Hmm. I wondered why these weren't in a refrigerator. I also was surprised that there were metal Lab Specimen pick up boxes bolted to the outside wall of the building. It was very hot the day I visited the lab and the sun was beating down on the Lab Specimen pick up boxes. One said LabCorp and the other said Quest. The Phlebotomist was very prompt and came out to get me in the lobby on time. She was very sweet. I did not have a good experience with the draw, however. She used a large gauge needle without a Butterfly. It felt like she hit a nerve, or tendon when she inserted the needle. Right after the draw, I had pain right below where she inserted the needle. When I opened an closed my arm it hurt. This continued for a month. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disease and my tissues are very fragile. I should have asked the Phlebotomist to use a smaller gauge needle, but I had forgotten. I share my experience with a UCSF Phlebotomist who told me that it sounded like the LabCorp Phlebotomist was in training, because it it standard procedure to use a smaller gauge needle on a very thin arm and a butterfly is always used, as well. When I think about the 100 + test tubes of patient's blood sitting on the counter, I wondered, if the way specimens are stored at this lab location, may have something to do with all of my tests be negative. It is food for thought.

I asked the technician how come Elcamino folks did not tell me about all these test and might have asked my doctor about it. I told them thank you very much for wasting 2 hours of my time. Does the technician makes a call on my health or will my Doctor call on my Health. who gives the radiology technician this much freedom to make a decision not to take the mammogram. I am not going back. I feel like this place is collecting $$$$$

    my physician prescribed an Abdominal CT scan at the El Camino hospital imaging center. few weeks…read morelater after the procedure, I got a bill of $14000 for a simple 15 minutes CT scan. The same procedure costs around $1500 at other imaging centers close by. My insurance pays ~$7000. I contacted the billing department and agents all said that hospital imaging service is just plain expensive and I should have asked the cost before signing the paper that I am responsible for the cost. However, I was never told ahead of time that I should get an estimate. This kind of predatory billing practice by the hospital is just plain wrong and everyone will just end up paying more, a lot more than the market rate. I reached out to my insurance company to file an appeal but there is nothing much they can do since they can't change the billing from the provider. I messaged back and forth with the billing department to no veil and the last agent even hung up on me!!!! I finally reach out to the customer experience line at El Camino Hospital and the agent is polite and professional. He takes my complains and promised that he will reach out to the director of the imaging center. I have a feeling that I will end up swallowing the bill but it is a lesson well learned.

Jeffrey was great and explained the process thoroughly. Obviously the brick and mortar version is much more spacious than the van. There's also lots of parking space on the adjacent lot behind the building. I would recommend stocking up on packages when they offer a sale. I think I purchase one during Black Friday, so just makes it a little more worth it.

    I had a very frustrating experience with BodySpec and would not recommend them if you care about…read moreaccuracy and consistency in your body composition data. My report initially contained a confirmed processing error. After I pointed it out, they "reanalyzed" the same scan and uploaded corrected results -- but the numbers for the exact same scan date (October 26, 2025) are different between the old and new reports. This includes different body fat percentages and lean mass values for the same scan, which should never happen. Despite this, they insist the updated results are "accurate" and refused to offer a complimentary rescan. What's more frustrating is that when I asked for clear validation (what exactly went wrong, what changed, and why the two reports still show different data), they avoided directly answering the most important question: why the same scan still produces conflicting results across reports. That lack of transparency is unacceptable. If a company cannot guarantee consistent results from the same scan, then the reliability of their entire service is questionable. I rely on these scans to track real progress, and this experience has completely undermined my confidence in their data. Reply to BodySpec: Once again, I want to re-emphasize that you've changed the results for the same scan THREE times!! Imagine if I had trusted your data from the beginning and never contacted your team to look into it -- I would have been relying on the wrong data. What's the point of doing the scan if the data is incorrect? All I'm asking is for you to compensate for YOUR MISTAKE by allowing me to have a complimentary rescan, and I'll let this go. But your customer service has dodged my question and is essentially saying "trust me on the data." How can I trust it after my data has changed THREE TIMES?
