With the weekend coming up, I was unable to reach my own doctor and even Urgent care was booked for the rest of the week. I checked on Yelp and found Josephs great reviews and sent him a message about my condition. He immediately responded and told me he could make time at the end of his work day to help me do the ultrasound (knowing my condition). Whats really great is that I could pay out of the pocket at a great price without worrying about my medical insurance limitability, which most places will not take. On the same day, I drove to his office in the afternoon and met him. I told him about my worries and he was just so understanding, comforting and told me he would do his best to find any issues and would even provide a note to emergency in case he found something that needed immediate attention. As we went through the ultrasound he kept reassuring me about things, and did a super thorough scan of the area I was concerned about. He provided me with a lot of information, including images I could take home and a report that was sent to me within a few hours. I learned a lot about the scan and felt like I was under the care of someone who really wanted me to pull through. I feel he goes 100% in the work he does! I'm very grateful Joseph was there for me on this day and I don't know how I would have coped if I didn't find him here on Yelp. My report initially contained a confirmed processing error. After I pointed it out, they "reanalyzed" the same scan and uploaded corrected results -- but the numbers for the exact same scan date (October 26, 2025) are different between the old and new reports. This includes different body fat percentages and lean mass values for the same scan, which should never happen. Despite this, they insist the updated results are "accurate" and refused to offer a complimentary rescan. What's more frustrating is that when I asked for clear validation (what exactly went wrong, what changed, and why the two reports still show different data), they avoided directly answering the most important question: why the same scan still produces conflicting results across reports. That lack of transparency is unacceptable. If a company cannot guarantee consistent results from the same scan, then the reliability of their entire service is questionable. I rely on these scans to track real progress, and this experience has completely undermined my confidence in their data. Reply to BodySpec: Once again, I want to re-emphasize that you've changed the results for the same scan THREE times!! Imagine if I had trusted your data from the beginning and never contacted your team to look into it -- I would have been relying on the wrong data. What's the point of doing the scan if the data is incorrect? All I'm asking is for you to compensate for YOUR MISTAKE by allowing me to have a complimentary rescan, and I'll let this go. She offered me with her direct line number and suggested me to arrange a direct converstaion between my claim handler and herself. my physician prescribed an Abdominal CT scan at the El Camino hospital imaging center. few weeks…read morelater after the procedure, I got a bill of $14000 for a simple 15 minutes CT scan. The same procedure costs around $1500 at other imaging centers close by. My insurance pays ~$7000. I contacted the billing department and agents all said that hospital imaging service is just plain expensive and I should have asked the cost before signing the paper that I am responsible for the cost. However, I was never told ahead of time that I should get an estimate. This kind of predatory billing practice by the hospital is just plain wrong and everyone will just end up paying more, a lot more than the market rate. I reached out to my insurance company to file an appeal but there is nothing much they can do since they can't change the billing from the provider. I messaged back and forth with the billing department to no veil and the last agent even hung up on me!!!! I finally reach out to the customer experience line at El Camino Hospital and the agent is polite and professional. He takes my complains and promised that he will reach out to the director of the imaging center. I have a feeling that I will end up swallowing the bill but it is a lesson well learned.

Easy dropoff access for those with mobility issues. Lovely neighborhood pocket park right around the corner should you need a place to just breathe. There is also a charging station for phones and tablets.

Came here because SimonMed imaging randomly changed my appointment without my consent twice. So…read moredecided to switch to give this place a try. The entrance is at the back of the building. The waiting room is spacious. It seems pretty busy and had to wait in line to be checked-in. After you are brought inside, the technician is very nice and double-checked the paperwork. The imaging process is good and technician is nice. One of them even caught a minor paperwork issue and went back to the front desk to have it corrected. For the front desk, service quality isn't consistent and depends on who you get. Vianey is very helpful and knowledgeable. I asked for the X-ray report to be mailed to me and she was able to help me with that. However, when I came another time for MRI and asked for the MRI report to be mailed to me, another lady told me they no longer do it and told me it hasn't been done for a few year. She just tried to brush me off and give me a bunch of BS that they don't do do it anymore. Too bad I didn't get her name (she is Caucasian, has long no light color hair and skinny). Either she's super lazy or she wasn't trained properly. Even if she doesn't know, she could have asked her colleagues. I told her Vianey helped me with such request before and she didn't bother asking others or Vianey at all. Removing a couple stars for her bad attitude. All she has is a pretty face but not helpful.

One day later after receiving the go-ahead from my insurance company Valley radiology called me back and made an appointment. They sent me a pre-registration form via email and text., when I came in today from my 1pm appointment; they brought me to the back room at 1pm for my MRI.
