There is also a charging station for phones and tablets.

On this particular…read moreday, I was feeling very worried about my condition and really wanted to get an ultrasound in order to make an emergency decision. With the weekend coming up, I was unable to reach my own doctor and even Urgent care was booked for the rest of the week. I checked on Yelp and found Josephs great reviews and sent him a message about my condition. He immediately responded and told me he could make time at the end of his work day to help me do the ultrasound (knowing my condition). Whats really great is that I could pay out of the pocket at a great price without worrying about my medical insurance limitability, which most places will not take. On the same day, I drove to his office in the afternoon and met him. I told him about my worries and he was just so understanding, comforting and told me he would do his best to find any issues and would even provide a note to emergency in case he found something that needed immediate attention. As we went through the ultrasound he kept reassuring me about things, and did a super thorough scan of the area I was concerned about. He provided me with a lot of information, including images I could take home and a report that was sent to me within a few hours. I learned a lot about the scan and felt like I was under the care of someone who really wanted me to pull through. I feel he goes 100% in the work he does! I'm very grateful Joseph was there for me on this day and I don't know how I would have coped if I didn't find him here on Yelp. Because they are doing your whole body the timing/sequence of their imaging is faster than diagnostic so they miss a lot. I don't want to say that people will not find a few things and it is a quick way to get general information that can help you with your health decisions so if you have the money perhaps but it's very limited, I personally might do it once every 5 years or so but not sure I will spend that kind of money annually unless they can improve the technology for scanning within a one hour time block and given the position you are laying in because that also impacts what they can tell you. They did find one thing for me for follow up and I know someone else where they found one thing for follow up.

This year my husband needed an MRI on his knee. We waited over a week for his doctor's office to get approval from our insurance company. With no approval in sight, I decided to make an appointment with CA Advanced Imagining just to get our name in the appointment book. I told Andrea about the wait time for our approval - she got our information and called our insurance and got approval in less than two hours! I'm so grateful for this since my husband has been limping around and in pain for days. I feel that although the doctor's office said our insurance was "pending" and they can take up to 7 business days to approve, I don't think the called it in at all since Andrea got in done in two hours. Husband was in and out in an hour and he's giving the place a thumbs up too.

I've had 3-4 MRI's here, the most recent being today. Contrary to the other people's reviews, I've found the staff overwhelmingly friendly and nice. I have never had to reschedule an appointment, nor have I shown up and had the appointment changed/cancelled...so I can't speak to those reviews. Since it's scheduled through SOAR, you make your appointment at SOAR so you don't really interact with CAI's schedulers yourself really. I like that they offer you music to listen to throughout the experience(a very wide variety: rock, country, classical, etc. all kept up to date) and I find the facilities nice and clean. However, what knocks this place down stars is the quality of the MRI itself. I've had MRI's from a number of other places in the bay area and I think CAI's machines are the most uncomfortable ones I've been in. Not to say that MRI's are ever great experiences, but these are particularly bad. The table that you lay on gets completely wobbled when the MRI machine is in action, which causes your arms and hands to become tingly/numb...making it very hard to remain still. If you put your hands on your stomach, with your elbows still resting on the board, sometimes it becomes very painful as the board shakes and irritates your funny bone/arm bones. The board also has a sandpaper like texture to it, so I would say it's quite uncomfortable against my back, even though they lay down paper on it and I'm wearing a gown. It feels like your skin is on gravel. And finally, though it's nice that they offer you music, their headphones are really uncomfortable. Something about the way they hook up to the machine, it's difficult to lay your head straight while wearing them. So often I find my neck in pain as I agree to a kind of awkward head position that I can't move for the duration of the MRI. Basically, this is a fine place but not the best. If I didn't have to go here, however, I wouldn't.

Also, I got too many calls and texts from them to come in. The RWC receptionist told me that I could go to the Montainview office. It's very close to my gym so I went. Based on all the negative reviews re: rudeness, long waiting time, etc. I expected the worst. I couldn't have been more wrong. The receptionist, Audrey, I believe, was warm and friendly, and so was the x-ray tech, Kathrina. I didn't even have to wait a minute. They took me right in. In fact, Kathrina was so friendly we ended up talking for about 10 minutes after the x-ray (which went very smoothly and professionally) was over (no one else was waiting for an x-ray). I ended up having a VERY positive experience, contrary to so many of these reviews.

I called my dental insurance couple of times trying to explain the situation but that didn't work out. So I called Reveal Diagnostics seeking for help. Turned out that was a great move! My phone call to Reveal Diagnostics was answered by Elyse. After I briefly explained my situation, Elyse immediately provided the help that I needed most. She offered me with her direct line number and suggested me to arrange a direct converstaion between my claim handler and herself. After a quick conversation between them, my problem was resolved to my satisfaction. I'm very impressed by Elyse's professionalism and customer care experiences. I will definitely share this story with my friends and recommend Reveal Diagnostics if they need the similar services.

I got a referral for an X-ray from my PCP. This company then proceeds to spam you with text…read moremessages and voicemails saying go walk in for an X-ray appointment. You cannot make an appointment online for an X-ray - you will not be able to proceed further and it says go walk in. I tried to walk in today (Wednesday) at this clinic but then they said sorry they don't do X-rays at this location on Wednesdays. Ok.... This was not mentioned on their website anywhere for this location. I asked the front desk if other sites have X-rays today and she mentioned San Mateo "but only until like 12:30 PM or so because the tech goes around" What is the point of advertising that you can walk in anytime for X-rays when in fact the availability could be quite limited / unavailable and you wouldn't really know until you get there? Their website has an "X-ray queue" and right now it says 1 waiting for this location but they're certainly not waiting for an X-ray today since they're supposedly closed for X-rays today. What is happening! I'll try again and will try to report back on the actual experience but beware don't come to this clinic on Wednesdays for a walk in X-ray since it'll be a waste of time. UPDATE: I tried calling this clinic to double check they were open and were doing X-rays but it seemed hard to get a hold of the front desk staff. It seemed like I was being sent to a call center "next available agent" which is not super helpful, so I hung up and decided to just drive back again the next day. I was able to come back the next day and the process was generally smooth. They took my insurance and I only had to pay a $10 fee (hopefully no giant surprise bill later). The actual X-rays only took like 5 minutes not even and the tech was very courteous. Overall I would say a few improvements could be made: 1) the website needs to be updated to say don't come here on Wednesdays for X-rays because the tech is not here 2) the site should indicate any other limited availability (e.g. are X-rays actually available all day?) 3) make it easier to actually reach the front desk via phone for basic questions. 4) I think 1 text / reminder call is probably sufficient. I got 4 texts and 3 voicemails in the span of two days.
