Great customer service from the front desk to the nursing assistant and physician assistant. I had to come back to get an ultrasound since I had a small bump on the back of my ear - and the ultrasound tech was nice. My only complaint is the waiting room is small and not a fun place to sit possibly really sick people with colds. On this particular…read moreday, I was feeling very worried about my condition and really wanted to get an ultrasound in order to make an emergency decision. With the weekend coming up, I was unable to reach my own doctor and even Urgent care was booked for the rest of the week. I checked on Yelp and found Josephs great reviews and sent him a message about my condition. He immediately responded and told me he could make time at the end of his work day to help me do the ultrasound (knowing my condition). Whats really great is that I could pay out of the pocket at a great price without worrying about my medical insurance limitability, which most places will not take. On the same day, I drove to his office in the afternoon and met him. I told him about my worries and he was just so understanding, comforting and told me he would do his best to find any issues and would even provide a note to emergency in case he found something that needed immediate attention. As we went through the ultrasound he kept reassuring me about things, and did a super thorough scan of the area I was concerned about. He provided me with a lot of information, including images I could take home and a report that was sent to me within a few hours. I learned a lot about the scan and felt like I was under the care of someone who really wanted me to pull through. I feel he goes 100% in the work he does! I'm very grateful Joseph was there for me on this day and I don't know how I would have coped if I didn't find him here on Yelp. The lab staff are focused on taking samples and running tests. You must "sign in" at the hospital main registration. On weekdays, this is near the front door of the hospital, not far at all from the lab, so it's convenient. On the weekends, however, the front registration desk is closed. Instead, you register for your lab test at the ER department. This is at the opposite end of the hospital down a very long corridor. If walking a distance is not a problem for you, it's a good bit of exercise. If you are mobility challenged in any way, and you are going to the lab on the weekend, you may want to do a two-step process. Drive to the ER, register, go back to your car and navigate on city streets to the front of the hospital, park again, and go get your lab work done.
