I would definitely recommend this place. Having a radiologist in the room during your exam and not behind a computer screen was SUPER helpful for why I went there. Having someone to openly discuss care with (even though my regular OBGYN wrote the referral) was a game changer. Yes, the parking was strange. Yes, the party happening between my legs in stirrups with 3 people was... different. But truly having a dialogue with medical professionals in that situation really made all the difference. I went for an abdomen ultrasound and got a callback from Dr Raman in next couple hours discussing about my reports. Dr Raman is very knowledgeable, expert and very importantly, empathetic and listened to all my concerns and replied to everything to my satisfaction. I have never seen this level of treatment anywhere else. Staff is nice and listen to concerns faced and do due diligence in their work. They truly care about their patients. The clinic staff are friendly, however due to reasons unknown to me, from the patient side of the experience, the office feels unprofessional. For two appointments, despite us having sent our insurance and doctor's referral ahead of time, the staff said they did not have it both times. We also had to wait 45 minutes after our appointment time because the doctor came in late. At no point did any staff keep us updated for how much longer we would have to wait, nor did they explain the reason they were running behind. Furthermore, despite saying they would send the time-sensitive ultrasound information back to my doctor the same day, they did not, resulting in further distress on my part. They failed to send the ultrasound report in a timely manner twice in a row. Extremely displeased and disappointed. read more

I got referred to MedPixel and overall, had a good experience! I got the pleasure of working with both Dr. Ramans (husband and wife), and both were friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable throughout my procedure. Making an appointment online was quick and easy, location was also easy to find with plenty of parking. However, I have to dock a star due to some confusion and miscommunication concerning insurance coverage; the staff at the front are nice and patient, however, what one staff told me was different from what another staff informed me at an earlier time. Additionally, they were unable to locate my referral, which was a little stressful. Other than that, I had a good experience at Medpixel and would recommend going to them for your xrays! read more

Xray technician was very nice. The wait was around 1 hour on a Wednesday at 11:30. They take walk ins, which is what I did. I like that this place picks up their phone. Wow this place was a surprise! I found it on yelp and picked it based on the great reviews. Came for a walk-in xray and was seen relatively quickly due to a cancellation. Dr Raman is awesome! He is super knowledgeable and easily managed and explained some of the more unusual xray views that my knee doc requested - something that PAMF xray dept was super confused by. Then after the xray Dr Raman spent time reviewing the pictures with me in detail and pointing things out - again, something you don't get at PAMF. I was able to get both a dvd and emailed copies of my X-rays. I'm so glad I took a chance on this place! I would definitely come back here. Do note that it's best to make an appointment with their online form, which is super easy - they take walk-ins but there can be a wait. read more

Today I've went to urgent care to have my right hand checked out. I tell them situation. After the urgent care they referred me to MediPixels Radiology. I Check on yelp if they're open. It stated the time from 10:30am-3:00p.m but I arrive there around 12:20 my thought maybe they're on lunch. I came back hour later still weren't open. At least put a sign that they're close today for some reason. So I called and left a call back number with my name and number on voicemail. Apparently, one of staff member call me around 4. And the number don't match on number on yelp. Individual on other line as me to take a picture of my insurance and ID. I wasn't comfortable with it . It doesn't add up to me. At least call me before closing and not afterwards. If the issue can be resolved then i will give a better rating. read more

I had a wonderful experience with my HSG procedure. Scheduling was quick and easy. I was even able to get an appointment within the same week I called. From the moment I arrived, everything was clearly explained step-by-step, which helped me feel calm and prepared. They also allow your spouse to be in the room with you during the procedure, which was really comforting. Beforehand, I watched videos where many people described the procedure as painful, but for me it was very manageable. I'd rate the discomfort around a 5/10 (and I have a low pain tolerance). It felt like a strong menstrual cramp that lasted only a few seconds, and the entire procedure was done within about 5-10 minutes. Afterward, Dr. Pavi provided a pad and paper towels and let me know to expect some fluid once I stood up. I had mild cramping for the rest of the day, but no ongoing pain after that. Dr. Pavi even checked in the following day to see how I was doing, which I truly appreciated. If anyone is considering an HSG, I would 100% recommend this place! read more

Not your typical radiology scan and out, you actually can have a convo and ask questions, AND get advice and guidance. My doctor had told me they (MedPixel) are good and I thought "sure, I have been to radiology places before where they give you vague feedback and tell you to wait for your doctor to give you the result", instead you get an actual MD, Dr Raman, who is not only MORE than a radiology technician (he is a real freaking doctors folks), he will come do his own quick scan of critical areas, give hints to his techs, PLUS, he is an experienced former surgeon (doesn't do surgery anymore) and can dumb things down and give you advice on your general health. So I went in for an ultrasound but ended up talking for 15 more minutes talking about many different health items like fatty liver, his own personal experience with diabetes, diet, and Cricket! Dr. Pavi Raman was amazing when she did my HSG ultrasound. I was nervous going into the ultrasound because I had heard that the procedure can be painful. But that was the furthest thing from my experience. Dr. Raman walked me through each step before doing something and constantly checked to see if I was ok. The procedure itself overall felt like a very minor period cramp and it was over quickly. I also appreciated Dr. Raman checking in on me the next day to see how I was doing, which I've never had a doctor do before. Thank you again Dr. Raman for such a relaxing and simple ultrasound! Took my mom here for an x ray. They have lots of appointments available. Easy scheduling. We didnt wait very long. Doctor Raman was really throughout in explaining everything before, during and after the x ray. He is very knowledgeable. We did look him up and he has a pretty impressive medical background from Stanford med school. Takes his time and didnt rush us. The next day we got a prompt report from him and was happy with it. My only feed back will be with the front desk. I dont know who helped me at the time when I was on the phone but the person didnt have much knowledge about the facility and didnt seem to understand patients really well when I asked for information. I have been seeing Dr. Raghav Raman for months now for my IVF imaging needs. He has the best bedside manner, is very thorough with his exams, and so respectful. He explains everything and puts you at ease, even if it may not be good news. Whenever I had to reschedule appts or shift dates around last minute, the staff was so helpful in making accommodations and didn't give me grief. I can't recommend his office enough. read more

Very disappointed w this place. I actually had the chance to talk to the owner of this place. I made an appt in advance and i get a text like 6pm night before that they can't see me at the scheduled time. that the only person who can do a simple xray is the MD. most place charge for last min cancellations what about the reverse? yea they apologize, what does an apology do? absolutely nothing cuz i stopped my search of an xray place cuz i had high hopes of seeing this friendly MD yet i get the boot less than 24hrs prior to my appt time and i now have to waste time looking for a new place. their hours suck. they dont open til like 10 and last appt is 2.30? i'm already booking a 2.30 yet they want to cancel on me and wanto offer me lunch time appts. I personally don't mind but it's my kid who needs it and i have to be more considerate of her school hrs and mid day pick ups. if they are a real practice they'd have more normal hours of like 8 or 9am to 4 or 5pm! read more

Amazing service & insights! My pains were explained, fears relieved, and their advice has even improved a chronic problem I've been having! Scheduling online was exceptionally easy, as was payment (even though they were just recovering from an internet outage). There were no surprise charges. I showed up a few minutes early and check-in was quick. The seating area was small but I wasn't there for long. The tech led me to my room and explained everything that was going to happen overall and as the first steps (love it). There was a bathroom connected to the exam room to make changing and urination easy and private. The tech was very gentle and responsive to my needs. (I got a pelvic ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound to examine some ovary pain.) After she completed the initial exams, both doctors (a husband-wife team) came in, checked the initial imaging, and then rechecked certain parts just to be sure. They explained everything they were seeing, and their questions showed me that they really understood this condition. In fact, they recommended a particular supplement to address a related issue (chronic iron deficiency) and since using it, my symptoms have lessened and my bloodwork results have improved. Afterwards, I waited in the office for a CD with all the images (so much better than waiting for Sutter or Kaiser to mail it after 3 weeks!) and the doctors emailed me their write-up a day later. Although there was a fair bit of waiting involved during the exam and for the CD, the whole thing was still only 1hr 20 minutes total -- and well worth it. read more

I went to MedPixels for a SneakPeak test in May 2024. Dr. Raman helped me with the test. The scheduling is very fast and convenient from their website or calling the office. During the process, Dr. Raman is very patient. She answered my questions and explained everything clearly. She also offered a free 3d/4d ultrasound for me at 16-26 weeks. I went for the ultrasound in week 19 yesterday. Again, the MedPixels team is very professional. My husband and I are excited to meet our baby and see his activity and entertainment in the little space. Everything is assuring. MedPixels also gave us pictures during the 3d ultrasound on the same day without extra charge. I would come in again if I need an ultrasound later in the third trimester or any other future life events. If you are planning on getting a sneakpeak scan make sure you call them and confirm if they have the equipment. We drove for 40mins and then they tell us their equipment is expired. This is after they charged us. They refunded the money but definitely felt the people running the place were incompetent as they failed to perform the basic check if the equipment has expired. read more

I've suffered from abdomen pain for a long time, and they were able to help me find the pain spot inside my abdomen and describe to me what was going on. Tennis is excellent care and friendly. She was gentle and always asked if I felt okay during my ultrasound. Even though English is not my native language, they were very patient and listened to my symptom and helped me diagnose. After I got home, I received my ultrasound result with a detailed description of everything, and I was amazed by Dr. Raman's note. I've gotten one before for the same issue where I wasn't sure what was going on with my body and was previously told, I'm fine with no explanation. I'm giving Medpixels three stars. While the frontline staff are competent, the info passed along to me by the insurance/billing staff was garbled and incorrect. Further, I was not able to speak with billing, nor was I able to pass along info that the imaging my doctor ordered is covered under insurance. I ended up canceling my appointment as I was not equipped to pay out of pocket. A disappointing experience after a lot of research to locate a trustworthy imaging practice. read more

Their contact center/ customer service SUCKS!!! No one even picks up the phone at their local office so it gets routed. I had to call 5-6 times TRYING to get an answer on insurance/ billing. I was advised to also email them and so I did, and still nothing... If you're going to route calls to a contact center, give them the resources instead of supposedly taking messages that aren't even being properly relayed. Waste of time Also, one of the several times I called, a girl name Maria, told me to call right back after we hang up since she wasn't the one who tried calling me back with my inquiry and can't help me. She told me that the call would get re-routed right back to the girl who tried to get ahold of me. How lousy and lazy is that!? When I called right back, it was a completely different person. Maria can't hate her job that much right to not even ask me what she can help me with.. I was just inquiring on services for my mom. What a joke read more
