Dr. Ponedelnikov has been my PCP for several years. He is very knowledgeable, competent, caring, compassionate and detail oriented. He takes his time to know you as a patient. Would choose 0 stars if possible. Strongly suggest avoiding this provider. A family member of mine recently had a new patient appointment with her as they had to find a new physician. After their visit, I spoke to them on the phone and they shared how hurtful and upsetting their visit was. Specifically, they shared that the way she communicated about their health not only felt unhelpful, but extremely hurtful. They felt judged and surprised when she suggested various recommendations for being overweight without asking any real questions about lifestyle, weight management throughout their life, successes, challenges, etc. She jumped to extreme solutions like a liquid diet and surgery, when overeating has never been something they have struggled with. They told me over the phone, pausing as they cried, "If I wasn't mentally stable, I would have left and killed myself." This was not something they had ever said before so wasn't them being dramatic - it was because their time with Dr. Borodulin was so painful. It was also shared that the Medical Assistant was extremely unprofessional, not saying anything when they came into the room to take BP and then yelling the numbers down the hall. I am a former Health Center manager, as well as a public health professional. I am also the wife of a physician. I understand patient care, the training physicians go through, and the responsibilities physicians have to their patients. Flippantly suggesting surgery without discussing previous challenges or success is absurd, as is suggesting a liquid diet for fast weight loss. I cannot stress enough what a terrible experience this provider created and would avoid seeing them at all costs. read more

Dr. Borodulin is an amazing doctor. She literally saved my life few years ago by catching a problem early.. She is really great diagnostician because of her amazing attention to detail. Not many doctors are able to pay attention to many small details as well to see the whole person, I think she is really smart and one time she caught a medication mistake that my cardiologist made. I feel that her recommendations are always right on target. I trust her. She has great communication skills, always patiently answering all my questions. Her staff is friendly and helpful. I have been going to Dr. Borodulin for the past 20 years, and I always new that I've got a great doctor by my side for any health issue, big or small. I was referred here a few years ago by a fellow Yelper and am truly grateful to her. There are 3 doctors within this practice and it doesn't matter which one you see because they're all very thorough and caring. They bring their laptop in with them to review your history when you're being seen. I never feel rushed or uncomfortable either. The waits are never too long and parking is plentiful. Located in a shopping lot between Nob Hill Supermarket and Big 5 Sporting Goods. Big Lots is across the street. read more

My whole family has been with Dr Borodulin ever since she and her team came to this clinic about a decade ago. She is a perfect combination of responsibility and care and always. I can give one example, out of many visits during the past decade: After careful review of my family medical history she suggested my wife to do colonoscopy and that discovered an early sign of cancer and removed the pulp. We forgot the due time to do colonoscopy without her remind. She has been always able to make sound medical judgement when seeing us. We have been with this Clinic for about 2 decades(Dr Edward Dewees retired about 10 years ago there) and the current staff team is very kind and professional in handling all queries/insurances/referrals. I recently moved back to town, and as a former patient of CFP and Dr. Borodulin, I was eager to choose her again as my PCP. I called today and asked if CFP takes my insurance. It turns out that they do not, which - while unfortunate - is hardly the fault of CFP or the receptionist / nurse on the phone. I said that I had had such a good experience there, and, since I needed to see a doctor after a recent ER trip, I was willing to pay cash for one visit. I was informed that it was illegal to take cash. I hadn't heard of this before, but/so I asked if there was anyway CFP could see me, even once. The person on the phone was engaging in other conversations besides mine, and so she said, "Well, we have to-- *crosstalk* -- CLICK." And she hung up on me. Glad I tried so hard to get back into CFP. You can really feel the love for former patients there. *smh* read more

I've been with Dr Borodulin when she started out in the office near the Pruneyard. From the beginning she provided me with the best care and professionalism . Her diagnoses have been always accurate and precise. Through her care I overcame life threatening conditions. She would go the extra mile to achieve certainty with the appropriate treatment. Stella, Karla, Star and Jessica have been, always kind, patient and gracious. They've worked there for many, many years, which tells me Dr Borodulin is a good employer and her staff has responded with loyalty and total cooperation. In closing, after trying many times to set up an appointment for the Covid-19 vaccine and only been able to get it for March, Jessica helped me and my husband to get the vaccine for the third and fourth February. I see Dr. Michael Ponedelnikov at Campbell Family Practice. I am a big fan. I like his manner and thoughtful approach to medicine. The staff at the office are friendly, though they can get very busy with phone calls. Be patient if calling on the phone. The doctors sometimes run late, but the reason is they spend whatever time is necessary with each patient, rather than just churning through and watching the clock. Highly recommend. read more

I will NEVER go back to Dr. T. Borodulin's office. My experience was terrible. It was my first-time visit so I came to Dr. T. Borodulin as a new patient for a medical examination, primarily to get blood work done which is 100 percent covered by my insurance as a preventive visit. Yet the doctor billed me as an office visit and charged me $181 despite that she's in the network or my insurance. In the office I waited for the doctor for 25 minutes in an empty room, then T. Borodulin came. Within a few minutes of the actual visit, she wrote me a referral for the annual blood work and asked a couple of questions regarding my health conditions. That's it, that was the end of my visit to the doctor, there were no consultations, treatment, or procedures carried out. This visit does not cost $181. I recommend finding a better doctor than T. Borodulin. Do not go there unless you have spare money to share with Dr. Borodulin. Seems like the office is more concerned about getting your money, and not treating patients. Stay away! I will never recommend this office. read more

Hard to find initially, it's on the left of nob hill foods and up the stairs. Parking is a breeze. The doctors are all really nice- I came for an ear infection, and one of the doctors cured me without any antibiotics! Made me so happy!! doctor Borodulin tells you how it is, provides more information than any other doctor ive ever seen, and in the quickest time. she is the perfect doctor, and makes me feel really informed and comfortable. Cannot believe that I did not write review earlier. I have been patient of doctors Borodulina and Ponedelnikov for a long time; along with my family. Doctors, along with their staff, Stella and Starr, are the most caring and professional healthcare providers I ever worked with. Routine care, emergencies, and everything in between - they are there for you. Making sure they understand the issues, never rushing, referring to the right specialists when needed, proactively following up on tests and vaccinations. Dr. Borodulina was my family doctor for almost 10 years until I noticed she doesn't care much for me as her patient. She basically does not treat me as patient. I like the doctor who thinks different from me and gives me suggestions. She is not this kind of doctor. She basically tells you what you want to hear. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Mikal Ponedelnikov at Campbell family Practice for around a year. He is an exceptionally thorough doctor who takes the time to listen and work with me and consider all possibilities. If I have any questions I am able to message the Dr. through their health portal and if he needs to speak to me directly he almost always calls by the end of the day. The office staff is excellent (for the most part) and there is usually very little wait times with only the odd exception. Overall Campbell Family Practice is an excellent choice for your medical care. read more

Wish I can give a good review. I have a friend who comes here and talks highly about the doctor. I have a high deductible HSA plan and I needed to know what the negotiated rate was before entering in. I called in and when I spoke to the lady on the phone she cut me off and told me that I needed to call their billing dept. and speak to Matt and he would let me know what their negotiated rate was. I called the number and left a message with a lady. Hours and hours passed. I called back at the end of the day. The lady told me that Matt left for the day and he would call me tomorrow. I asked if she could tell me the information and she placed me on hold. She got back on ans said that her supervisor told her that we do not process claims here and we do not give out that information. I told her I'm not trying to process a claim I'm trying to get a negotiated rate for a doctors visit. A regular physical. Can I speak to your supervisor. She transferred me to her supervisor and the lady had an attitude from the get go. She had an awful tone of voice and was very rude.... She did explain she couldn't give me just a negotiated rate just for a physical because there goes more with it (that I understand). But when I explained to her I haven't had this problem when I called other doctor offices, she said "well fine call all those offices and get your information from them then!". I told he she didn't need to get snippy with me she got quiet for a long time and then said is there anything else?! and then hung up on me.... Wow... just wow... All I wanted was to be a patient... and these people could not help me get to that point... I had actually mentioned that more than once to them and I even made Tatyana Borodulin my PCP online (which is why I was trying to set up an appointment) ... definitely don't want these people managing my medical finances. Now I'll have to find a new doctor to make my PCP which sucks because my friend highly recommended her. read more

I like Dr.Bourdolin and her direct no nonsense approach but there is no respect for patients time here. I have been waiting her for an hour , I came 6 minutes before my scheduled appointment time and it's been an hour and still no doctor. I am here to see a different physician today as Dr.Bourdolin was not available. I was told he was running 15 mins late but this is no where close to 15 mins. Been here 60 and all I hear is "he will be with you shortly". I have half a mind to walk out of this place. Conveniently they collect the Copay in the beginning. Absolute disregard to the patients time and I find that appaling! read more

I saw Dr Michael Ponedelnikov July 2019. He was so nice! He took his time with me, I did not feel rushed. He listened to everything I had to say, asked if I had any questions. I work in health care so I know what a balance it is to move through patients without making them feel rushed. I called in to make an appt. at 9 am for my severe cough. They put me in at 10:30 am. I miss Dr. DeWees, That said, I like Dr. Ponedelnikov very much, but avoid Dr. Bourodulin. She is arrogant, a poor listener, and disrespectful to the patient. Nor have I found her to be particularly helpful-probably because she has a poor personality for a PCP. She may know medicine, but there is more to medicine than that. read more

I have been coming to this practice for over ten years now. Dr Borodulyn is our family physician. She is by far the BEST physician we have been blessed to have. She is extremely caring, very thorough, precise with her diagnosis, does not hesitate to refer the patient to a specialist and work alongside them to achieve desired treatment plan. She is a straight shooter and treats you with respect and dignity. She and her entire staff are very kind and have great follow up. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to speak to her patients outside surgery hours and discuss lab results and treatment plan as needed and to give the patient peace of mind. Stella, Karla, Star and the rest of the nursing team are real sweethearts, very caring and professional. I look forward to my visits with Dr Borodulin and her staff. There is always ample parking, I have not had to wait long, and everyone has been very accommodating to schedule us in in cases of emergency or on short notice. She is an exceptional physician, very knowledgeable and she goes out of her way for her patients. She will even make home calls if there is a very serious issue at hand. She was able to get me into an emergency procedure same day even though they were booked. She listens to what you have to say, understands your concerns, and helps to get you to good health. Her staff always tries their best to accommodate your schedule and squeeze you in for emergency appointments.
