He thoroughly arranged the necessary tests, including MRI, biopsy, and PSMA PET/CT, which led to a clear and timely diagnosis. Because I was concerned about the risk of infection, I specifically requested a transperineal (TP) biopsy, and Dr. Shinghal was very receptive and performed it without issue. I truly appreciated how he listened to my concerns and accommodated my request. After the cancer was confirmed, he took the time to clearly explain the available treatment options, discussing both the benefits and potential concerns of each. This helped me make an informed and confident decision about my treatment. His recommendation of Dr. Yao for surgery was excellent and made a meaningful difference in my overall care and outcome. Dr. Shinghal is professional, thoughtful, and genuinely patient-centered. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy urologist.

Everything was explained clearly before it was done and there was absolutely no pain or discomfort. The lidocaine gel numbed the area beforehand where probe was inserted. I cannot emphasize enough that Doctor takes time to explain and is a good listener too! A few weeks back I had the opposite experience with another Urologist at the same Mtn. View location who dismissed the problem I had, arguing that it didn't exist and it was probably only a UTI. I left that appmt feeling despondent and told my Primary care, who took me seriously and made an immediate referral to Dr. Seufert. If you are looking for someone who is friendly, professional and diligent to find whatever problem you have, he will dig (pardon the pun) deep enough and you will know with certainty what your diagnosis is. He is already referring me for further assessment for an MRI. I was seen due to Red blood cells in my urine lab tests several times, which are not a UTI. The prep time for a cystoscopy and all the questions from the nurse take about 15 mins. but the actual procedure took maybe 5 mins., during which time Dr. Seifert tells you what he is seeing on the monitor. My test involved looking up urethra into the bladder. My close friend who is also my caregiver was able to sit in during the procedure and watch everything on the monitor, which was not visible to me since it was above my head. Since you are covered with sheets, etc. you will still have modesty. Dr. Seufert has excellent bedside manner, and guaranteed to put you at ease! The photo of him on here does not do him justice, he is better looking than the photo!

Dr. Nudell's manners and professionalism were impeccable. Had a complication with my catheter bag 5 hours after I was released from the hospital on a Friday. Catheter bag did not open to allow urine to drain into it. Increasing pain forced me to send Dr. Nudell a message on El Camino Health's messaging platform at 4:45 PM on Friday afternoon. Got a personal call back from Dr. Nudell 15 minutes later. When I explained the potential complication, Dr. Nudell asked me to meet him at his office (now well after normal hours) to ensure that the bag was working properly. I told him it would take me another 35-40 minu4tes to get there with traffic. He told me not to worry and that he would wait for me. When I arrived, Dr. Nudell was all alone with no staff. He personally escorted me into the back door and promptly resolved the problem with the bag (faulty bag). I am thankful that there are doctors still doctors practicing like Dr. David Nudell. He resolved my problem successfully and was genuinely concerned for my health. His good heart prioritized my well being - over the start of his family's start of the weekend -and without any staff. 5 stars to David Nudell!! Bruce Renouard

Just as important Doctor Noller's bedside manner is the competence of his staff. Marie is a gem and always listens to your complicated requests, follows up, and gets results. I recently had difficulty getting the medication I have been taking for years. I found a compounding pharmacy that would prepare a workalike RX, but the dosing was different. I explained this complicated scenario to Marie and she said she would call the compounding pharmacy and hammer out the details. 30 minutes later Marie called me and said it was all handled and that the compounding pharmacy would be calling me shortly. Locally, we couldn't get a timely urology appointment even with an urgent referral, so we went to see Dr. Wesley Kong at El Camino Health Urology out of pocket. From the first visit, Dr. Kong was a lifesaver for my dad: * He took the time to review my dad's ER records and explain clearly what was going on with his severely enlarged prostate. * He removed the catheter safely, did a careful voiding trial, and made sure my dad could urinate on his own before letting him leave. * He started the right medications, monitored my dad closely, and set up a logical plan for follow‑up and long‑term management. * He spoke to us with respect and empathy, answered all our questions, and treated my dad as a person, not a number. Thanks to Dr. Kong, my dad's pain improved, he got off the catheter, and we finally felt like someone was truly looking out for him. We drove from the Central Valley to the Bay Area to see him, and it was worth every mile and every penny. I highly recommend Dr. Wesley Kong and the El Camino Health Urology team to anyone looking for a urologist who is not only highly competent, but also kind, patient, and truly committed to his patients' well‑being.

There are potential quality of life issues, lots of YouTube info and individual results vary...so my results are my results. I have had 100% bladder control since the catheter was removed on December 19, 2024. There are zero issues with any incontinence or ED side effects post surgery; an unexpected but pleasant outcome. Healing of incisions area is progressing, as is internal abdominal sensations. Pain from any coughing is now zero. No issues coughing, sneezing, standing or bending over. I hope everyone that has to go through this process could have similar results. My experience with Dr Ngo and prostrate surgery was excellent.
