Dr. Amy never once ridiculed me on my weight or diet and actually took the time to listen to me and get me the help that I needed. I finally felt heard after years of horrible pain, she assured me that nothing I was feeling was normal and got me the help I needed. But it sounds like to me they will either be "upselling me" on a medical issue they 'found', or I'll just be paying thousands of dollars to gain same day access to a doctor. The complex area is nice and quiet but it all goes down hill from there. Upon coming in, the reception starts talking about money and payment. Rather than welcoming a new patient. After the back and forth about payment, I corrected the receptionist that the health check should have no charge. My insurance cover this and I never had to pay for annual checkup. Finally, after some back and forth, it was corrected with insurance. The weird thing is that I gave all the this info when I scheduled. This should have been check beforehand. Next was seeing the doctor. He just came in and just ask a bunch of questions and just sent me on my way. He didn't spend any time to know about me or my health. Felt that there was no quality care given. If you looking for doctor to build a relationship and cares about your well being, this is certainly not the place.

I will admit, she was tough on me when my child had a sinus infection - mostly due to me not following her protocol exactly. I went to this lab to have my glucose tolerance test done. I checked in at 11:00 AM, drank the…read moreglucose solution, and had my first blood draw. I then asked the staff member what time I needed to return for my next blood draw. I was told to check back in at 1:00 PM at the front desk. I waited for two hours and returned to the front desk at 1:00 PM as instructed. However, the front desk receptionist, who was different from the person who initially performed my blood draw, told me that I was supposed to have a blood draw every hour and that I had therefore missed my 12:00 PM draw. I explained that this was not what I had been told when I initially checked in. She apologized, and I asked to speak with a manager. I was told that the manager was not in today. I am extremely frustrated by this situation. I fasted for over 12 hours, rearranged my work schedule, and spent hours at the lab, only for the test to be invalid because of incorrect instructions from the staff. It is incredibly frustrating that the staff member who initiated my test provided incorrect information, and there was no manager/supervisor available to address the issue or ensure that person who messed up take accountability for what happened. This is especially upsetting because I am on a time crunch and will be leaving for vacation soon. Now I have to contact my OB/GYN to request a new order and figure out when I can repeat the test, all because of an error that was completely outside of my control. This entire experience was extremely frustrating and absolutely unacceptable. I hope the lab reviews what happened and addresses this issue with its staff.
