Nathan did an excellent job with my chimney inspection. He was incredibly thorough, took the time to explain everything clearly, and even used a drone to show me the exterior condition of the chimney, which I really appreciated. His professionalism and attention to detail gave me a lot of confidence in his work. I'm looking forward to having him complete the chimney cleaning and repair once the replacement part comes in. Highly recommended! read more

I could tell this company truly values workmanship. Nathan was on time and spent time explaining to me what the issue was. He was honest and professional in showing me how my chimney cap was not the issue. I had confidence in his assessment, and will not hesitate to call him for any future work related to his profession. This is a family business you can believe in. read more

Nathan replaced the missing cap on my chimney, then suggested a new and improved gas fireplace setup. This came with a free chimney cleaning, which is what I'd originally requested. The new logs are so much nicer, properly set up, and with rocks and lava for real heat. They also have a remote control, which is awesome. Through it all, Nathan was very fast to respond, and did the work carefully, cleanly, and exactly when promised. I would fully recommend Silicon Valley Chimney Sweep. read more

We enjoyed working with Nathan. He is professional. The diagnose is quick and straightforward, and he explained to us in a clear and reasonable way. Gave us suggestions and options, while not pushy leaving the decision to us. Our fireplace made beeping noise, it turned out it is the problem of the control unit. Nathan took care of it and made sure the pays are fair for both us and him. Very professional to work with. Great job! I would recommend this place for fireplace issues. read more

I may have already completed an unsolicited review, but just in case: Nathan was amazing! Prompt, super clean with our home, and did an amazing job. He noticed several unrelated issues with the fireplace that i hadn't even called him for, and fixed them right away. We have been enjoying our fireplace ever since his visit... it's working better than it ever worked before!! read more

Wow Nate was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure my home stayed clean throughout the entire process. He was undestanding of my dogs, and more importantly cleaned my chimney throughly so I am able to use my Woodstove safely. I would not hesitate to call again. In fact I will be putting it in my calendar to have him come again next year. I would not hesitate to recommend his services. All in all a very nice encounter. Yelp can be hit or miss, but this was a definite home run of a recommendation. read more

We were looking for a routine chimney sweep. Nick was quick to get us on the schedule and on-time for the appt. Upon arrival he checked the firebox, looked at the chimney from the base and then hopped on the roof to inspect the top of the chimney. He gave us the report and then proceeded to get the cleaning done incredibly fast - (less than 20 minutes), and was able to share photos of the cleaned chimney and firebox after. I shopped around on price a bit too, and I couldn't find a more comptetive price. We'll be using Silicon Valley Chimney Sweep again - super happy with the service all around. read more

I retained them to clean my chimney. However, my chimney didn't need cleaning so I wasn't charged for that. During the review, they did determine that our entire chimney cover was getting old and had a hole. I didn't have to take their word for it - they showed me multiple pictures of the condition. I ordered a new one through them and within a couple of weeks, it was replaced. Service was also polite and considerate throughout. read more

SV Chimney sweep did an excellent job repairing our gas fireplace and sevicing our wood burning fireplace. Nick was responsive, available shortly after I contacted him, and on time for the appointment we made. There was a part needed to repair the gas fireplace; he gave an expected time when the part would be available and returned to complete the repair. Unlike other providers I've tried in the past, he did not charge for the initial visit then disappear: Nick stayed with the project until it was completed. This firm is now my go-to company for fireplace maintenance and repair. read more

I first called Nathan a year ago as our dryer vent needed cleaning. He was meticulous as he solved the problem and added me to his "return list". Right on schedule, I received a reminder that "it was time" for duct cleaning (I would not have remembered this important, fire-prevention process). Again, the service was on time, impeccable, and valuable. I confirmed I am on his list for next year! read more

Nick was efficient and did a great job at cleaning chimneys in our home and a rental. I would recommend him.

I cannot speak highly enough of this company and Nick. After paying an authorized dealer to fix my Kozyheat fireplace, and he didn't, Nick came out and did a complete inspection. Turns out the prior technician was untruthful, he didn't change the valve that he charged me for. Furthermore, after testing it wasn't the valve. Nick is polite, thorough and honest. I highly recommend. read more
