My boyfriend and I purchased a 2019 Lexus RX450h from here thinking everything was to our expectations but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Due to the minor scratches around the front of the car, we did ask to see if we could get a better deal just because the price it was set to was almost like we were buying a brand new car and definitely not a used one. I'd agree with most of the customers on here about pricing - this wasn't sold to us at a fair price at all. However, we still thought the car was beautiful which is why we chose to get it. BUT - of course, there's a reason why there's a fine print before signing the contract that states, "We are not responsible for any issues after purchase" - in our part, we ignored this because during our test drive, everything seemed fine. I KID YOU NOT, the following day, issues started occurring. The brakes make a weird squeaky sound when you brake and the passenger side door doesn't automatically unlock/lock with the key OR without the key (you have to manually maneuver it from inside the vehicle by opening it with the handle and pressing down on the lock to ensure it's locked.) All these concerns didn't pop up for us until the day after which made us both question if , Chris, the guy who sold it to us knew about it but just wanted to cash us out. Highly disappointed ever since as we now have to fix these problems that should've been addressed to us in the first place. read more

It was a good test drive experience but their pricing is pretty unrealistic. It could work well for certain buyers if you want a specific car but to me, it was a cost vs value equation. I worked with Aaron who was pleasant for the process however when presented with Kelly Blue Book pricing and even knowing they are well above 2K over fair pricing mentioned the pricing is what it is and they are not willing to budge on pricing. They refrain from discussing reasonable prices for a car that has been on their lot for over a year... In my experience, they had a car about 20%+ over reasonable pricing and also offer non-competitive rates to couple it. Even with a cash offer, they will not come down to reasonable levels. Net is if you want a good experience and are willing to pay over fair price because you want a specific vehicle this could be the place. read more

One of the best car dealership experiences I've had so far. I was interested in the 2012 Mercedes E63 AMG which was a lovely car and very well maintained, exactly as advertised on the website. Took the car for test drives (they were kind enough to let me do that twice) and even an optional extended warranty from a reputed company (hard to find those on such cars elsewhere). Plus the car was in pristine condition, not a spot of rust or even a squeak. I even had it checked by a mechanic and he said he'd recommend the purchase. Aaron was my point of contact and I loved his no-pressure, patient, and friendly approach towards the sale opportunity. I did not end up finalizing the purchase but that is only because of personal preferences i.e. wanted ADAS features more common in newer cars. I had been looking around to replace both my Tundra 4x4 and older Lexus ES330 with an AWD vehicle - Over the past 20 years, Toyota and Lexus has served me well so I began to look at both Highlanders and RX 350 - and read reviews. I didn't care for the newer Lexus grills - the 2010 had upgrades to a 6 speed transmission, better gas mileage and upgraded interior. It was a drive down there from Auburn area so I wanted to be sure and tried other RX 2010 thru 2013 up in my area to have something to compare it with. I made a call to ask about the 2010 RX 350 they had - 99,000 miles on the vehicle. Chaim answered my call and told him that I would be coming down on Tuesday morning. My first impression is how well they welcomed me with a low key approach, honest and not the typical used car situation that probably all of us have experienced at one time or another. Chaim and I hit it off right away - we drove the vehicle and had a great time checking out the vehicle. Inside, I met Chris. He made some recommendations that were beneficial to the the overall transaction. He's a great guy and works hard to help others, I felt that he was treating me the way he himself would like to be treated. Very satisfied with my new car! Highly recommend you give them a try. Avoid at all costs- they sold me a lemon and they don't allow the car to be inspected by an impartial third party before purchase. In addition to selling me the car with over %50 of the breaks worn down, there were a myriad of other problems. (there was a suspension knocking that I was unable to hear during the test drive because the guy selling me the vehicle wouldn't STFU the entire ride). The vehicle I purchased depreciated over 80% from what I paid for it less than 1.5 years ago, though to be fair some of that can also be attributed to make/model and the market - but not the entire 80%. They found it at a location in SoCal. Within a few days I was driving my new car. There was no pressure. I purchased a car from Chris, who I believe is the owner, last Sunday. I went to look at the car on Saturday, a 2005 Volvo v70R and fell in love with the car. I had my 10 month old son with me and applied for credit then went home and Chris called me as soon as I got home to tell me that I was approved for the loan. Went back first thing on Sunday morning and Chris already had all the paperwork ready to go, the whole buying the car process took about 20 minutes. The office was clean and you can tell the place is legit and Chris knows what he's doing. The car is absolutely stunning and I love it. Most of his cars are lease returns and none of them are from an auction so you know most of the cars are local one owner cars. Chris sells insurance also so he hooked me up with a policy that is $40 cheaper per month than the policy I had previously for this car. Overall, this experience was great! Best car buying experience ever. If you are looking for a particular kind of car and it turns out that you are lucky enough to find it at the Car Depot, I wouldn't buy my car anywhere else. Usually when I buy something expensive, pre-owned, and sold by an independent party, I give it about a week until I bust out with the Yelp review. Just in case, you know, something terrible happens to the car shortly after. Like, I wouldn't give a 5 star rating to a place that sold me a car that exploded 3 days after purchasing. (Unless it was a Ford Pinto... In which case, that would be MY bad) I had my eyes on a black 2001 Volvo V70 x/c station wagon. I've owned Volvo Station wagons since I got my drivers license, I'm a musician so I need the space. Right as my old man and I got there, we were greeted by Aaron, who already knew our names, and had the theme from "The Exorcist" as his ringtone. I knew right away this was going to be legit. Basically, the way these guys do business is super casual, and comfortable. You can tell they worked on big used car lots for too long, and traded in a pushy, commission-based sales job for keeping it real. I dig that. Aaron and his co-worker are hilarious, and I felt no hassle, no tricks up sleeves, and no dishonesty. If they didn't know how to answer a question on the carfax, instead of dancing around it w/ bs, instead you get an honest "I don't know, let's find out", which goes a long way. So it's been a week, the wagon is in perfect shape, I haven't exploded, and I highly recommend this place if you're not trying to break the bank and are okay with not being up tight while doing business. read more

Greetings, everyone. I purchased a 2001 Outback from this place and I was a bit disappointed in their "inspection" of the vehicle. For two guys to be in the "business" for as long as they have been, one would think they could be trusted; but they're used car salesmen. Not only were there mechanical problems with the moonroof (the front one didn't work), the interior (a hole in the rear passenger door) and missing ashtray, which is okay since I don't smoke but still a good thing to have to store change, and a missing rear headrest, which has supposedly been "ordered." One guy said it would be in "today," another said it would take a week to arrive. Now I can only hope that it will be delivered to me as agreed. Obviously, no one took the time to "inspect" the car well enough to address the issues I pointed out. I hope they do a better job with the other cars they sell. As a consumer, beware of this dealership: they're not very thorough. Granted, I am not savvy when it comes to buying cars, so I am to assume some blame for my ignorance. Overall, though, the car is what I wanted and the few discrepancies can be overcome. I have high hopes for the Outback and I hope I am not further disappointed. When I brought this to his attention, he blamed everyone and everything and actually told me how unfair I was being for writing such a bad review of his new "reformed" business. picked up a prius from Aaron at car depot. it was a pretty smooth transaction. The car wasn't the condition described over the phone, nor did I get the financing percent promised for having excellent credit. The bottom line, I decided to buy the car anyways. Aaron seemed very knowledgeable when it came to Prius's. A prius isn't your normal car and not every dealer knows all the details about these cars. Since he drove one himself he knew a lot about Prius's compared to other dealers I've spoken too. I looked at every single flaw and asked questions, I even triple checked everything. Took a look talked about the car for 5-10 minutes, took a look again. I took a look for a final time before signing the papers. I asked how I could tell if the car had ever been in an accident. He explained that every body part on toyota's now has a vin number on it, doors, hood, trunk, body panels, etc. He showed me that each body part was original. I saw a plug inside one of the door sills. He explained that it was done for paintless dent repair. We talked about the prius battery, and took a look at all the carfax details. The more i looked at the car, the more I knew what I was getting into. What can I say, I bought the car, it was a very good deal. I'm happy, the car runs as it should. I will come back again if I needed another car. conclusion: Again it's up to you to inspect the car and look at every deal especially when your buying used. You ask the right questions, you'll get the right answers. The dealer themselves may not know every single detail about the car.. They buy it, clean it up as much as possible and sell it. great job guys! read more

I went here twice. I test drove a car. I told them I would make arrangements for our mechanic to check it out. When I called to tell them I wanted to take the car to the mechanic they told me I would have to BUY the car first and if I rejected the car I could bring it back but there would be a charge of several hundred dollars to change the DMV. They told me that all dealers did this. I have been buying used cars since the 1970s and I have never run into this. Why would I buy a car without knowing what was wrong with it? They were already asking well over blue book. How stupid would I be to trust the dealer's 'independent' mechanic who checked it out. Very unhelpful when I asked about having one of their employees drive the car over, despite the fact that both times I went over there they were lounging around the office with nothing to do. read more

Purchased a beautiful Acura MDX on 5/26. Chris is a VERY GOOD saleman. If you are internet savvy and somewhat knowledgeable about the vehicle of sale's worth, slow down and stick to your guns. I was told my credit score of 695 was bad; hence my interest rate of 5.9% was best. There were other things I disagreed with, but Chris is standup guy and I have mad respect him. The team was very professional and the office had a nice setting to it. Aaron was pretty chill. Once you have expressed interest in moving forward, the team makes the transaction process pleasantly short. Of note, ensure everything listed in the sale's ad is included. Otherwise hope it will not be accounted for in the vehicle's asking price. For my purchase no floor mats were included (Acura SUV 7 passenger vehicle), let alone a set of ALL WEATHER FLOORMATS as listed in Craigslist. The upgraded 19" factory chrome rims had wheels locks on them, yet no key could be found in the office. The vehicle looked amazing, just as pictured on the net though. Just a reminder, if the vehicle of sale does not include any documentation of its' past services, you naturally need assume it was never done. My vehicle is sitting at Shell's auto service this very next day of purchase waiting on her $1k+ major tune up service (timing belt, water pump, seals, valve adjustments, etc). To be in the KBB excellent category, the vehicle must have body and interior that is "free of wear or visible defects", "flawless wheels", "matching tires" that are like new, and "complete and verifiable service records." In the end I feel this lost was made up for in the good trade-in price I received for my 2012 Honda. I believe I received a Fair deal overall. In conclusion, just like any vehicle purchase do not feel rushed; and if it doesn't seem right just leave and go to the bigger dealers. read more

I bought my car from them and they don't hide anything. I was informed of the process the whole way through, they have all great cars, they are fair on pricing, they show you where they get their pricing from, and the inspections they do on their cars. I have never been able to get straight answers from anyone at any car dealer, but at car depot, they are completely transparent. I will be referring everyone i know in the market to them first. I would be concerned about buying a car from this company, mostly because they don't give you the full picture of the car. Given they sell used cars, it won't be perfect, however, had a bunch of problems within 72 hours of buying ~$25,000 car. including: 1) Small chip in window that I didn't notice at first....and they certainly did not mention ($60) repair 2) Battery died and needed to be replaced ($90 + hassle of being stuck in a parking lot) 3) needed 4 new tires....which I was aware of. When I went to Costco, they noted it needed a Wheel Key which Car Depot did not provide with the car (another hassle of going to an Acura dealership to get....another $80 and more lost time....in addition to $1300+ for 4 tires)) 4) only gave 1 key set once purchased saying that is all they have. ($180 for a special key from Acura....+ time/hassle) On the last 2 items thei answer was basically sorry that's your problem. Bottom line I would be very cautious to buy from Car Depot. Regardless of their pressure, do not buy without a thorough check-up from a mechanic you trust (don't let them sway you with pressure saying you will have to pay several hundred $ for an "insurance package" to let you return it after an inspection. read more

According to his Special program the trade in valve of our car was around 6800 and he even agreed that it was in great shape and was worth that. he then called the "Owner" and told me that they would only give me 3800 for the trade in. So what the hell happened to the "SPECIAL" computer program??? even with that we were still really only $1500 to $2000 off from a deal, but when I asked if they could work on the selling price he just replied the program sets the price.
