Had to go to an auto body shop after someone rear-ended me while driving my husband's truck. AAA had recommended this place, so I checked it out on yelp and decided to try it out. The main downside is they are so busy that at the time of the estimate, they were only available two weeks later. They did mention that someone would be able to give my husband a ride after he dropped off the truck, since they would probably be able to fix it within a day. We worked with Mario, and he was friendly. Loved the interior of the place and it's quite a contrast from what it looks like on the outside and the general area. Strangely, on the day of the appointment, when my husband asked about a ride back to our house, which is only a mile away, Mario said that he wouldn't be able to do it. Seems like mixed information, since he mentioned he would be able to do that when he gave me the estimate. If you end up getting a rental car, this won't be an issue for you, but if it's minor damage that they could take care of in a day, this is something to consider. The location is a bit awkward. You have to drive all the way into an area that almost feels like an alleyway. When you exit, it is a quick merge, so have your wits about you, otherwise you might get into another car accident lol. I went in after an accident and Jorge took very good care of my car and I. Everything from scheduling an appointment, to getting my car back was seamless. I was able to bring my car in for an estimate and drop it off the same day which was convenient. I would 100% come here again. They went above and beyond to get the job done quickly and I felt that I was treated more than fairly the entire time. Background: a small window on my vehicle was broken as part of a break in. The part is on national backorder and would've taken at least a month to get in. I worked with Roger directly, and he always greeted me with a smile when I came in. During the process, he went above in beyond to locate the part I needed even though it wasn't readily available from the standard shop. We ended up sourcing a used part, but he took care of the whole process and called me for confirmation. I always felt like he was in control and knew what he was doing. I was asked to get a quote from an Auto Body shop recommended by the dealership. I did. There were two quotes I needed to get: 1. For scrapes on the driver and left passenger door 2. Scrapes and a bump on the bumper The 1st Auto body shop quoted me almost$2500 for the doors & almost $1300 for the bumper. The quotes given to me were only preliminary because, as explained, they don't know what damage is under the outer damaged frame. Then we went to Prestige Automotive in Campbell. I was told by Art that the door scrapes were minor and all that was needed was to buff them out. I didn't believe it. He went in to the shop and came out and buffed out the scrapes. Amazing!!! Then he checked the bumper reassuring me it was also minor. The final quote was: 1. Door scrapes $100 2. Bumper $750 AW Collision $3800 preliminary quote compared to a total of $850 from Prestige AutoBody. My savings of $2950 was explained by Art as he was just being honest. Most places will charge a lot when all that may be needed is some buffing out. Well... honesty, in my book, gets rewarded. They were honest, professional, and my car looks great again!! Art is the best! A friend hit my bumper and so we wanted to fix it through private pay. I found these guys and others on yelp and got estimates from the top starred auto body places. Prestige gave us the best estimate (by about $200) and Art made me feel really comfortable so we went with them. Let me say that having a black car is a mistake you only make once. Before the accident I already had hard water stains and other little scratches all over the place (which classic car wash said they could completely remove for about $600). I mentioned it to Art and he said he would "take care of it". When I picked up my car today, not only was the bumper and trunk completely perfect and fixed (the original reason for the estimate) but they also completely cleaned my car top to bottom (including tires!) and removed every blemish from the black exterior. Took my 2013 Toyota Corolla in for some body work after my husband got in a fender bender while driving it. They were also able to take care of some previous damage to my right rear door. The work looked great and I am so happy I went to them. The repair was done quicker than expected too! The only problem, which does not have to do with the quality of the work is the lag time between when the accident happened and when we could get it fixed. The accident happened at the beginning of November 2017 and we were not able to get an appointment to get it fixed until January 2018 because they were so busy. I took my car for repairs after I got into a minor car accident. Received a decent quote and decided to get my repair here. A few weeks later, i went to my usual mechanic because i heard an odd sound coming from the location of the repair. My mechanic took a look at it and found out the part they installed was USED and an OLD part that wasn't for my model. They DID NOT not on my invoice that it would be a used part, nor was it even the correct application for my car. So of course I took the car back to Prestige and told them about what my mechanic found out. They admitted there was 'an error' and will fix it. Do not go to this auto body shop. What are the chances of being rear-ended twice within 6 months. Lucky me. Ya know, when you are driving a car, my Tacoma pick up truck break lights are about at eye-level so, WHAT GIVES??!! Both times, I was stopped at a stop light and I get nailed. Jeezus. Pay attention people! This last one, we were all completely stopped and I was second in line and the lady behind me just decided to hit the gas pedal...but the light was still red! I feel like getting a giant LED light banner in back that says "STOP, STUPID" when my brakes are on. But I digress... My insurance company recommended a bad repair shop but E recommended this place to me, so I took my car here for an estimate. All together, I took the car to three different places. Although this place's overall estimate is slightly higher, it is definitely worth it. Roger, the owner, is extremely friendly and helpful. After the estimate, he said that he will honor the price given by the other shops and deal directly with my insurance company for any differences. The car was fixed on time and looked great. He even fixed a few scratches that I didn't point out to him - for free. On top of it, he gave me a discount on my deductible. I have used Prestige twice in the last year, both times for repairs on my 2011 Prius. In both instances I dealt with Roger (one of the owners) and he was extremely professional, friendly, finished on time as promised, and overall a pleasure to deal with. The first time, I was rear-ended by a Hummer and I was referred by my insurance company. They fixed/replaced my back bumper and hatchback, both of which were completely destroyed. Although the original estimate called for using used parts, they were able to get me brand new parts for the same price. After they finished, it was better than new. The second time, my bumper was knocked off by a recycling truck, and Roger again was incredibly helpful and kind. They replaced my bumper, and repaired the back side of the car, and you can't even tell that it was ever damaged! The car looked so good when the repair was complete--even the portion that was fixed but not replaced--that I almost cried when I saw it. It was finished right on time, and I was able to get a ride to Prestige from my rental car company, so I was never without a car. To top it off, they washed and detailed my car, so it looked great driving out of the repair lot. I cannot say enough good things about Roger and his crew. This place is great! I was rear ended and needed a new bumper replaced. Went by and the person doing the estimates wasn't there so they took pics and called me later to setup an appointment. Brought my car in, and I even got a ride home that day. Took about two and a half days, but they did an incredible job. The bumper looks great, but some of the paint chips I had were fixed, and they washed and vacuumed my car?? The one thing that might concern people is the parking lot. They happen to share a lot with other businesses in the area and it's a very tight parking lot. Got some great customer service there and great product.
