The gentleman who came seemed great, but he didn't send me a quote. One week later, I hadn't heard anything from them. After calling to ask if I could get my quote, the Owner (I believe) told me that they may "take a pass," on our projects. When I asked why, she said they "do this all of the time." She sent a follow-up email blaming it on their schedule and workload, but I had not even given them a delivery schedule. It was a super disappopinting experience. My advice - if you plan on getting a quote from them for a commercial project, get quotes from competitors as well. Be aware that this company evidently chooses to "take a pass" on projects often.

The job took half an hour. The cool part was I meet the owner( Mike ). We talked about businesses. Good and cool guy , Mike. We both agreed that it is about quality not quantity there's days. I really respect that and appreciate them doing so because they could have told me to kick rocks. Anyone who can admit they messed when they did is someone I'm willing to go back to because they have my trust. Many businesses these days have poor customer service and support. These guys have it. The manager was very courteous and took care of me.

Jason had quoted a quick turnaround - 2 weeks for a logo re-design and a total of 6 weeks for the web site to go live. 1/31/2023 - received a quote from Jason at Voco Design 2/1/2023 - I accepted the quote and paid my 50% deposit 2/9/2023 - logo re-design delivered and accepted 3/8/2023 - web site mock ups delivered and accepted 4/12/2023 - invoiced for remaining 50% and paid it The following steps is when everything broke down Between May and June of 2023, either myself or Jason was out of town/country, so we could not finalize. 8/2/2023 - Jason requested access to my web hosting server to start uploading. I have not seen any changes to my web site at all. Since then, I have not been able to get a commitment from Jason or his team. Jason has sent me messages saying he was out of town, medical emergencies, etc which I can totally understand and was willing to wait for him. I had called his office and Tom had responded to look into it, but I have now been ignored by Tom as well. As of 2/1/2024 (one year later!!), I have sent an email to Jason and Tom to just close the project. They can refund me some portion of my 100% paid job, but they have not responded. I have changed the password to my web hosting as a precaution. I am willing to call this a loss and mark it as a lesson learned working with design companies. Maybe my company was too small for them, but seems my money was good enough for them

My wife, mother-in-law and her sons needed to find a notary suddenly to sign a Power Of Attorney for the 94 year old mother (with failing health) so we could have her oldest son clear up any remaining legal affairs so we could get her back to Korea to live. We were greeted by Lou later on a Saturday afternoon with an upbeat cheerful attitude who was patient through the whole process of dealing with an unnecessarily complex law document to make sure it was properly signed and understood. If I could give 0 stars, I would…read more I brought my graduation stole to T-Shirt Source in Daly City for embroidery and even paid extra to expedite the order from the normal 7 days to 3-5 days because my graduation was coming up. The day before I was supposed to pick it up, they called me and told me they had "lost" my stole. Instead of taking accountability, they told me to go buy another stole myself and that they would embroider the replacement "on the spot." I ended up taking time off work trying to deal with this mess, and to make things worse, I could barely even get ahold of the store while trying to figure out what was going on. When I asked if they could at least reimburse me for losing my stole, they told me they couldn't because they were "no longer making a profit" off my order. There was little to no apology, no urgency, and absolutely no professionalism. Then after all the back and forth, they suddenly "found" my stole and told me to come pick it up at 5:30. It became pretty obvious that they never actually lost it -- they just lied about it to buy themselves more time. This was one of the most stressful customer service experiences I've had, especially considering this was for a major life event. Really shitty service. I would not recommend trusting them with anything important or time-sensitive.

They take a few (free) pictures of you, put you in their database and call you when an ad agency decides you'd be a good look for their next spot. The best part is you don't even have to look like a model. when you go into their office you'll sit between a hipster and a guy with a starched shirt and a suit. They had me run around in a chicken suit for my last gig. I've had some great experiences and met some creative people with the Blackwell files - thanks guys!
