I work in the trades and I am a Building Manager at a high end building in Russian Hill who works with many different vendors. I was looking to get some brass name plates redone for the intercom system at the front of my building. I have had dealings with Maria before and know there is not a lot of follow through unless you keep nudging her. And don't get me wrong, the finished product is excellent, even if they have to do it over few times due to "miscommunication". But this one took the cake. I removed the piece I needed to have redone and brought it into them so they could measure it and even trace an outline of it for future reference. I also left a picture of the piece that I had printed out just to leave with them. I am not sure what more i could have done to try and assure this went smoothly. The piece measured 3" by 5 1/4" with name plates at 2" by 1/2". So after about a week of waiting, after walking in with the piece, talking on the phone twice and a second round of emails. I did get a "proof" back from her that measured 11" by 4" with name plates at 3' by 1". I took the time to make up a CAD drawing of the piece and retook a picture of the piece and sent it to her saying her dimensions are not even close to the dimensions we talked about. She then emailed me back that i should probably take my business elsewhere. Added to that, after all that back and forth, I had asked that these be engraved and not vinyl lettering, and for some reason I guess she forgot and quoted vinyl lettering. I am glad, in the big scheme of things, these are my problems and I am not too upset over it, but rest assured, I will not be going back. read more

Can't go wrong with Maria and the crew from Signographics. Super quick turn around, very professional work and lots of communication throughout the small job I had them do for me. I only needed some vinyl numbers printed out and mounted but the job came out perfect, they reviewed some good options with me that I hadn't thought of for the material and the price was right. Unfortunately I have no other option but to leave negative feedback for signographics. I have tried multiple times. I guess I didn't learn the first time but with dwindling options for sign co's in San Francisco I thought I would give them multiple chances. I experienced the same problem everytime I tried to do business with them and that is ,absolutely no follow-up. It sucks when you need a project done and call a so called reputable company and they seem to get the info right but then never recv a call back and when you call them back they give you the cold shoulder and say they will follow-up and then again recv nothing. I really would not bother to write a review but this has happened 3 different times. They really need help with their customer service. read more
