That took about an hour of our time, not great but not the reason for the low review. After deciding on one, we were given an offer lowballing our trade in by $7k compared to two other offers we had received. When we removed our trade from the deal, they added $1,000 to the asking price of the vehicle because "that price requires you to finance through us, it's disclosed on the internet". The purchase was flawless. That was 4./26. 10 days later they told me they couldn't take the tx credit as irs website is down and wanted me to pay it or return the car. I financed the car, finance company already funded. They would have to purchase it back from me if they want the car back. I was being nice and told to give me an offer. This place seems incredibly shady. I went to go look at a 2010 Toyota Tacoma with 135K miles that they had priced just under $12K. Seemed high to me but wanted to check it out just to see. It was "very clean" as they put it but had no service records for the vehicle at all and with a 15 yr old car there's no way it's in perfect condition. They also put A LOT of pressure on me to buy right then and there after I repeatedly told them I'd need to talk to my wife first. The salesman who worked with me was very nice and overall really helpful, but the dealership as a whole seemed like they were hiding something about this truck. So after talking through it with a good friend who is a mechanic and very knowledgeable with cars, specifically Toyota, he told me they were definitely overpricing it. I offered them $8,000 for it and they said no and said it was a "Very clean and well-priced car". I went on KBB, who they "partner" with to price vehicle trade ins. I looked up the exact VIN number of the vehicle I was shown, as listed on their website. As it goes, the range at which this car goes for on KBB in EXCELLENT CONDITION (Which is not possible for this 15 yr old truck) doesn't even surpass the $8,000 which I offered them. They claimed they bought it as a trade in from an individual at the price they listed it at ($12K) which doesn't make any sense either as they would make 0 profit on the vehicle. As the kids say these days: "The math ain't mathin!" Needless to say, they are clearly price gouging this car and trying to get all they can for it by asking for approx. $5,000 over its real value. I had horrible experience with preowned car dealers having zero integrity, charging outlandish hidden fees, so I gave this one a call to ask if they have any other fees...hidden fees. I told them I'd I'd like to come in and look at your car I'd like to pay 17,400 + tax, title and license. I was told there's a few other fees but there really insignificant.... so we drove the hour to see and drive the car. We drove and liked the car BUT....When they walked us to to the "table" with their price for the car for us to drive away, their driveway price was $23,000. Over $5,000 in "insignificant fees"? And we front-loaded this conversation only to be mislead that this dealership wouldn't charge unnecessary fees ... this dealership was dishonest. Not even close to the truth. I have purchased two automobiles from Sign it Drive it. We are in the market for a Honda Pilot. We went back to Sign It to view their inventory of Pilots. We found one we liked and asked permission to take it to our mechanic for a pre buy inspection as we have done previously. We currently own a Pilot and love the car. This is where Sign It and one of its sales manager allowed twenty grand to walk out of the door. For some odd reason, if you have decided to purchase the car pending a successful pre buy inspection, you must first take the car for a test drive. If you don't take the car for a test drive, no sale. I was asked if I didn't take it for a test drive, how would I know I liked it? I told the sales manager I would be driving it to the mechanic and that could double as a test drive, and my Pilot was sitting in their parking lot. I was informed that my "condescension" was not appreciated. Further if I did not test drive it, I would not be allowed to take it to my mechanic. Sign It may have more business than they need. I will start this off by saying this is less of a review, more so a telling of events. Everything stated is 100% true and factual. After losing my car to a total loss accident at the beginning of March, (the beginning of Covid-19) I was without a vehicle for sometime. Due to the fact that I suddenly had low income due to the virus, and find myself in the poor credit bracket (look away Yelp friends), I didn't think I had many options. I searched and searched and kept seeing a slough of cars from this dealer. All seemingly fit my criteria and price range. Admittedly, I did read the less than stellar reviews, but did notice that they work with many credit situations so I sent an inquiry about a vehicle. I received a call fairly quickly and arranged an "appointment" due to the low occupancy levels of the situation at hand. During this whole process, I kept reminding the dealer of my credit situation. They didn't seem to be thrown off, and kept going. I test drove a car (2014 Honda CRV with 76,000 miles). Keep in mind, they don't take you on any highways, or anywhere where you will go over 45 MPH. I liked the car enough and reminded the dealer once again of my situation, and he assured me they would be able to get me in the car for the payments I needed. I decided to purchase the car and they worked on the paperwork. I once again reminded the finance manager of my situation, they assured me it would happen. I signed my paperwork, payed my $3000 dollar down payment, and came back Monday to get the car. The car ended up having several problems right off the lot, I can't fit them all here as it will go over the text limit. However, at the two week mark I received a call from the credit union that Sign it Drive it made my deal with. I needed to complete an over the phone interview, to see if I was still eligible for the loan. After the phone interview, due to a financial oversight, the credit union wanted me to either get a co-signer or return the car back to the dealership. I thought about getting a co-signer, as I did not want to be without a car, and once again searching with my credit situation. However, ultimately this was the way out of a very bad deal. Up to this point, I was still quite neutral with the dealership, they seemed to be quite shocked themselves that the credit union didn't work out, and they were losing money themselves. Finally the finance manager came in, and stated that due to a crack in the grill that was "not there before I took the car" they would only be refunding me 2,700$. He stated it would cost 300$ in parts, and made it seem like they were doing me a favor by eating cost and labor. I was in absolute disbelief, as I knew that crack in the grill was there upon purchase (it was a cosmetic issue that did not bother me). He stated that it was in none of their photos, and that I must have done it. At no point did he show me their photos or offer to show them. The vehicle was no longer listed on their website (duh I bought it). So no photos were listed online. HOWEVER, because I sent screenshots of the car straight from the website to my insurance company, I still had the photos. The crack is clearly visible, and obvious, as it took off a portion of the chrome. (Photos attached-with sign it's drive it logos visible) I showed these photos to the finance manger and he said he would show my photos to the manager (did not take my phone). He returned and sheepishly said they would return my full down payment. Now friends, do you think they honestly didn't notice that large crack in their photos, or do you think they were trying to shake a little change out of my pockets for taking their car on a free joy ride for two weeks. I'll let you decide. Bottom line here is- they get two stars because I'm sure not every car here has problems. I met a return customer in the lobby when I was returning the vehicle. They are a very high volume dealer, and because of this I honestly believe the salesmen are unaware of what cars have what problems. All the salesmen are very very young, and I'm sure this is just a stepping stone along the way, and are just going along with what they are trained to do. I can't fault them for making a living, but at some point you have to look within and ask your self if your ok with being complacent with business tactics like this. I'm not telling you not to come here. If your in a rough spot, and desperate for a car, odds are they will get you into one. However, ask if you can get it looked at by a trusted outside mechanic. Know that this isn't your only option for a car though. Finally after 3 months, and this deal on my record I'm in a brand new 2020 car, with payments far less than they were going to be on my car from here. read more

I made sure to double check. I get home and try to take off the "cover" for the fast charger. It didn't work. I tried to return the car because we bought it under false pretense. They did however get me the phase 2 charger- that I could have gone to another dealership and gotten along WITH the other feature I wanted. For the same price. I admit I could've pulled out the charger and plugged it in and watched it charge for 3 hours.... but for someone who assured me that he knew what he was talking about I didn't think I would have to. Any other car dealership you wouldn't need to. And as far as the fast charge- I pointed at it and said this comes off right? And he said "yes I'll have them look at it." !!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!! - I purchased a used vehicle from Sign IT Drive It 3 weeks ago, my salesperson was Manny. Since I was purchasing from out of state I wanted to make sure that the vehicle was in good condition. After 2 weeks of speaking to the dealership employees (Salesman, sales manager, head mechanic, finance manager) everyone assured me that this truck was immaculate and on the showroom, it was so perfect. Everyone I spoke to also stated that this is the owner of the dealership's truck and it is in great shape. Everyone I spoke to had the same story, "this truck has over $45k worth of recent work done to it, it's perfect." I have emails, texts, and phone calls from multiple people representing the dealership and all were lies! At this point, I felt comfortable and decided To purchase. I had the vehicle shipped to my house and was excited to drive my new toy! Had the truck for 2 days before it went to the shop with over $5,000 in initial repairs!!! For a truck that just had $45k in recent work done, (some of the work on invoices they emailed me was never done per my mechanic) how come the basic maintenance has been overlooked like AC not working, fuel filter, fuel pump, oil change, headlights, battery terminals, etc. The vehicle is not even able to go through a car wash because it leaks! These are just a couple of the many issues. I have reached out to the dealership to give them the opportunity to make things right, I first spoke to my sales rep Manny he said " Sorry there's nothing we can do you bought the truck as is!" So then I spoke to his manager. He asked me to send him the invoice and he would call me back within 30 minutes. Never called! That was 4 days ago! I looked at the vehicle on Saturday near closing time, and came back on Monday with a Cashiers check for the full amount of the Truck. We were asked to sit in the waiting room until the contract was ready. After :45 min with no interaction from anyone, I found my salesman and asked what the problem was, and why we were sitting , we could not see any body working on our paperwork...finally I sought out the individual and asked him what the issue was, that we were there with our cash :45 min ago. I have multiple issues with my truck that I bought 1 month and 2 days ago. I called them 2 days after because my check engine light came on and the horn did not work. I tried for over a week to get in touch with the service department. After finally talking to them they told me to bring the truck in but they don't offer any courtesy vehicles, so I had to wait until I was able to arrange a loaned vehicle to get back and forth to work. Now they have my truck and they are denying any knowledge of the issues and they are not taking responsibility for selling me a truck that can't even pass inspection. They are saying I have to pay almost $1700 to fix the problems. They refuse to cover any of the costs because now I'm 2 days past their "warranty." Now and been emailed and texted by them all week co firming my return. Come that next Friday, I called my bank and Sign it Drive it and had all my bases covered and was arriving a day early, the finance manager calls me when I was 5min. from the location to tell me the truck went up in price $1k and the deal we had signed was no good. I sent an email the night before to see if the car I was interested in was available. The next morning just before 9am I received a call from Christian telling me it was available. He promptly requested I come in to view the vehicle and we briefly discussed my trade. We ended up coming in about an hour after our scheduled time (sorry if you're reading this) and were promptly greeted by a sales associate in a casual manner. We told him we were here to see Christian. Christian introduced himself and was very kind to everyone including my 4 kids. We went on a lengthy test drive per my husband's request. We chatted about numbers and told him that we knew where we wanted to be. Guess what... we walked out the door right where we wanted to be. Please know that this place is a high volume dealer, despite its hole in the wall appearance. If you call and a car sells before you make it in, don't be surprised. We saw this happen multiple times in our short time there. Also, know that they will work with you and your credit situation. I drove to check out a 2016 Honda Odyssey, drove it like it, but the inside of the vehicle was sanitized it looked dirty to me you could see fingerprints from somebody's dirty fingers. The back covering over the door was broken they told me they could buff it out. It is plastic you can't buff it out needs to replaced. The price was right except some of the charges that were added on other then tax and license. I did not purchase a vehicle from them. I explained to him that I was per approved with Capital One and all the needed was proof of income and residence. So I emailed the info to him and told him I was ready to buy once her got the final approval. The next morning I got an email telling me the truck was lowered $500. Next TJ called me at 9:00am and left me a message, saying good afternoon are you still interested in the truck. "WHAT" Like I said not to bright. So I called and explained to Brandon (supposedly the manager) what happened and he asked me to email the documents to him. So I did, a few hours later I get a call from TJ "REALLY" He ask if I would fill out an application over the phone because he could not find my Capital One app.. Typical car lot, fill out their application then they shop it around and lower you credit scores by 75+ points .. No thank you. I'm not sure if they are bait and switch or just don't keep up with their inventory because of the several cars I had in mind to check out they only had two for me to see. They give you the typical, "Oh, that one sold the other day." That same old tired lame rehearsed quote that bait and switch operators use. The guy on the test drive was very mute and non-communicative. The Undertaker (sales manager) at the counter with the funeral suit had a bad attitude and will totally dismiss you if you don't buy one of his junk cars right away. He has poor people skills and does not know how to talk to people. I picked up bad vibes from him right away. Beware! One of the cars I had on the list, they didn't even know which lot it was located on. I should've known better when I drove by it and noticed it to be a hole in the wall. When you go on their site, they make it seem like a pretty big legit, bustling place, until you get there and realize that the only people walking around are the employees. You know something is wrong when you're the only one on the lot looking around and everyone else is driving right past it. read more
