I'm an Army veteran and I handled this the right way: calls, patience, follow-ups, numerous conversations with their manager Mike. The day I said I'd had enough, his position was still that I could go to the DMV myself or wait another three weeks. Dismissive from start to finish. On 8/27 I showed up in person with the lender's paid-in-full letter. Only then did they hand over my check -- dated 7/27, two days after the sale. It existed nearly the whole time they were telling me they couldn't pay. The car had already been resold. (Keep-or-cut sentence:) Nothing in the bill of sale I signed conditions payment on the title. If you sell them your car, demand a payment date in writing. Every date above is documented.

There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this

Took my car in for a recall and naturally they found a couple things to charge me for. They quoted me $2,400.00 for a leaking motor mount. After looking up costs, found out the typical charge to replace motor mounts is between $550.00 and $750.00. Called then back to cancel and the service advisor was adamite that I have it done at the dealership. When informed of the normal market price, she wanted me to make an offer on the service. Obviously, they inflate the cost and unless you call them out; they will rip you off all day long. At the tender age of 77, I replaced the motor mounts myself in my garage for a total cost of $75.00 in about 6 hours. No, not a factory BMW part. Why They don't last over 40k miles. Why replace one headache with another? Bet a factory trained technician with hoist, tools, n help can do the same in less than 2 hours. Not that hard. $2,400.00? The kicker is they were unaware I was planning on replacing the car, buying a new BMW on the same trip. My service experience changed that. Beware of their predatory service tactics. Denny

I got so tired of trying to put them back on, I started putting them in a box and now I've got about 8 or 10 pieces of random useless plastic items in a box. When I asked about having them replaced, I was told that they weren't included in the warranty. I don't get that. They are NOT wear items, like tires. And the service department has performed more poorly than any other dealership I've ever worked with, unless it is something super routine, like an oil change. Unfortunately, that doesn't bode well for future purchases of a Mitsubishi, at least here.

Upon my arrival, I saw that Caleb had taken the vehicle off the lot to go to Chipotle and had just returned. Rather than having the vehicle cleaned and properly prepared for a scheduled customer, he chose to use it for a personal lunch. When I inspected the vehicle, it was absolutely filthy and had extensive paint damage, including deep scratches and heavy swirl marks. None of this damage was disclosed in the online listing, and the photos on the dealership's website did not accurately represent the vehicle's condition. Naturally, I was very disappointed. When I brought the damage to Caleb's attention, he attempted to claim that it had been disclosed on the Carfax report. That was simply not true. The damage was neither reflected in the listing photos nor disclosed in any meaningful way before my visit. I then spoke with Isaac Lopez, hoping for a more professional response. Instead, he dismissed my concerns and made an inappropriate comment, saying, "You look like you drive fast, so I don't know what the value of your trade-in is," before even looking at my vehicle. This was especially frustrating because I had already made it clear that I was not trading in my car and had secured financing through my credit union. From the lack of transparency about the vehicle's condition to the unprofessional behavior of the staff, this was one of the worst dealership experiences I've had. I would strongly encourage anyone considering doing business with Sam's Ford to be cautious. I will not be returning, and I will be sharing my experience with others.
