It also helped that a friend had sold several Travel Trailers via Independent RV with positive experiences. If you've had the chance to do researches on consignment dealers from Modesto to Sacramento, you already know that there are several out there with mixed reviews. Which only makes things more confusing. Although we had never met Stacy before, she was very easy to work with while adding no pressure for us to go with them. She was quick to return my calls, and answered all of my questions. When I dropped the trailer off, I worked with Ed. He was just as good as Stacy, making dropping off the trailer very easy. I never felt as if I dropped off my trailer to a dealership that was going to try to "rip me off" with fees and unnecessary service. Here's the good part, Independent RV was able to sale both my trailer and a friend of mine's trailer in two weeks (both of them). On top of that, they got me my full asking price. If you are looking to sale your RV, I highly recommend Independent RV.

As a returning customer who's spent thousands with them, I found that excessive--I would have been fine paying around $100. I ended up taking it to a local mechanic, who completed the work in about three minutes and didn't charge me a thing. In appreciation of the excellent customer service, I bought lunch for the whole staff. I had planned to have Independent RV reseal the roof, but after this experience I'll either take it somewhere else or handle it myself.

Right, like I am just some kind of money tree that I can afford to just keep paying them when they don't know what's wrong or how much it is going to cost. Unless you want to throw your money away. I would take my vehicle to a more knowledgeable and more experienced shop next time. I will definitely never use this shop again.

Called and discussed the non op of a truck. Service department seemed like they were on it. The…read moreproblems of the truck were discussed at length. It was agreed to have truck towed in which they took care of for a cost around $362.50 for a 22 minute haul.... Service Dept called me and gave me a cost of $1200.00 to repair the problem after they performed their diagnosis which included the tow.. I said yes.... 2 days later, they ask for $ 2,000.00 just to continue to diagnose and work on the truck... I said NO, that is ridiculous. We arraigned our own tow as they did not fix the truck in any way and the cost was... $ 150.00. I am not in the business to pay a shop to learn or teach employees how to work on a vehicle. OH YEAH, then they refuse to let the truck go unless we pay them $ 892.03.... We have to run a check to them to release the truck, is this like being held hostage....? STAY AWAY....... Jim Oakdale
