I bought it a cple yrs ago with no maint history,(impulse buy because it was cute LOL) anyway, they found I had a missing vent cap and some other cracks in the roof that was allowing water to get in. They fixed that and sealed EVERYTHING! The last days of heavy rain we had, it has stayed dry, no more leaks. They repaired the back wall of the bunk area, reinforced undreneath & painted it. It also helped that a friend had sold several Travel Trailers via Independent RV with positive experiences. If you've had the chance to do researches on consignment dealers from Modesto to Sacramento, you already know that there are several out there with mixed reviews. Which only makes things more confusing. Although we had never met Stacy before, she was very easy to work with while adding no pressure for us to go with them. She was quick to return my calls, and answered all of my questions. When I dropped the trailer off, I worked with Ed. He was just as good as Stacy, making dropping off the trailer very easy. I never felt as if I dropped off my trailer to a dealership that was going to try to "rip me off" with fees and unnecessary service. Here's the good part, Independent RV was able to sale both my trailer and a friend of mine's trailer in two weeks (both of them). On top of that, they got me my full asking price. If you are looking to sale your RV, I highly recommend Independent RV.

As a returning customer who's spent thousands with them, I found that excessive--I would have been fine paying around $100. I ended up taking it to a local mechanic, who completed the work in about three minutes and didn't charge me a thing. In appreciation of the excellent customer service, I bought lunch for the whole staff. I had planned to have Independent RV reseal the roof, but after this experience I'll either take it somewhere else or handle it myself.

Marked up aluminum rims, put tire facing wrong direction. I had to return to have tire mounted…read morecorrectly. Excessive amounts of weights on nice rims, didnt have spoke weights that would fit. He said he marked rims with arrows showing which direction old tires were rotating (I had done that prior to dropping off). I explained before anything was done that brake disk and chain were on left side of bike, with this info you can determine rotation. He said old front tire was facing wrong direction, if this was true (it wasn't) it shouldn't matter since i explained that the brake disc and chain were on left side. He doesn't seem to know much about tire balancing or install, since I had him place red dot on tire closer to valve stem, this removed 1/2 oz of weights. He tried to offer me a discount but me never returning will save me more money in the end. I tried to give this small business a chance but I cannot recommend when so many mistakes were made.

Came across this guy's page and decided to give him a try because of all the good reviews and…read morelittle bad reviews. Unfortunately for me I did not receive the best service. I had no issues with him being rude or anything like that, nice guy, I went out and let him know my problem with the car occasionally not starting right away and he took a look and let me know what the issue was and we scheduled him to come back a few days later on Tuesday for the fix, $75 to look at the car but he puts that money into the fix cost if you chose him to fix your car, I thought that was cool. He came back on Tuesday to replace the fuel pump and purge valve canister on my car and sent me a text when he was done with the repair. I was able to leave my keys in the car so he could just come and make the fix while I was at work, so that part was nice at least. That same day, on my lunch break, I went to swap the car I was driving with my newly "fixed" car. I was happy it started with no issue at first but when I was leaving from work later on, it had the same not starting issue it had before. I text him letting him know it was having the same issue as before that same Tuesday, he let me know it may be a faulty part and he can come check out what went wrong, I let him know I appreciated that and to let me know when he's available, that was on Tuesday, I waited till Friday for a response and nothing, so I text him asking for an update and he said that following Tuesday he will be passing by 3-4Pm, well Tuesday was yesterday and he no showed, didn't text or call me to say he needed to reschedule which I would have been fine with as long as he let me know. I left work early so I could be home 3-4PM yesterday and he just didn't show up. I would have preferred if he just mentioned he's not available to come again or be honest about whatever. I'm an understanding person so I wouldn't have issues with honesty or whatever may have come up. The total cost ended up being $750 for anyone that's curious. Unfortunately for me, I had to call another mechanic to come and take a look at my car this week to see what went wrong or if the issue was something else entirely. Good experience at the beginning but ended up down $750 and my car still having the same issue.
