Tony was very helpful. My family first purchased an RV from him and his service was great. What was even better was when we went on a road trip and the RV was damaged, he and his team fixed it up immediately and always kept us informed of the process. A few months after the RV was purchased, my dad ended up also bought a Jeep from him as well. Tony made sure that he informed us of what we were purchasing and didn't pressure us into buying anything unless we were ready. I definitely recommend Referral Auto Group for your RV needs. Not only was our purchasing process easy and informative but after, they were helpful and very responsive to all our questions. read more

This should be the gold standard for the industry. Cooper was on point with questions and estimates at reception. JP and the techs were very knowledgeable and clear on the repair issues and the timeline. I am very pleased with the professional results and customer service. Highly recommended. read more

We purchased our 2026 Puma Grand Mesa from Tony and Referral Auto Group, and I honestly have to say that everyone that works there from Top to Bottom is A-One. Tony was in constant communication with us during the entire build and delivery process. We haven't purchased a truck so he had it delivered to our location. Once there and after finally moving into it we had an issue with the shower leaking and he actually sent a guy out to fix it after work on his way home. You just can't buy customer satisfaction like that. Thank you Tony and your Referral Auto Group family for taking care of us now and hopefully in the future. read more

We really lucked out finding this place! I was looking online and saw something we thought might be worth looking at... There was absolutely Zero pressure. We went home to decide and came back to look at more. Decided that we might want this specific one and when we called, we found out that someone else was also looking at it. We made the decision to pull the trigger and haven't had ANY regrets. We have friends with nightmare trailer stories about the service they received after purchasing... Don't worry about that with Tony and crew! They aim to please and realize that your home away from home is to be enjoyed! Not sitting in their repair lot wishing for parts to come. read more

My dad had a terrible experience with this place. He bought a very expensive trailer outright! They delivered it with problems--the fuses pop every time he turns on the lights. There are also things damaged from transportation. I would expect that a brand-new $70,000 trailer would be thoroughly checked to ensure it was in perfect working condition. Now, to get it fixed, they want him to pay $300 to pick it up, even though it should have been in perfect working condition. This place is a joke. I wouldn't buy your trailer from here. They claim to be a "family," but as soon as they have your money, they don't want anything to do with you anymore. The right thing to do would be to waive the fees so that your "family" is happy with their trailer. Instead, they want people to spend more money on their mobile service. I'm disappointed and angry. read more

We went to Referral Auto Group to purchase a travel trailer. From the moment we reached out over the phone to the time we signed and picked up our trailer, every person we encountered in this business went above and beyond. We were approved for a loan over the phone/email, and we went to look at trailers in person. We had our eye on a used trailer, and we never felt pressured to change our mind or purchase a more expensive trailer. When we picked up our trailer Paul made sure we knew how to work every part of our trailer. We walked away feeling completely comfortable of how everything worked. We took our trailer out the following weekend and Sam showed up at our campsite to make sure all was going well. If you want a place that cares about the customer, Referral Auto Group is the place to go. read more

We purchased a used toy hauler here and traded in our old travel trailer. From start to finish the entire experience was excellent. Everyone there is honest and upfront about everything. Great communication from Sam our salesman throughout the process. They even pulled the wheels off the trailer and ran them to the tire shop I chose to have the new tires put on for me since I'm over an hour away and couldn't get there during the week to do it myself. From Sam our salesman, to Paul the mechanic, everyone went above and beyond to give us a great buying experience. We will return if we need any work done on the trailer or decide to upgrade again in the future. read more

We have been RVers for 25 years. In that time, we have had our share of times when we needed good service to get us back out and enjoying the outdoors. In the last 6 moths, we were told about Referral Auto Group! WOW! How grateful we are. Cody (service mgr) has been awesome! Above and beyond gets it. Fair prices for quality work. They have saved us a tidy sum being able to repair some things instead of just bolting on new parts. We couldn't be more pleased. read more

Purchased our trailer from referral auto group in January and have received nothing but EXCELLENT service! Everyone there is extremely helpful and friendly! We had originally looked at the same trailer at a different dealer but decided to go with referral! They're honest, no hidden fees and they don't try to "sell" you. Their service department goes above and beyond and they ALWAYS get us in and out with whatever service we need. They are one of the very few dealers that have a lifetime warranty on all there new trailers! No need to shop around! They are the best! We have already begun referring family and friends. read more

Tony at referral auto group is truly the man! He seems to know a considerable amount more than most. I had an issue with my gooseneck 5th Wheel companion hitch having play up and down of about a quarter inch where it attaches to the bed. Any play there is bad. But I was able to make it move up and down about a quarter inch with just one hand pulling up on it. I just bought this truck. And I am amazed at the lack of forethought from the factory on the puck system in the new 2020 GMC 3500 HD. First of all the center weight is positioned from the factory 6 inches behind the rear axle as it's factory mount spot. Not going to go and all that frustration, that's not the point of this review. I took the truck and hitch to both the GMC dealership and the trailer dealership that sold me the hitch originally as well as five other places, and nobody could figure out any answers or how to fix it. The GMC dealership even called the manufacturer and the manufacturer didn't have an answer for it either (other than "that's how the factory sets it, it should be fine. We haven't had any complaints.") I went to Tony this morning thinking I'll give one more person a shot at seeing if we could figure this out before I have to go pick up my trailer. Within five minutes Tony not only figured out the problem, but I had also made a call to a relationship and found the fix. It was only $200 and a 15 minute drive away. Thank you Tony for getting a frustrating situation handled professionally quickly and correctly. I will be using referral auto group for 100% of all my service on my fifth wheel moving forward. read more

My mom was in the market for an Evoke. She did a quick google search and found this place. Hence I'm writing the review on my parents behalf. We came out on a whim and checked out a few trailers to see which one my parents would like along with the "kids" input and we settled on a model L. This review isn't just for the perfect trailer that my parents bought but for Tony an his wife. Tony was very informative he knew the ins and out of every trailer and was very HONEST about what they had to to offer. He wasn't pushy and said you had to get this one or that one he let us decide on what we liked and then walked us through the entire process. Both him and his wife are very accommodating. We did an unconventional trade in that my parents are very happy about and happy that it worked out for both parties. Tony helped my stepdad through the process of what we needed for his truck if that was the vehicle he would be using. All in all it worked out for them. We can't wait to go camping and enjoy the new haul. Thank you guys for your help and I know my parents are both very happy with their buy and more importantly who they purchased it from!! read more

Recently on a camping trip one of the spring brackets on our 5 wheel broke and the axles were damaged. I took our rig to Referral Auto group and they inspected the unit and generated a quote to repair it. The repair included replacing both axles, Springs and suspension. My insurance company was challenging replacing everything with new. Only wanted to mix some new components and keep some used pieces. Tony and Jen worked directly with my insurance adjuster and made it clear to him that it's not safe to do what they wanted to do and that Referral Auto Group would not take short cuts when it comes to safety. Long story short the insurance co agreed to repair our unit as per quoted. We had camping trips coming up and Tony and Jen and crew worked very hard to make sure we were able to go. Referral Auto group has Great technicians. I highly recommend Referral Auto Group if you are in need of purchasing or repairing a RV. read more

Let me tell you something about this great business and amazing owner, Tony. My wife and I purchased an rv to do some traveling. Three weeks after purchasing our rv, my wife came to me with great news. I am going to be a daddy. My first thought was oh my god. I am super excited to be a dad, followed by, but what about our plans to travel and enjoy our newly purchased rv? Well I hope you all are on the same page. We ended up going thru with becoming parents, but the rv ended up not getting used as we had planned. We put our rv in storage until the day we decided to sell. With all the non sense people out there trying to offer $800-1000 for a blue book valued rv at $45,000, this ordeal was becoming a nightmare. Then Tony came into our lives. I got an email from Tony followed by an offer that we couldn't refuse. Tony and I went back and forth with emails and phone calls for about two weeks, (wife, daughter and I were out of town) and then the day came. Saturday morning as promised at 10 am Tony was standing on my doorstep. He drove most of the night to come and purchase an rv that he only seen pictures of and talked over the phone with me a hand full of times. There was no haggling no nothing. Just the most professional demonstration of a great business owner. There was no concern with the transaction and the amount of time Tony took out of my day was less than an hour. I wish there to be more people in this world like Tony. This world would be a much better place. Honest, fair and reliable is my definition of Tony. Thank you again for showing my wife, daughter and myself that there truly are trustworthy people in this world. This is a business I do plan to return to when we decide to purchase again. read more

When shopping for new travel trailer/5th wheel I went to a few well known dealers in the area. When shopping and asking questions they didn't have the answers just carried a price list around with them and didn't even know the location of some of their trailers. A friend told me about Referral Auto Group and I found something I was interested in. When I went there Ricky showed me the 5th wheel I was looking for and answered every question in detail. Then Tony came over and introduced himself and also gave me some more info about the 5th wheel. Overall very happy with the experience of the sale with Ricky and Tony. When I went to pick up trailer Paul did the walk through and he explained and went over every working part of the trailer and how use all equipment which was different from my previous trailer. You guys are great and would come back to make another purchase. I will also refer any of my friends or family to Referral Auto Group for a travel trailer purchase. We are extremely happy with our new 5th wheel thank you Ricky. read more

INTEGRITY! This one word sums of Tony and Referral Auto Group. We had been in contact with each other for six weeks as we waited for a specific model to be delivered from the manufacturer. We were first on the list for the rig and Tony, true to his word, made sure we were the first ones to see it. Although they provide financing, as full-timers we needed to secure our loan with another banking institution. Tony and Christie gave us time to work on that and were so patient and kind while we did so. These people are amazing! We never wanted to purchase from a dealer, but Tony and Christie are every bit of the "5-star" reviews they have and worth the five-hour drive. read more

We bought a new KZ Durango 5th wheel from Referral Auto Group. Ricky our salesperson was on the ball and we had a great experience purchasing. Tony was very informative and also great to deal with. I was impressed with how clean the repair shop is and how organized it was, We had nothing but a horrible experience before when we purchased a trailer at Best Buy in Turlock. This experience at Auto Referral Group was just the opposite. I would recommend buying from Referral Auto Group. So far nothing but great service. read more

You NEED to read this review to understand their level of service... Skip to "Review" (below) if you don't want to read the context of their level of service... Background: I bought a Travel Lite trailer from another dealer just under 2 years prior to reaching out to Referral Auto Group. I was out boondocking on BLM land and I noticed a crack in my fresh water tank. I reached out to my dealer for service and quote to replace the tank. They didn't return my call. After returning from my trip a month later on a Sunday afternoon, I reached out to my dealer for service... again, only to leave a message to call me back. Throughout the day, I called multiple service departments from other dealers and mobile mechanics to get quotes and other ideas of how to fix/replace it. In all cases, the dealerships would not work with me if I didn't buy my trailer from them. Some told me, they no longer supported the manufacturer also. Eventually, I got the same information from my dealer... because I called my dealer back for the fourth time. The only people who called me back were mobile mechanics, but only to get additional information, but they never called back with what information I was looking for or promised. It became evident that getting service and a possible OEM tank replacement for my trailer would be difficult. Eventually I got a quote from my dealer and the quote was astronomical. Not only was it difficult to find a service department to help me (including the dealership I bought the trailer from), no one could provide me a reasonable solution. The exception was Christie from Referral Auto Group... Christie answered the phone on that Sunday and we discussed my issue. She was willing to help, but since the call was on a Sunday she stated she had to call me back the following Tuesday. "Yeah right..." I thought. As promised, not only did Christie call back, she called back with actual information. She provided me background on the manufacturer and also stated she could get an OEM tank. This was the first time a service department was willing to provide me service and give me an actual quote. Not only that, the cost was actually reasonable. Eventually it ended being a fraction of my dealership cost for a replacement. It was important to me to write the background of my issue so people understand context of how difficult it was to get any service department to commit to help. My dealership was flaky at best. Most dealerships were simply not willing to help since I didn't purchase my trailer from them. Mobile service was undependable and difficult to nail them down on time/cost estimates. You really take notice when a company calls you back and provides you the info you requested the FIRST TIME you ask for it. You'll also notice that they don't always refer to this company as Referral Auto Group... they're referred to as "Christie" and "Tony". That's the level of customer service you get with these guys. You forget you're actually there for service or a purchase. Review: Christie from Referral Auto Group, ordered my part when every other dealer or service department stated they couldn't/wouldn't. Unfortunately, manufacturer sent the wrong tank and created a delay. Christie and Tony escalated the issue. During this delay, both kept me in constant communication on the status, including calling me at least once a week and/or emailing me. During this time, I asked them to research changing out my converter charger. Tony did some research and offered me the best option for my set up. He provided me the info so I could do my own research and he was spot-on with the product I was looking for. Needless to say, I requested them to order it and install it alongside my tank replacement. Installation was done well and even reinforced my tank to help avoid having the same issue. (Note: There may have been a design flaw that caused the crack. He advised additional reinforcement on the bottom to be sure.) Installation for both service requests did not take long and was available for me to pick up when promised. Pricing for service is not the cheapest or the most expensive. What you get is the exceptional customer service and service. Get you what you need and deliver what was promised. They even accommodated me every step of the way including the onset of the COVID-19, where I was able pay them without the need to go into the office and let me pick up my trailer before everything shut down. Overall, I would recommend Referral Auto Group just on the basis of their amazing customer service. If I ever need service or upgrade my RV I would reach out to these guys first, knowing they would support my purchase and not leave me hanging like my dealership did. The reviews you see here are real. I would highly recommend. read more

We were going out of town with our trailer, last minute my husband remembered he needed a new hitch with a few inch drop (whatever that means). He called around and no one could fit him in on such short notice (understandably so) We then heard, from a friend, about this place. My husband called and got ahold of someone, the gentleman knew exactly what my husband was looking for and turns out, he had a used one we could purchase at a lesser price. Score, my husband got a great deal on the part and they had great hourly rates. Knowing that we needed it in just a few days, he could have charged us a ridiculous amount and we would have probably paid for it since WE NEEDED IT. We were blown away by how honest and fair the gentleman was. This is the first time we needed to get something for our trailer. We will definitely continue to come to them and refer our friends over. We're back from our trip now and my husband raved about how great it worked out and how we have to leave a review. Thank you for being so courteous & honest AND willing to squeeze us in on such short notice! read more

We saw an ad they had placed on Facebook and checked out their website. The trailer we were interested in seemed to good to be true. We decided to drive to Escalon and check it out. We were so glad we did! Christie showed us nearly every trailer they had that met our needs. She told us she wasn't normally the person who showed the trailers. She does the paperwork part of the business but she did great for us and when we asked a question she didn't know, she found out for us. We had an issue with our bank not understanding the price because the "book" they use seemed to be off by several thousand. They called Tony, the owner, many times to ask questions and he was able to answer their concerns. The most incredible part was the walk thru they did when we picked it up. Paul walked us thru everything and showed us how it all worked. He was very patient when we kept asking questions that we probably should have already know the answers. We feel like we got a great deal on our trailer and will refer everyone we know who is interested in purchasing a trailer. On a personal note, I have buyers remorse when I buy a new hair dryer but I have never once regretted this purchase. Thanks Tony, Christie and Paul. read more

We bought a new fifth wheel from Referral Auto Group in Escalon . We had been to Manteca, Turlock, and Sacramento but circled back to Escalon because of quality of the trailer and the no pressure friendly atmosphere of the place. They spent about an hour with us and at no time were we pressured . My truck was in the shop so the owner delivered the trailer to my house in Valley Springs. I had a two hour walk through with a technician and at the end he told me to call them with any questions and they would walk me through them. The owner told me the same thing.
