I don't know where to start. But the staff are nice enough. Sales of course are great, they want your business. Financing quick and easy. Service guys are nice but also make a lot of excuses for crappy products that they sell! I bought a brand new 2026 highland ridge and it has spent more time in the shop then with me. I paid a lot of money upfront for an inspection that I was told would completely go through the camper to make sure it was all good to go. However it is now in the shop having an entire wall rebuilt because it was not manufactured properly. Like a whole wall on a brand new piece of equipment. It's had leaks, it's had molding fall off, it's had minor things but a whole wall? I've asked of if I can get my inspection fees reimbursed but am told I need to contact sales or financing... like why do I need to make a bunch of calls when you can throw a pen to the sales guys desk??? The office is Small. Whenever I ask why all this is happening I'm just about the crappy California road and how my camper is an earth quake on wheels. However I'm pretty sure it has wheels for a reason!!!!! It's suppose to go down the road. Good thing gmc doesn't use those excuses no one would buy their trucks. My advice.... Don't buy new! It's not worth it. Or maybe just don't buy highland ridge! In no world is it ok to buy brand new stuff that then needs to be rebuilt, and all you get is a bunch of lame excuses but no compensation! read more

Once again we are getting blown off by Discovery RV . We have a major leak . purchased extended warranty a yr ago when we purchased the 43 ft 5 th wheel from them . We have an issue with the heater also that we reported to them a while back . A nice man came out but the issue continued . Called them again . Was told someone would come out and then never heard from them again . Now the leak issue that is on the slide that they repair when we purchased has a major leak . I would like to reply to Jason's comments. First you stated we purchased a 12yo rv below market value. Not true sir, we purchased the RV above market value. Market Value of this RV at the time of purchase was $13288. According to JD Power, we paid $16250 + $800 for an inspection that I believe was never conducted. The tires were recommended to be replaced due to age and we did so from a different vendor due to the extensive overpriced substandard tires you offered us. You also recommended we replace the awning which we declined because there is nothing wrong with the awning (likely the only thing we haven't replaced) I would also like to point out that we replaced the Propane/Carbon monoxide detector that had been unplugged due to it being out of date and needing replaced ( not sure if that is even legal). You did meet with me and did the minimum. The fact is that the RV we purchased was a pretty turd that was polished and we were led to believe was a gem. My hope is you will learn from your past mistakes and do better for your customers in the future, however we will most definitely not be doing business with you again!! read more

Just had major service done on our travel trailer; repack bearings, check brakes, flush tank, reseal roof. They found a hole in the roof membrane that I didn't even know was there. They patched it and revealed the whole roof. My batteries were also fried so they replaced them and installed new cases for them. Even got the oven pilot to work that I haven't been able to do in 8 years! The work done was great! Everybody I dealt with was great and walked me through everything until I was comfortable. Be aware and careful what you buy these days and who you buy it from. My experience with Lodi Discovery Rv has been nothing short of a nightmare. They can't figure out an electrical problem (they even changed an outside light twice and it still doesn't work) so now they blamed it on me changing to a new lithium 200 AH battery only having to exchange that (with an OK from the warranty gal) because the battery it came with did not run the coach, how does that work? They sent out a tech after I got my coach back from them for the water tank that fell out of the belly of this Jayco 23' highlander off road. It took a month to get approval and the parts, three days to fix it and I get it back with a completely dead battery and they tell me to call the battery manufacturer, pretty lame. I'll never trust these guys again to do anything and I'm thinking they should meet my attorney. read more

My family and I purchased a used RV from discover RV last month. I would like to start off on a positive note and emphasize that my dealer I worked with was great. He was very thorough and courteous as we worked through all the details and overall I enjoyed working with him. However my concern about discover RV is that their shop is not professional and apparently did not perform the inspection that I paid for. I was charged an $899 service fee and my dealer promised that for this fee they would look over the vehicle and correct any problems. As part of our deal I was also contractually promised an oil change. I discovered when I brought the vehicle home that they had not performed the oil change as promised because the oil filter had a date written on the bottom from 2019. There were many obvious issues which were not taken care of. The water filters were both clogged and the generator had never been serviced and still had the original oil and filter from 2006. The cooling system was 8 QUARTS LOW and this could have overheated the engine. I think one of the most significant defects that I discovered was that the air cleaner housing for the main engine was completely separated off the motor. Both straps that hold the air cleaner assembly to the frame we're disconnected as well. According to Cummins this could have led to premature engine failure it could have easily cost me $25,000 in repair bills. Like I said the dealer I worked with was great. However the shop is clearly a Micky Mouse operation and clearly did not perform the service that I was charged for :(. My advice to any future customers of Discover RV would be to have your own mechanic look over your rig not theirs. I would also suggest telling your dealer that you will not be signing the mandatory arbitration contract as this effectively limits your options for remedy in case there is a serious problem that's discovered later. I have 45 ft Motor Home - Newmar London Aire I developed HWH leak (Jacks - slide Outs) Newmar said Discover RV HWH qualified and recommended Discover RV I am at a RV Site in Lodi nearby - drove down to discover this morning - receptionist said yes we work on HWH - systems - explained the unit I had and where the unit was located less then 1/2 mile from there service center. She said service manager is busy with other customer - as soon as he is done - will write up ticket for the repair. I waited for over 20 mins to find out when the service manager decided to talk to me - asked couple of questions about the HWH - and then decided since it was MotorHome - they will not work on it. (very subjective statement- pick and choose ) Your sign says you repair RV and Motorhome is an RV - HWH system jacks etc same on trailer as on RV - does not make any sense - typical delta crape - RVers should probably by-pass this area I was totally dumb founded by the SOP of Discover RV - I will notify Newmar and HWH of my experience with Discover RV read more

BEWARE! This is NOT a trustworthy business . Discover RV was caught blatantly engaging in price gouging and multiple lies to my elderly mother and myself. My mother had just lost her husband of 53 years the month prior and Discover RV deceitfully preyed on her. My mother's insurance company (National General) said it's one of the worst cases they've seen by an RV shop of price gouging and deceit with an overinflated repair estimate of over $17,000. The specific offenders/liars at Discover RV include: Jason, Abel and Rosie. Discover RV let my mother's RV sit on it's lot and not even look at it for the estimate for weeks. We had to call multiple times just to get Abel and Rosie and their team to start to look at her RV it to give an estimate. We encountered one excuse after the other at to why it hadn't been looked at. After being caught, Jason lied attempting to cover-up and stating that the estimate they submitted to the insurance company was for another RV; Jason stated that he didn't have the claim file in front of him, yet he was on the other phone line when we called in with our insurance company, attempting to play one adjuster against another to get a repair approval on the claim. Jason tells us he doesn't have the file in front of him and put's us on a legthy hold. How do you not have the file in front of you??? When we called in on a conference call with the adjuster and even though Jason had been told the day prior by the adjuster that the estimate Discover submitted wasn't being accepted. Luckily the adjuster internally messaged the other adjuster to warn of the attempted deceit whie we were on hold. Discover RV charged a bogus $215 fee to prepare the estimate ( they call it a diagnostic charge in guise....an estimate is an estimate is an estimate). The insurance company kindly paid the $215 to get the RV released so my mother could immediately move forward and onward with a more reputable RV place. Then Discover RV wouldn't release my mothers RV even though they had received $215 from the insurance company and had been given the proof of payment. When we and also the insurance company said we were not going to have Discover do the repairs and we were going to have the RV picked up within a few hours, Discover RV caused further delay by sabotoging the pick-up of the RV by tampering with the RV batteries for the electronic lift for the stabilizers and falsely alleging to the tow driver doing the pick-up that they hadn't received the $215 which then caused the tow driver an over hour delay and hence necessitated a return trip the next day to pick-up the RV to get it to a different RV repair shop that is reputable. Jason should have communicated with his service team there, but was so disgruntled at having gotten caught in multiple lies/not getting the business and of the RV getting moved to a competing and more reputable service shop in town to finally be repaired. When the insurance company started to investigate and conduct inquiries on our behalf, two other RV shops in town estimated the repairs to be at $5,000. Huge differential/discrepancy they were attempting to gouge my mother for. This has all transpired in July-August 2024. We are reporting this business to the State of California and warning others of the price gouging of an elder and fraudulent tactics that we encountered at Discover RV. Thank goodness too for National General Insurance for investigating and for filing what they need to do to warn other insurance companies about Discover RV price gouging tactics. Again, I would NOT recommend Discover RV to anyone, especially a female or senior citizen. BEWARE!!!! read more

I am giving one star it really need to be no stars. They advertise mobile repair service available. Left a message and when the repair tech called me I explained what I had. First he told me for 400.00 he would send someone to look at it. It was a minor fix on a brand new unit. When I told him fine come and look at it he then said he needed pictures emailed to him first. He wouldn't give me his email address so I told him I would take the picture and be over in a few minutes to show him. Oh no you cannot do it that way we can only do it my way and that would be e-mail so he could look at them at his leisure. He said I cannot just push you in front of all these people ahead of you. I never asked him to do that. He just kept tell me you have to do this my way we are so busy. If you are that busy then a customer should be told you can not accommodate them. Getting jerked around on the phone and putting absorbent prices on your estimate service is not the way to keep customers. I would definitely not recommend their repair service to anyone. Had several issues with our brand new trailer we had purchased when we went for inspection to pick up. No follow through to make the repairs and remedy the situation. A month later and still no game plan to solving the issues had to get the manufacturer involved to finally get things moving. 3+ months later since we had paid for our trailer we still had not received it. When frustrated and fed up demanded our money back. Owner claimed we had already "taken possession" and it was not possible despite the trailer never touching our hitch and leaving the lot. They had our money and our trailer and there was no urgency to make things right so we could receive what we had purchased. Sent an attorney letter demanding our money or trailer ASAP and still no response to remedy the situation. Had to go down in person and demand a solution to make things right when the trailer was magically there and fixed for us to take home. The owner lacked empathy, took no accountability for his and his business' wrong doing and was so arrogant. They could do no wrong and this is not a place you want to support nor work with if things go wrong.
