Water damage in the back wall
Jarrod J.

I would like to reply to Jason's comments. First you stated we purchased a 12yo rv below market value. Not true sir, we purchased the RV above market value. Market Value of this RV at the time of purchase was $13288. According to JD Power, we paid $16250 + $800 for an inspection that I believe was never conducted. The tires were recommended to be replaced due to age and we did so from a different vendor due to the extensive overpriced substandard tires you offered us. You also recommended we replace the awning which we declined because there is nothing wrong with the awning (likely the only thing we haven't replaced) I would also like to point out that we replaced the Propane/Carbon monoxide detector that had been unplugged due to it being out of date and needing replaced ( not sure if that is even legal). You did meet with me and did the minimum. The fact is that the RV we purchased was a pretty turd that was polished and we were led to believe was a gem. My hope is you will learn from your past mistakes and do better for your customers in the future, however we will most definitely not be doing business with you again!!

Ok folks, as we all know trailer motor home and fifth wheels are not what they used to be? Anyways I purchased a brand new trailer from discover rv in the end of 2023. Not many issues surprisingly! But the one issue we had was taken care of Rosie my service writer was above and beyond professional. She did everything she could do on her to make the unit right for us and for that I would purchase again from them. Rosie THANK YOU!! You provided the best customer service I've seen in a long time.

First time RV buyer experience, highly recommend. Jose was our sales associate, my wife and I could not be more happier with our new 2024 KZ Sportsman Classic TT. There was never any pressure and gave us an excellent buying experience. I would hands recommend this RV dealer to my family and friends. We look forward to doing more business in the future when we're ready to upgrade! Thanks again to the whole Discover RV team, but especially to Jose Guzman in Sales

This was my first time purchasing from a dealer. Discover RV gives off the small town dealer feelings and experience with HIGHLY competitive prices and quality campers. Jose was our salesman expert and I mean that. With every camper we looked at, without reference to any piece of external data, was able to regurgitate every piece of relevant information that we required while we navigated our way through several campers. Jose is an active listener, able to hear what we wanted while watching as we look at specific features that facilitated our family's special needs. His mental fortitude in hearing and seeing what our family needed led us to a perfect purchase of a 33' camper that was well within our towing capabilities. He made the dreaded paperwork process painless and facilitated our family's needs while we performed our camper orientation and hitch hookup. Though Jason was not our personal representative throughout the purchasing process, his peripheral observation art skills enabled Jose to serve us seamlessly, helping him to multitask efficiently while we bombarded (respectfully) Jose with the superfluity of questions.

Amazing and honest We had a leaking heating hose in our motorhome and located this shop and thank Goodness we did. Friendly and helpful they advised us of the problem and we were free to hit the road stress free. Thank you so much! I would 100 give my business to them

Our refrigerator caught fire in our MB…read moreSprinter while dry camping; we think it was due to poor workmanship done on the refrigerator by another mobile RV company. We contacted RV-Time and the dynamic duo owners, Matthew and Ashley. The insurance company approved us getting an estimate, and Matthew immediately contacted the insurance agent and got right to work, which resulted in an approved estimate in half a day. Both Matthew and Ashley explained in detail the job, which involved a new refrigerator, all the connecting propane hoses, electrical wiring, fuses, and substantial cleaning inside and outside the RV. They asked if we had a trip planned, and since we had a big one in a few weeks, they said they would do everything they could to get it done a few days before we left. And they did. All the parts were then ordered. Matthew or Ashley would call regularly with updates, suggestions, or decisions. Both of them know so much about RVs - it is simply amazing. We both felt completely confident that we, and our rig, were in good - no - great hands. We have complete trust in their workmanship and their desire to serve us and our RV needs in the best and most expedient way possible. Do we recommend them? Let me put it this way: We will not go anywhere else for all things RV.

They found a minor problem with an outer bearing and replaced it. They took pictures, and saved the bearing to show me the problem. Best part with this place is not just the excellent work they do but the communication too. I've heard nightmare stories from friends about other RV repair places/dealerships. Fortunately, I've only brought mine to RV Time and it's exceeded my expectations. If you live anywhere near this place, I'd highly recommend bringing your rig here. Great family owned business.

You will need service and they will absolutely let you down and disappoint you at every turn. Our purchase experience in Oct 2021 was very good, Jason and team were very helpful and we got a very fair deal. Pick up day wasn't great, there were about 9 things that I found that had to be fixed during the walk-through. My strong advice here is to not sign the paperwork until after you do the walk-through. Essentially we already owned the RV the first time we got to walk it and find all the problems, not a good situation. Derek and the service team took care of us and after a couple hours we were able to leave with the 9 above things mostly fixed. Within 3 weeks of purchase we started having issues with the Schwintek slide mechanism not working correctly, it was popping and there were metal shavings coming from it. Back it went to the Happy Daze and they recommended full slide column replacement, after much back and forth, including having to pick it up for a trip and then bring it back, it was fixed after a month or so. I later discovered the ladder was damaged during the time at Happy Daze, which isn't surprising considering the crazy amount of RVs in the tiny lot that have to be moved around constantly. We then had good experiences with our 2400BH for next few months. July 2022, we were camping for the 4th and noticed our Furrion12v refrigerator wasn't cooling well. This is apparently a very common problem with these units. We limped it along for the trip and when we got home I did a bunch of testing, called Furrion for help and they said in the 1st year of the 2 year warranty I have to work with Grand Design, ugh, not looking forward to this. Also, our slide starting popping and creating metal shavings again. I called Happy Daze service and Alfred answered, I explained the situation and let him know we had our next camping trip in 5 weeks. He set an appointment for us to drop it off in 2 weeks, not great, but acceptable. I called Alfred 1 week after dropping it off and asked for the status, now is where things really go down hill. He said they haven't looked at it yet and they won't until it is "my turn," I asked when that would be, he said he didn't know. I asked how many RVs are in front of me, he said maybe 20. I mentioned again that we have a trip now in 2 weeks, he said they will try and look at the fridge. This is crazy to me, why would I drop my RV off if you aren't going to look at in the next day or two, what is the point of making an appointment? I let another 10 days go by and call again, no answer, I called more than 6 times over the course of 3 days, no answer. I left a voicemail, nothing. We are now 2 days from camping so I go to pick up my RV. Alfred is there, he says oh yeah, there are only a couple more in front of you at this point. Great, I need to collect it so we can go to our scheduled trip with everything still broken. It was in the farthest possible spot in the back, they had to move at least 6 other RVs to get to mine. One hour later I get to take my still broken, and now very dirty RV home and bring it back the following Monday. I am so mad at this point I could scream. I happened to run into Jason, who sold me the RV, less than 10 months ago. I explained my situation, he had no response, another customer came over and asked him a question and he took that opportunity to quickly get away from me. It is all very sad and maddening. This is not our first RV, we owned a Forest River Coachmen for 5 years that never once had to be serviced. Grand Design is advertised as a premium product and experience, I can say I will never buy one again. I love our RV, I love RVing, but the complete lack of customer service is extremely disappointing. I do want to say that Derek in the service department is an awesome guy, he recognizes me every time I come in (which is entirely too often), is super friendly and goes out of his way to try and make me feel better, he is very much one man alone. Do not buy an RV from Happy Daze until and unless they fix their broken service department.

What a great place to stay overnight…read more We arrived without a reservation (in the off-season). The Security Guards guided us to a self registration board and to a great site. This place has paved roads, paved pads, red lava rock between sites to conserve water, and trees at nearly all of the sites. The pull through sites are good sized (approximately 50' x 25') and the utilities are in a great location relative to most campers and RV's (last 1/4 of the drivers side of the rig). No problems with water, electric, or sewer (though the sewer does come up out of the ground about 3" so you either need a slope device (slinky, sidewinder, etc) or to walk your sewer hose after draining. The restrooms were clean - showers with individual locking doors and a wheelchair accessible shower. No trash or messes left. The laundry was clean and priced very reasonable. The office has a little area for basic RV supplies and offers coffee, etc. The pool was clean and sparkling, but it was too cold to test out. If I need to stop in for a short or longer stay, this is one I would choose again.

The big downfall to this place is the dog park is way down a hill that is covered in square stones that are uneven as someone who just had spinal surgery I couldn't walk down it without almost falling and hurting myself. I could not even take my dog down there to go to the bathroom. I had to rely on my husband to do it. When I asked the young man in there if they had a different entrance, it was safer for older people or people with injuries. He said no that was the only entrance there was nothing he could do about it we could walk our dog somewhere else however, there's nowhere else in the park to walk him. If you have a dog in your elderly or you're injured or disabled, this is very unsafe so please don't try to go down the hill. It's very steep. Other than that the location is really good.

Staff is very nice and we did bring it in just before Memorial Day so we knew we would probably have a wait. All we needed was generator oil change, checking the water pump and battery load, looking at the tires sensors, checking the roof and a wash. They said we needed new tape on top to keep the solar panels in place and couldn't find anything wrong with the pump. We got it back after three weeks and on the walk-through were actually told that the guys took all the old tape off and cleaned it up when they didn't even need to do that but they thought it was a water repellent issue which it wasn't. So who knows how much extra time went to that at $175 an hour or so. We also noticed later that we didn't get the tire valve caps back and I went to turn on the air conditioner unit in the 96° heat in downtown Saceamento and they had not turned the switch back on for that in the generator. That meant that after consulting with AI during a work event, I I was crawling under the RV in downtown Sacramento on the street to open the generator cover and flip the switch. The work overall cost $1100. Obviously, we did not think it was particularly affordable, convenient and we're not pleased with the handling of the relatively simple items on our list. There's another place not too far from us and a highly rated mobile technician as well that maybe we'll try next time. ARV business model involves multiple different technicians working on the van, which is why it takes so long, but in addition to the inconvenience we just got pretty mixed results on the work.
