Called and discussed the non op of a truck. Service department seemed like they were on it. The problems of the truck were discussed at length. It was agreed to have truck towed in which they took care of for a cost around $362.50 for a 22 minute haul.... Service Dept called me and gave me a cost of $1200.00 to repair the problem after they performed their diagnosis which included the tow.. I said yes.... 2 days later, they ask for $ 2,000.00 just to continue to diagnose and work on the truck... I said NO, that is ridiculous. We arraigned our own tow as they did not fix the truck in any way and the cost was... $ 150.00. I am not in the business to pay a shop to learn or teach employees how to work on a vehicle. OH YEAH, then they refuse to let the truck go unless we pay them $ 892.03.... We have to run a check to them to release the truck, is this like being held hostage....? STAY AWAY....... We always go to Burns for a good RV wash! These guys work hard and do a great job!! If there is a line it's worth the wait! We pay $50.00 for our 40ft motorhome. The guys are very nice and they do a thorough job!!!! Bring cash so you aren't charged a fee by the credit card machine.Tip the guys for all the hard work!! Highly recommend!!!!! read more

If you own an RV, and are in need of repair, look no further. This shop will do it all, at a fair price, quality workmanship and pride in what they do. We took our American Coach MotorHome here after it was completely screwed up by Cummins in West Sacramento. Mark Burns (owner) personally took oversight of our issues, ran interference with Cummins, and got our Coach back on the road in a timely fashion. My wife and I travel all over the country and have never, found a shop that truly cares this much about their customers. Unlike some truck repair shops, Burns welcomes RV's and the owner is and RV'er as well and understands what needs to be done. Do not hesitate to take your rig to this shop! read more

Great service team and I've never met a more knowledgeable staff. Took my rig to multiple shops to get it fixed with no luck. In no time the guys at Burns had the problem diagnosed and fixed. This shop is amazing!!! I own a fleet of 20+ trucks and trailers. I bring all my equipment here for my repairs and services and I can't befriend to explain how happy I am with their help. Great communication. They have helped me get my truck in and out within minutes. I have been able to keep my drivers happy by having them drop truck off and picking it up good as new. Amazing staff. This place is scam. They do not honor their words. Spent $700 on alignment and guy told me that I need to get front tires replaced. He told me that he is going to check front tires alignment after I get it replaced for no charge. But when I went to burns after I replaced my tires. Now they're saying they're gonna charge me $130 an hour. Do not trust their words. read more

Too often people only make comments when unhappy with something. We were extremely happy with the service we got from this firm. We were stranded on Friday of Thanksgiving weekend on the way to the coast to be with our kids and grandkids. Our 35' Southwind wouldn't start after we stopped for fuel. It would turn over, but wasn't getting gas. Our Good Sam Road Service got us towed. The closest repair facility able to work on our rig was Burns Truck & Trailer Repair, behind Love's Truck Stop in Ripon. We were towed in there on Friday afternoon, when many businesses were closed for the holidays. We found it to be a large operation and it was obviously very busy. The service coordinator told us that they could not possibly work on it until Monday as they were already jammed up and closed over the weekend. At 0800 on Monday I called and they were already discussing it. Before 1000 they had found the problem and phoned me. A relay module controlling the fuel pump had failed. We drove our tow back there and they processed us rapidly. We were back on our way to meet with the kids and grandkids in short order. Needless to say, we were extremely pleased. read more

I just wanted to thank, the team at Burns for all their hard work, and professionalism, that I received. I had to have a new Cummins engine put in to my bus. I was kept up to speed on everything that was being done, and that needed to done, all in a timely matter. I honestly felt and seen the integrity of all who works here. I stopped by here to get some light mechanical work done to the truck. I was told that this shop has a good reputation with the locals. The staff was friendly and the quote was reasonable. They did the work, but one huge problem. They charged me double what anyone else would. They said they were giving me a good deal because they want return business. But everything on the invoice was doubled at least. Some things tripled and even higher. The repairs were five to six hundred higher than they would have been anywhere else. I think maybe they take care of the locals and bury the passers through. I work for a very large company and will let everyone know. I want to support small businesses, but honest small businesses. Truckers are the backbone of America's economy. Without us nobody could exist. Why are we always given the shaft when we need help. I completely understand now why their company is named "Burns", Because I'll be feeling it for a long time. I was foolish enough to trust them once. That is the only chance they'll get with me.
